    Tender For Construction Of Permanent Campus For Iit Palakkad Under Phase 1A - Sh: Furniture & Fittings Sw: Fabrication And Installation Of Furniture For The Computer Lab At B03-101, Computer System Lab At B03-222 & Flag Lab At B03-225 Of B03 Department Building - Sahyadri Campus Fabrication and installation of Modular Computer Lab table as per the following specifi cations: Table Top: Fabricated from 18 mm thick pre-laminated Medium Density Fibreboard (MDF), conforming to IS:14587-1998, with 2 mm PVC edge banding. Dimensions and layout as per the reference drawing IITPKD/EWD/B03/CT/02. Under Structure and Frame: Constructed using CRCA sections of 50 x 50 x 2.1 mm thickness. The frame shall be powder coated with epoxy polyester powder coating, 80 microns DFT. Structure to include support frame beneath the tabletop and leg-rest support with provision for running cable trays. Modular design with bolted assembly system, enabling installation as per approved layout. Cable Tray and Supporting Mechanism Cable tray fabricated from 18-gauge CRCA sheet, installed with suitable supporting arrangements as per the attached drawing. Provision to accommodate both LAN ports and electrical sockets. Electrical and LAN Provisions Each unit of the table (of size 1200 mm x 600 mm) shall be provided with the following fi ttings as per the drawing IITPKD/EWD/B03/CT/02: Electrical Outlets – 2 Nos. 5A Multi-standard 3-pin Sockets – 1 No. 15A 3-pin Multi-standard Socket – 2 Nos. 16A Switches with Indicator mounted on an 8-module sheet Data Communication Outlet – 1 No. Ethernet RJ45 Port – 1 No. Dummy RJ45 Port mounted on a 2-module sheet Ethernet Socket RJ45 Ports – 1 No. and 1 No. dummy port on 2-module sheet. (Approved Makes: Legrand Myrius 673043 / Schneider / Siemens) Note: Cabling/wiring for electrical sockets and network jacks are excluded from the present scope of work.
