Tender For Periodical Services To Md Accommodation Of Age B/R-I (North) Under Ge (N) Ambala Cantt.; 1 Material and labour for 10 mm thick rendering or plastering using polymer modified ready mix plaster of fine grade Portland cement, graded sand and polymer with water soluble additives as per manufactures specifications ofapproved make, on any faces of brick work or concrete ceiling or chajja surfaces and finished even and smooth without using extra cement, complete, all as specified and as directed by the Engineer–in charge. Make:- Smart care ready mix plaster of Asian paint or equivalent in Berger/Ultra tech/Pidilite 2 Dismantling reinforced cement concrete asinsuspended slabs,beams, lintels etc. in cement mortar or cement concrete (reinforcement cut as required to facilitate demolition) complete,all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. 3 Material and labour for providing reinforced cement concrete M-25 (design mix)using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregates as in slabs supported on walls, beams and columns in floors, roofs, landings, balconies, canopies, deck slabs and in shelves and the like complete,all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. 4 Material and labour for TMT steel bars 10mm dia and over cut to length, bent to shape required incl cranking, bending, spirally for hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire annealed not less than 0.9mm dia complete, all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. 5 Taking down cement or cement lime plaster of any description on brick or stone walls, etc. including racking out joints, hacking for key scrubbing down with water, etc. complete, all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge 6 Material and labour for rendering 15 mm thick on brick work or concrete wall surfaces in patches( Area of each patch not exceeding 2.00 sqm), any height, in cement mortar 1:4and finished the surface even and smooth without using extra cement complete, all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. 7 Material and labour for 15 mm thick rendering or plastering using polymer modified ready mix plaster of fine grade Portland cement, graded sand and polymer with water soluble additives as per manufactures specifications ofapproved make, on any faces of brick work or concrete wall surfaces and finished even and smooth without using extra cement, complete, all as specified and as directed by the Engineer–in charge. Make:- Smart care ready mix plaster of Asian paint or equivalent in Berger/Ultra tech/Pidilite 8 Material and labour for 05 mm thick rendering or plastering using polymer modified ready mix plaster of fine grade Portland cement, graded sand and polymer with water soluble additives as per manufactures specifications ofapproved make, on any faces ofconcrete ceiling or chajja surfaces and finished even and smooth without using extra cement, complete, all as specified and as directed by the Engineer–in charge. Make:- Smart care ready mix plaster of Asian paint or equivalent in Berger/Ultra tech/Pidilite 9 Material and labour for rough cast plaster complete as specified in SSR Part-I, clause 14.22 shall consisting of following:- firstly apply under coat in cement mortar 1:4 not less than 10 mm thick and while still it is in plastic state the rough cast mixture consisting of crushed stone or fine stone aggregate of size between 6 to 12 mm as per the texture required mixed with coarse sand and cement in the ratio 1:1:1 shall be applied, complete, all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. 10 Material and labour for preparation of new plastered/unplastered surfaces of walls,etc. and applyingtwo coats of cement base paint over a coat chalk whiting complete, all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. 11 Material and labourfor preparation of new plastered/unplastered surfaces and applyingthree coats of white lime wash on surfaces of ceiling, complete, all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. 12 Dismentling of brick work built in cement mortar or cement lime mortar including all quoins, arches,pillar, etc. but excluding ashlar facing, dressed stone work and precast concrete articles complete, all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. 13 Material and labour for brick work with sub class B old size bricks straight or curved on plan exceeding 6 metre mean radius built in cement mortar (1:6) complete, all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. 14 Material and labour for preparation of old decorated brick/concrete, plastered / unplastered surfaces of wallby brooming down with steel wire brushing, scrapping down smoke soot, moulds, moss and efflorescent salts and trading oil and greasy spots andapplying one coat of white lime wash onprepared surfaces ofwalletc., up to height of double storey bldg, complete, all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. 15 Material and labour preparation of old decorated brick/concrete, plastered / unplastered surfaces of walls by brooming down or steel wire brushing, scrapping down smoke soot, moulds, moss and efflorescent salts and trading oil and greasy spots andapplying one coat ofcement base paint on the wall, pillars, cornices, etc., any height, complete, all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. 16 Material and labour for preparation of old decorated brick/concrete, plastered / unplastered surfaces of walls by brooming down with steel wire brushing, scrapping down smoke soot, moulds, moss and efflorescent salts and trading oil and greasy spots andapplying one coat of acrylic distemperwith painting roller over prepared surfaces ofwalls pillars, cornices etc.complete, all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. 17 Material and labour for preparation of old decorated brick/concrete, plastered / unplastered surfaces of ceilingby brooming down with steel wire brushing, scrapping down smoke soot, moulds, moss and efflorescent salts and trading oil and greasy spots andapplying one coat of white lime wash onprepared surfaces ofceilingetc. complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. 18 Material and labour for preparation of oldwoodensurfacesof any description, not otherwise described, over 10 cm width or girth and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint complete, all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. 19 Material and labour for preparation old painted steel surfaces of any description not otherwise described over 10 cm width or girth and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint, complete, all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. 20 Material and labour for complete removal of existing treatment (any number of layers) using appropriate technique as approved by EIC for complete removal of all layers of old treatment and reaching upto old plastered surface of walls, pillars, cornices, etc., and apply one or two coats of wall care puttyand applying two coats of cement base paint over a coat of chalkwhitingcomplete, all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.Note- The quoted rate include cement base painting on walls, pillars, chajjas, cornices, etc. upto 7.5 metre height or double storey. 