Maintenance Of Govt. Primary School Arumanai In Arumanai Town Panchayat.- 1 Dismantling the existing damaged brick wall portion clearing away and carefully taking material useful for reuse for any thickness of concrete including all cost etc. as per standard specification. 2 Dismantling the existing damaged pressed tiles portion clearing away and carefully taking material useful for reuse for any thickness of concrete including all cost etc. as per standard specification. 3 Cement concrete of mix 1:1½:3 (one part of cement one and a half part of crushed stone sand and three part of aggregates) using 6 mm gauge machine broken granite stone jelly for foundation including de watering if found necessary and laid in layers of not more than 15 cm thick well rammed and consolidated etc complying with SS. 4 Paving floor with vitrified tiles (marbonite) in all floors over the base layer of cement mortar 1:3 (one par of cement three part of sand) 20 mm thick pointed with white cement at 0/40 kg/m2 including finishing the joints etc complete, as directed by the departmental officers (The rate should be exclusive of cost of flooring concrete 1:5) special. 5 Laying with new C.C. Laminated tiles (Like Dora tiles Eurocon tiles etc), (anti skid) of 20 mm thick of approved special quality and set in Cement Mortar 1:3 (one part of cement and three part of sand) 20 mm. Thick using river sand and pointing with colour cement using at the rate of 0.40 kg/m² and mixing with colour pigment at the rate of 0.3 Kg/m² including finishing complete with Standard Specification and as directed by the Departmental Officers. 6 Earth work excavation for foundation and depositing on bank with in the initial lead of 10m and a lift of 2m in hard stiff clay, stiff block cotton, hard red earth, shales, murram, gravel, stoney earth and earth mixed with small size boulders etc complete complying with SS20B. TNDSS No:23&24 7 Cement concrete of mix 1:4:8 (one part of cement four part of sand and eight part of aggregates) using 40 mm gauge machine broken granite stone jelly for foundation including de watering if found necessary and laid in layers of not more than 15 cm thick well rammed and consolidated etc complying with standard specification. TNDSS No:28 8 Dadooing the walls with plain glazed tiles of 150 x 150 x 6 mm set in cement mortar 1:2 (one part of cement two part of sand) 12 mm and pointing white cement used 4kg/m2 neatly etc complete as directed. 9 Supply and fixing in position best quality of approved make Wash hand basinof size 550 x 440 mm with all accessories such as cast iron brackets, including cost of 15 mm Ø brass nipple, 15 mm nylon connection etc including fixing the wash basin in the wall in position with a pair of CI brackets with TW plug and screws and giving necessary water supply connection and painting the brackets with two coats of paint over priming coat of anticorrosive paint including testing leakages etc, complete complying with standard specifications (the wash hand basin and the specials should be got approved by Departmental officer before use on works) 10 Supplying and fixing Cement Hallow Brick in cement mortar 1:5 mix using new best quality cement hollow bricks of size 15 x 4 x 8 from approved quarryincluding cost and conveyance of all materials to site, loading and unloading charges and labour charges for mixing, laying and curing etc complete. 11 Plastering walls with cement mortar 1:4 (one part of cement four part of sand) 12 mm thick including all cost and conveyance of all materials and all labour charges etc. complete as per standard specification. TNDSS No:61 12 Supplying, delivery and fixing in position of following PVC / GI pipes and specials of approved quality and good variety excluding fixing charges etc complete. 32 mm PVC pipe 13 32 mm PVC tee 14 32 mm PVC elbow 15 32 mm PVC bend 16 25 mm PVC tap 17 32 mm GM gate valve 18 Wiring with 2 x 1.5 sq.mm. PVC insulated SC unsheathed FRLS copper conductor cable of 1100V grade in suitable heavy gauge MS conduit pipe on wall and ceiling with MS accessorieswith switch box with 5A FT switch inflush with wall and covered with hylum sheet of 3mm thick with painting of suitable colour with continuous earth wire connection of 1.5 sq.mm. copper wire for light point / fan point (for electronic regulator) SD 2 19 Wiring with 2 x 1.5 sq.mm. PVC insulated SC unsheathed FRLS copper conductor cable of 1100V grade in suitable heavy gauge MS conduit pipe on wall and ceiling with MS accessorieswith switch box with 5A FT switch inflush with wall and covered with hylum sheet of 3mm thick with painting of suitable colour with continuous earth wire connection of 1.5 sq.mm. copper wire for light point / fan point (for electronic regulator) SD 2 20 Wiring with 2 x 1.5 sq.mm. PVC insulated single core unsheathed FRLS copper conductor cable of 1100V grade in suitable heavy gauge MS conduit pipe on wall and ceiling with MS accessories with 150mm x 100mm x 75mm MS switch box inflush with wall with 3mm thick hylum sheet cover for 5A 3pin non interlocking flush type CS plug with painting of suitable colour with continuous earthwire connection of 1.5 sq.mm. copper wire for open plug point SD 11 21 Brick work in cement mortar 1:5 (one part of cement five part of sand) mix using best country bricks of size 8¾x4¼x2¾ from approved quarry including curing, cost and conveyance of all materials to site and all labour charges etc complete as per standard specification. 22 Roofing with GI Sheet 30 cm wide and 1.6 mm thick roofing using corrugated 18 Gauge GI sheet both direction using J & U bolt and washers including cost of sheet and angle and all specials and all labour charges etc. complete as per standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers. 23 Painting the old walls two coats over one coat of priming with best cement paint of approved colour and quality including preparation of surface and finishing neatly etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the department officers. 24 Ceiling plastering and finishing all RCC exposed surface such as RCC slabs, sunshade canopies, stair case steps, landing slab, etc. with cement mortar 1:3 (one part of cement three part of sand) 10 mm thick including packing the surface and provided necessary cement mortar nosing, headings as per the size specification wherever necessary using the same mix as directed by the departmental officers etc. complete complying with standard specification. 25 Painting the old wood work or plastered surface two coats in all floors with best synthetic enamel paint of approved quality, colour and brand to be approved by departmental officer before use on works. A over one coat of appropriate primer, including ordinary scrapping, sand papering and preparation of surface including coat of brushes, high scaffolding charges neat finishing complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers. 26 Random rubble masonry in cement mortar 1:5 mix (one part of cement and five part of sand) using new best rough and bond stones from approved quarry including cost and conveyance of all materials to site. Loading and unloading charges and labour charges for mixing, laying and curing etc complete complying with standard specifications. 27 Supplying and fixing of steel window with suitable design including cost of materials, welding and conveyance of all materials to site locking arrangements and painting one coat of primer etc complete as per standard specification including fixing charges etc. complete for the work. 28 Supplying and fixing of steel door with suitable design including cost of materials, welding and conveyance of all materials to site locking arrangements and painting one coat of primer etc complete as per standard specification including fixing charges etc. complete for the work.
