Tender For Replacement Of Roof Sheet And Painting Roof Trusses Of Indoor Hall, Sports Complex Building At Vidyanagari Campus, University Of Mumbai-400098- 1 Removing G.I. orA.C. sheet roofing includingpurlins, principal rafters etc. including sortingserviceable and unserviceable materials, stacking the same as and where directed in the compound including scaffolding etc. complete. 2 Providing and fixing corrugated galvanised iron sheets of 0.63mm thick (24 B.W.G.) for roofingwithoutwindtiles includingfasteningwithgalvanisedironscrews and bolts, lead and bitumenwashers as per drawing etc. complete.(Weight of 5.5 Kilogram/sq.m.). 3 Removing the existing cement plaster of any thickness without causing dust nuisance and stacking the debris upto a distance of 50 metres or spreading in the compound and cleaning the site etc. complete. Note : Following items to be executed after prior approval of Superintending Engineer. 4 Providing sand faced plaster externally in cement mortar using approved screened sand, in all positionsincludingbasecoatof15mmthickincementmortar1:4usingwaterproofing compound at 1Kilogramper cement bag curing the same for not less than 2 days and keeping thesurfaceofthebasecoatroughtoreceivethesandfaced treatment6to 8mm thickin cement mortar 1:4 finishing the surface by taking outgrains and curing for fourteen days scaffolding etc.complete. 5 Removing any kind of debris including loading in truck and conveying to dumping point approved by MCGM, unloading, spreading etc. complete. (SSR Transportation page no.362) (Note: rate to be reduced proportionally, if lead is within 50 km). 6 Lowering down the debris obtained from breaking and removing the cement plaster / burnt brick masonry of the first floor by any means without causing dust nuisance and damage to structure, stacking the same as and where directed including cleaning the site complete 7 Removing old paint from steel and other metal surfaces and making the surfaces even with hand scrapping, scaffolding etc. complete. 8 Providing and applyingpriming coat over new/old steel and other metal surfaces includingpreparing the surface by thoroughly cleaning oil, grease, dirt and other foreignmatter andscouredwithwire brushes, fine steel wool, scrappers and sand paper, scaffolding etc. complete. 9 Dismantling brick masonry in lime or cement mortar and stacking thematerils as directed with all leads, lifts etc. 10 Providingsecond class Burnt Brickmasonrywith conventional/ I.S. type bricks in cementmortar 1:6 in superstructure including striking joints, raking out joints, watering and scaffolding etc. Complete 11 Providing and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint of approved colour to new/old structural steelwork and woodwork in buildings, including scaffolding if necessary, cleaning and preparing the surface (excluding primer coat) etc. complete.
