Rectification Of Electrical Safety Defects- Earth Electrode Maintenance and Identification :- • Inspection, maintenance, and identification of all earth electrodes at the point of supply and transformer area.• Cleaning, tightening, corrosion removal, and testing of earth resistance.• Fixing of durable identification labels inside respective earth troughs.• Submission of updated drawings and test reports. 2 Replacement and Recommissioning of Lightning Protection System :- • Dismantling existing lightning arrestor from 40 m tower.• Supply and installation of new lightning arrestor with associated hardware.• Inspection, reconditioning, and refilling of earth pit with replacement of electrode if required.• Testing and submission of resistance test report ≤ 5 ohms 3 Replacement of Old Industrial-Type Switchboards with Cubicle-Type Panels (CEIG Compliant) :- • Conduct site inspection and prepare detailed estimates and drawings.• Submit proposal for approval; work to proceed only after written approval is obtained.• Dismantling and safe disposal of existing industrial-type switchboards.• Design, manufacture, and supply of factory-built, metal-clad cubicle-type switchboards as per IS/IEC standards.• Installation including busbar systems, cable terminations, earthing connections, and safety interlocks.• Coordination with CEIG for submission of statutory drawings/documents, facilitating inspection, incorporating compliance remarks, and obtaining final energization approval. 4 Affixing of Danger Notice Boards on DBs and Panels :- • Site-wide identification of metallic enclosures lacking Danger Boards.• Supply and affixing of IS:2551-compliant enameled Danger Notices.• post-installation verification and submission of photographic compliance report. 5 Periodic Dehydration and Refilling of Silica Gel in Transformer Breathers :-• Visual inspection, removal, dehydration, and refilling of silica gel.• Reinstallation of breather with correct oil level and sealing.• Maintenance tagging and documentation of service records. 6 Insulation and Safety Covering of Exposed Live Terminals in Generator Panel and all DBs in service :- • Inspection and covering of exposed busbars in 500 kVA generator panel.• Use of fire-retardant, high-dielectric strength insulating sheets.• Functional verification, safety labelling, and documentation. 7 Rectification and Standardization of Distribution Boards (DBs) :- • Closing of exposed spare ways using dummy plates.• Affixing IS:2551-compliant Danger stickers.• Painting circuit details inside DB doors.• Serial numbering and tagging of DBs.• Earthing of DB metallic door frames and continuity testing.• Final reporting with photos, circuit directories, and test values.
