Tender For Special Repairs To Esh Bldg No P-02 And Provn Of Ramp At Certain Location At Rajouri Under Ge 862 Ews.; 1 Complete removal of existing water proofing treatment over RCC roof, projections of any thickness, any type by stripping out old tar felt over roofs, parapets, chimney stacks etc laid horizontally or vertically including taking out layer of cement plaster etc and cleaning the surface with wire brush including removing debris from the site and depositing inlow lying area where directed and providing following :- (a)Rendering 10mm thick in cement mortar 1:4on concrete roof surfaces and finish the surface even and smooth without using extra cement including mixingwater proofing compound @ 2% by weight of cement.(b)Apply a coat of bituminous primer confirming to IS-3384@ 0.4 ltr/Sqm on newly plastered surface after curing as per IS-456 and dried.(c)After the primed surface has dried, apply a coat of hot blown bitumen(85/25 penetration) confirming to IS-702 @ 1.2 Kg/Sqm of the surface. (d)Provide polymeric water proofing membrane ISI marked laid with overlaps, bonded with hot blown bitumen, and laid by torch application method, end overlaps shall not be less than 150mm and side lap 75mm. Polymeric water proofing membrane should be five layered with centre core as 90 micron high molecular high density polyethylene film, min weight 3 Kg per sqm & minimum 3mm thick reinforced with polyster non wove fabric, APP membrane shall laid acorss the slop from lowest line of sloping roof towards ridge.(e) Over the APP membrane, apply a coat of semi hot blown 85/25 penetration grade bitumen confirming to IS-702 @1.20 Kg/ sqm and blinded with fine sand in dry condition @ 0.50 Kg / Sqm dusted over the bitumen coat. Note : (i) Care shall be taken to avoid wrinkle and air gaps while sticking membrane to the bitumen applied surface. (ii) Ponding test shall be conducted for 72 hrs as directed.(iii) Rate of PPC leveling course and WPC shall be included in the quoted rate.. 2 Taking down cement plaster of any description in any position incl racking out joints hacking for key, scrubbing down with water etc and removal of debris from site, complete all as specified and directed. 3 M & L rendering 20mm thick on stone wall or emulsion for Post Constructional Antitermite Treatment Along the external wall below concrete or masonry apron using chemical emulsion @ 2.25 litres per linear metre including drilling and plugging
