Tender For Extension Of Rooftop Cafeteria At Infopark Thrissur --- 1 Demolishing cement concrete manually / by mechanical means including disposal of material within Koratty campus as per direction of Engineer - in-Charge, for all work above floor five level. Nominal concrete 1:3:6 or richer mix (i/c equivalent design mix) 2 Providing and laying water proofing treatment to vertical and horizontal surfaces of depressed portions of W.C. kitchen and the like consisting of : i) I course of applying cement slurry @ 4.4 Kg/ sqm mixed with water proofing compound conforming to IS: 2645 in recommended proportions including rounding off junction of vertical and horizontal surface. ii) II course of 20 mm cement plaster 1:3 ( 1 cement : 3 coarse sand) mixed with water proofing compound in recommended proportion including rounding off junction of vertical and horizontal surface. iii) III course of applying blown or residual bitumen applied hot at 1.7 kg per sqm of area. iv) IV course of 400 micron thick PVC sheet. (Overlaps at joints of PVC sheet should be 100 mm wide and pasted to each other with bitumen @ 1.7 Kg/ sqm.(for work above floor five level) 3 Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering, 1:2:4 (cement : 2 coarse sand : 4 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size) to the required thikness and slope, (for work above floor five level) 4 Reinforced cement concrete work in beams, suspended floors, roofs, having slope up to 150 landings, balconies, shelves, chajjas, lintels, bands, plain window sills, staircases and spiral stair cases, excluding the cost of centering, shuttering, finishing and reinforcement, with1:1.5:3 (1 cement : 1.5 coarse sand (Zone III) : 3 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size).(for work above floor five level) 5 Reinforced cement concrete work in walls (any thickness), including attached pilasters, buttresses, plinth and string courses, fillets, columns, pillars, piers, abutments, posts and struts etc, excluding cost of centering, shuttering, finishing and reinforcement :1:1.5:3( 1 cement : 1.5 coarse sand : 3 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size)(for work above floor five level) 6 Centering and shuttering including strutting, propping etc. and removalof form for : Lintels, beams, plinth beams, girders, bressumers andcantilevers, for work above floor five level. 7 Centering and shuttering including strutting, propping etc. and removalof form for : Columns, Pillars, Piers, Abutments, Posts and Struts, for work above floor five level. 8 Steel reinforcement for R.C.C. work including straightening, cutting,bending, placing in position and binding all complete above floor five level. 9 Providing and laying autoclaved aerated cement blocks masonry with 150mm/ 230mm/300 mm thick AAC blocks in super structure with RCC band at sill level and lintel level with approved block laying polymer modified adhesive mortar all complete as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge. (The payment of RCC band and reinforcement shall be made for seperately). (above floor five level.) 10 Plastering in 12 mm thick cementmortar of mix1:6 (1 cement : 6 fine sand), for work above floor five level 11 Structural steel work riveted, bolted or welded in built up sections, trusses and framed work, including cutting, hoisting, fixing in position and applying one coat of epoxy primer etc.all complete, for work above floor five level. 12 Finishing with Epoxy paint (two or more coats) at all locations prepared and applied as per manufacturers specifications including one coat of epoxy priming coat, preparation of surface, etc. complete.On steel work, for work above floor five level. 13 Providing and fixing precoated galvanised iron profile sheets (size, shape and pitch of corrugation as approved by Engineer-in-charge) 0.50 mm (+0.05%), total coated thickness with zinc coating 120 grams per sqm as per IS: 277, in 240 mpa steel grade, 5-7 microns epoxy primer on both side of the sheet and polyester top coat 15-18 microns. Sheet should have protective guard film of 25 microns minimum to avoid scratches during transportation and should be supplied in single length upto 12 metre or as desired by Engineer-in-charge. The sheet shall be fixed using self drilling/self tapping screws of size (5.5x55mm) with EPDM seal, complete upto any pitch in horizontal/ vertical or curved surfaces, excluding the cost of purlins, rafters and trusses and including cutting to size and shape wherever required.