21 Material and labour for complete removal of existing treatment (any number of layers) using appropriate technique as approved by EIC for complete removal of all layers of old treatment and reaching upto old plastered surface of walls, pillars, cornices, etc.,over and including 1 to 2 mm thick water proof putty white cement based in one or two coats to achieve smooth surfaces and applying two coats of acrylic distemper over one coat of primer with painting roller, complete, all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. 22 Material and labour for complete removal of existing treatment (any number of layers) using appropriate technique as approved by EIC for complete removal of all layers of old treatment and reaching upto old plastered surface of ceiling andapplying two coat of white lime wash complete, all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. 23 Material and labour forpreparation of old decorated woodensurfacesof any description, not otherwise described, over10 cm width or girth and applying two coat of synthetic enamel paintcomplete, all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. 24 Material and labour for preparation of old decorated steelsurfacesof any description, not otherwise described, over10 cm width or girth and applying two coat of synthetic enamel paintcomplete, all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. 25 Material and labour for complete removal of existing treatment (any number of layers) on brick/concrete, plastered / un--plastered surfaces of wallsand applying 1 to 2 mm thick water proof putty white cement based in one or two coats to achieve smooth surfaces andapplying two coats of exterior acrylic emulsionpaint over a coat of alkaline resistant primer with painting roller over prepared surfaces complete, all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.Note- The quoted rate include exterior acrylic emulsionpaint on walls, pillars, chajjas, etc. upto 7.5 metre height or double storey. 26 NOTES FOR SRL ITEM NO. 25: (i) The work shall be got executed through authorised applicator of manufacturer of Asian paint Ltd/ Jenson & Nicholson India Ltd/ Kansal Nerolac Paints Ltd/ ICI Painta Ltd. For this contractor shall entre into a triparty agreement between contractor, the authorised dealer of pain manufacturer and their authorised applicator and a valid MoU on Non Judicial Stamp paper of Rs 100/- (Format of MoU is enclosed for reference) towards same is to be submitted to GE within 28 days after acceptance. The work shall be commenced after submission of MoU to GE.(ii) Before proceeding with the finishes the stages (a) Complete removal of old finish. (b) Applying water proof putty (iii) First coat of finish shall be inspected and approved by Engineer in Charge. This approval is to be documented in a stage passing register, which shall be maintained at site and signed jointly by the contractor & Engineer in Charge.(iii) For removal of old finish and preparation of surface mechanical means like JET washer, metal scrapper, sending machines etc shall be deployed to achieve better surface.(iv) The work shall be got executed through authorized applicator of manufacturer’s Asian Paint Ltd/ Jenson & Nicholson India Ltd/ Kansai Nerolac Paints Ltd/ Berger Paints India Ltd/ICI Paints ltd. 27 Material and labour for removing & taking out shrubs, vegetation, roots, plants etc. from brick work/ PCC/RCC etc. area exceeding 01 Sqm but not exceeding 03 Sqm each, by cutting holes in brick work/ PCC/RCC depth exceeding half brick & not exceeding one brick thick including taking down dismantling CI/PVC rain water pipes/ SWR pipes etc and refixing the same after removal of vegetation, roots & plants etc.and making good the surface/dismantled portion in cement mortar (1:3) or PCC (1:2:4) type B0 (using 12.50mm graded crushed stone aggregate) complete, all as specified & directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. 28 Taking down eaves gutters and rainwater pipes (any size or pattern), including all fittings, heads, shoes, bends, swan-necks, etc., including cleaning for refixing or removal to Store (measured overall as fixed along the centre line over fittings and accessories) complete, all as specified & directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. 29 Supply and fixing 110mm diaUPVC, soil waste drain pipe, type ‘A’ ,conforming toIS 13592-1992, single socketed, in any length with rubber rings joints or jointed with solvent cement joint, fixed to wall, complete, all as specified anddirected by the Engineer-in-Charge..(Note- Rubber rings for pipes and fittings shall be confirm to IS 5382-1985) 30 All as per serial No. 29 here in before but except pipe, complete, all as specified anddirected by the Engineer-in-Charge..(Note- The serviceable rain water pipe obtained from Serial item No- 28 shall be used) complete, all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. 31 Supply and fixing110 mm bore UPVC (SWR) plain bend any radius including jointing with solvent cement, complete, all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. 32 Supply and fixing350mm long, ‘C’ shaped MS clamps made out of flat iron 40x3mm fixed on wall with 2Nos, 10mm dia 100mm long fastener including two coat of synthetic paint over a coat of primer complete, all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. 33 Material and labour for preparing new plastered surfaces of walls, pillars, cornices etc and applying two coats of acrylic distemper over a coat of primer complete all as specified and as directed. 34 Hacking out old broken glass (any thickness, size, quality or description) from wooden frames or stone, concrete or brick surrounds and steel window frame glazed with putty or fixed with beads complete, all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. 35 Material and labour for sheet glass 4.0mm thick ordinary qualityin squareexc 0.5 sqm in each pane fixed to aluminium frame work with glazing clips, rubber packing, etc., glazing with oil putty to steel window and with wooden beads to wooden shutters, complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. 36 S & F in repair stainless steel wire cloth. 0.36mm nominal dia of wire and average width of aperture 1.40mm and fixed to steel frames using new nuts/screws as required. 37 Supply and fixing shear connectors of mild steel 8mm dia by drilling 12mm dia holes, 50mm deep 500mm C/C , cleaning the holes by blower pump or water injector and filling holes using Likfix ‘S’ polyester resin based grout manufactured by fosroc chemicals or equivalent as approved by GE, complete, all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. 38 Note:-Amount of credit ofRs. 6,895.00 for retrieved materials is mentioned in Schedule of Credit Page No.102 of tender documents in pdf form which will be deducted offline while acceptance of tender.
