(towards sea which depends upon the shifting of the (-) 15.40 m contour due to siltation). Maintenance dredging of all these areas involves dredging in all types of soil comprising of clay, silt, sand etc.Thedredged material is to be taken away by the dredging Contractor subject to conditions laid down atItem No.1 of PART-III of this BOQ for beneficial use by recycling of dredged material . In case the dredged material is not taken away by the Contractor for beneficial use for any reason, then dredged material shallbe transported and dumped in the designated dumping ground, situated at a distance about 7.00 K.M towards North-west direction from the intersection point of the outer approach channel with (-) 15.40 mtrs contour line ( the drawing of the dumping ground enclosed).Cost including Survey launch, routine boat and hire charges of all plant & equipment, cost of labour, materials and consumables (please refer Tender Document for Further Detailed Specification) |
| 6 | Dredging on In-situ Basis by using any special dredging equipment viz., Grab/ Cutter/ Bucket/ Plough etc. with allied equipment to dredge/clear the area within 0 to 7 mts. from the berth face whenever the berth is vacant without affecting the port operations from the existing levels in all types of soils comprising of sand, silt deposits of spillage of iron ore / mines, fallen wooden logs, tyres, fenders, boulders, rock /concrete pieces, debris, steel plates, chains, wire ropes, cement bags, tarpaulins, etc. up to a depth of (-) 8.00 mCD at B.No. 1, and in front of B.No.1 up to Centre Line of O.A.
