    Establishment of Soil Conservation unit at Bowa Banihal Tehsil Khadi District Ramban by way ofdifferent operations(Geo-Cordinates:- 33˚25’57”N 75˚5’59”E)- 1 Fencing work:- Fencing using square PCC Fence Posts confirming to product code: PCFP-3 at spacing of 10 feet and 4 strands of B.A Barbed wire confirming to the product code: BA-BW. At least every 8th fence post along the straight fence line and every fence posts at the corner be fixed in the cement concrete block of size 1-6 x 1-0 x 1-0 as per the Forest Schedule. (entry gate, sign board included with painting, writing & numbering of PCC) 2 Plantation work:- Planting of Naked Root saplings in staggered pits of size (0.45x0.45x0.45m) along the contours as well as on the flat surface (The rate includes the cost digging of pits, refilling with clean surface soil, carriage of plants and raising of water harvesting structures etc.) as per the Forest Schedule. Plants liftfrom Mehar Ramban Nry. to proposed site. 3 Crate Work:- Earth work in excavation by manual means for foundations, drains, pipes, cables etc. (not exceeding 1.5m in width) and for shafts wells cesspits and the llike not exceeding 10 sqm on plan, depth upto 1.5m including the disposal of excavated earth upto 1m from the cutting edge, disposed earth to be levelled and neatly dressed in all kinds of soil. 4 Hand packing stones in wire-crates, excluding cost of crates and stones. 5 Supply of stones for wire-crates. 6 Filling available excavated earth (excluding rock) in trenches, plinth, sides of foundations etc. in layer not exceeding 20cm in depth, consolidating each deposited layer by ramming and watering, lead upto 50m and lift upto 1.5m. 7 Carriage of materials from source to site of work for distance of 400km HL. (Qty vide item no 3) 8 Providing and Fixing of Crates (G.I Wire 20x4x4 ft) of mesh size 100mmx100mmx4mm 9 Carriage of Crates HL 0.5 KM