(for work above floor five level) 14 Providing and fixing precoated galvanised steel sheet roofing accessories - Ridges plain (500-600 mm), 0.50 mm (+ 0.05%) total coated thickness, zinc coating 120 grams per sqm as per IS:mm(+0.05%) total coated thickness, Zinc coating 120 grams per sqm as per IS: 277, in 240 mpa steel grade, 5-7 microns epoxy primer on both side of the sheet and polyester top coat 15-18 microns using self drilling/self tapping screws complete: (for work above floor five level) 15 Providing and fixing precoated galvanised steel sheet roofing accessories - Flashings / Aprons (Upto 600 mm), 0.50 mm (+ 0.05%) total coated thickness, zinc coating 120 grams per sqm as per IS:mm(+0.05%) total coated thickness, Zinc coating 120 grams per sqm as per IS: 277, in 240 mpa steel grade, 5-7 microns epoxy primer on both side of the sheet and polyester top coat 15-18 microns using self drilling/self tapping screws complete: (for work above floor five level) 16 Applying one coat of water thinnable cement primer of approved brand and manufacture on wall surface:Water thinnable cement primer (for work above floor five level) 17 Providing and applying white cement based putty of average thickness 1 mm, of approved brand and manufacturer, over the plastered wall surface to prepare the surface even and smooth complete. (for work above floor five level) 18 Finishing walls with Premium Acrylic Smooth exterior paint with Silicone additives of required shade:New work (Two or more coats applied @ 1.43 ltr/ 10 sqm over and including priming coat of exterior primer applied @ 2.20 kg/ 10 sqm) (for work above floor five level) 19 Wall painting with premium acrylic emulsion paint of interior grade, having VOC (Volatile including applying additional coats wherever required to achieve even shade and colour.Two coats (for work above floor five level) 20 Providing and laying vitrified floor tiles of sizes upto 1.5 m2 with water absorption less than 0.08% and conforming to IS : 15622 (thickness to be specified by the manufacturer), of approved make, in all colours and shades, laid with cement based high polymer modified quick set tile adhesive (water base) confirming to IS 15477 in average 6mm thickness, including grouting the joints with approved colour epoxy filling width upto 5mm. complete. ( for work above floor five level) 21 Providing and fixing 1st quality vitrified glazed tilesof sizes upto 1.5 m2 conforming to IS : 15622 (thickness to be specified by the manufacturer ) of approved make in all colours, shades except burgundy, bottle green, black of any size as approved by Engineer-in-Charge in skirting, risers of steps and dados laid with cement based high polymer modified quick set tile adhesive (water base) confirming to IS 15477 in average 6mm thickness, including grouting the joints with approved colour epoxy filling width upto 5mm. ( for work above floor five level) 22 Providing and fixing factory made uPVC white colour casement/casement cum fixed glazed windows comprising of uPVC multi-chambered frame, sash and mullion (where ever required) extruded profiles duly reinforced with 1.60 +/- 0.2 mm thick galvanized mild steel section made from roll forming process of required length (shape & size according to uPVC profile), uPVC extruded glazing beads of appropriate dimension, EPDM gasket, stainless steel (SS 304 grade) friction hinges, zinc alloy (white powder coated) casement handles, G.I fasteners 100 x 8 mm size for fixing frame to finished wall, plastic packers, plastic caps and necessary stainless steel screws etc. Profile of frame & sash shall be mitred cut and fusion welded at all corners, mullion (if required) shall be also fusion welded including drilling of holes for fixing hardwares and drainage of water etc. After fixing frame the gap between frame and adjacent finished wall shall be filled with weather proof silicon sealant over backer rod of required size and of approved quality, all complete as per approved drawing & direction of Engineer-in-Charge. (Single / double glass panes and silicon sealant shall be paid separately). (for work above floor five level)Note: For uPVC frame, sash and mullion extruded profiles minus 5% tolerance in dimension i.e. in depth & width of profile shall be acceptable.Casement window double panels with top fixed with S.S. friction hinges (350 x 19 x 1.9 mm) made of (small series) frame 47 x 50 mm, sash 47 x 68 mm & mullion 47 x 68 mm all having wall thickness of 1.9 ± 0.2 mm and single glazing bead of appropriate dimension. ( Area of window upto 2.50 sqm). 23 Providing and fixing factory made uPVC white colour casement/ Casement cum fixed glazed door comprising of uPVC multi-chambered frame, sash and mullion (where ever required) extruded profiles duly reinforced with 1.60 +/- 0.2 mm thick galvanized mild steel section made from roll forming process of required length (shape & size according to uPVC profile), uPVC extruded glazing beads of appropriate dimension, EPDM gasket, zinc alloy (white powder coated) 3D hinges and one handle on each side of panels along with zinc plated mild steel multi point locking having transmission gear, cylinder with keeps and one side key, G.I fasteners 100 x 8 mm size for fixing frame to finished wall and necessary stainless steel screws, etc. Profile of frame & sash shall be mitred cut and fusion welded at all corners, mullion (if required) shall be also fusion welded including drilling of holes for fixing hardwares and drainage of water etc. After fixing frame the gap between frame and adjacent finished wall shall be filled with weather proof silicon sealent over backer rod of required size and of approved quality, all complete as per approved drawing & direction of Engineer-in-Charge. (Single / double glass panes and silicon sealent shall be paid separately).(for work above floor five level)Note: For uPVC frame, sash and mullion extruded profiles minus 5% tolerance in dimension i.e. in depth & width of profile shall be acceptable.Casement door with top hung ventilator with 3D and S.S. friction hinges (400 x 19 x 1.9 mm) made of (big series) frame 67 x 64 mm, sash 67 x 110 mm & mullion 67 x 80 mm all having wall thickness of 2.3 +/- 0.2 mm and single glazing bead / double glazing bead of appropriate dimension.(Area of door upto 2.50 sqm) 24 Providing and fixing fire resistant door frame of section 143x57 mm having built in rebate made out of 16 SWG G.I. sheet ( zinc coating not less than 120 gm/ sqm) duly filled with vermuculite based concrete mix, suitable for mounting 60 minutes fire rated door shutters. The frame is fitted with intumuscent fire seal strip of size 10x4 mm (minimum) alround the frame and fixing with dash fastener of approved size and make, including applying a coat of approved brand fire resistant primer etc. complete as per direction of Engineer -in-charge (Dash fastener to be paid for separately ). (for work above floor five level) 25 Providing and fixing 50 mm thick glazed fire resistant door shutters of 60 minutes fire rating conforming to IS : 3614 (Part - II), tested and certified as per laboratory approved by Engineer-in-Charge, with suitable mounting on door frame, consisting of vertical styles, lock rail, top rail 100 mm wide, bottom rail 200 mm wide, made out of 16 SWG G.I. sheet (zinc coating not less than 120 gm/m2) duly filled FR insulation material and fixing with necessary stainless steel ball bearing hinges of approved make including applying a coat of approved fire resistant primer etc. all complete as per direction of Engineer -in-charge ( panneling to be paid for separately). (for work above floor five level) 26 Providing and fixing panic bar / latch (Double point ) fitted with a single body, Trim Latch & Lock on back side of the Panic Latch of reputed brand and manufacture to be approved by the Engineer -in-charge, all complete. (for work above floor five level) 27 Providing and fixing partition upto ceiling height using 66 mm overall thickness Partition with 8 mm thick double skin Calcium Silicate Board (made with Calcareous & Siliceous materials reinforced with cellulose fiber manufactured through autoclaving process with Compressive Strength 225 kg/sq cm, Bending Strength 100 kg/sq cm,) andconsisting of G.I. frame and required board, including providing and fixing of frame work made of special section power pressed/ roll form G.I. sheet with Zinc coating of 120 gms/ (both side inclusive), consisting of floor and ceiling channel 50 mm wide having equal flanges of 32 mm and 0.50 mm thick, fixed to the floor and ceiling at the spacing of 610 mm centre to centre with dash fastener of 12.5 mm dia meter 50 mm length or suitable anchor fastener or metal screws with nylon plugs and the studs 48 mm wide having one flange of 34 mm and other flange 36 mm and 0.50 mm thick fixed vertically within flanges of floor and ceiling channel and placed at a spacing of 610 mm centre to centre by 6 mm dia bolts and nuts, including fixing of studs along both ends of partition fixed flush to wall with suitable anchor fastener or metal screws with nylon plugs at spacing of 450 mm centre to centre, and fixing of boards to both side of frame work by 25 mm long dry wall screws on studs, floor and ceiling channels at the spacing of 300 mm centre to centre. The boards are to be fixed to the frame work with joints staggered to avoid through cracks, M.S. fixing channel of 99 mm width (0.9 mm thick having two flanges of 9.5 mm each) to be provided at the horizontal joints of two boards, fixed to the studs using metal to metal flat head screws, including jointing and finishing to a flush finish with recommended jointing compound, jointing tape, angle beads at corners (25 mm x 25 mm x0.5 mm), joint finisher and two coats of primer suitable for board as per manufactures specification and direction of engineer in charge all complete. (for work above floor five level)
