| 2 | M&L for Applying evenly a priming/tack coat with paving bitumen VG-10 @ 5Kg per 10 Square Metre on black topsurface. complete all as specified and directed.Note: Tack coat shall be applied with mechanical sprayer complete all as specified & as directed. |
| 3 | M&L for semi dense bituminous asphaltic concrete 40 mm (consolidated thickness) using crushed stone aggregate premixed with binder (paving grade bitumen VG-30 grade) @ 5.5 % by weight of total mix and hydrated lime filler, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient complete all as specified and as direted by Engr-in-Charge.(Note : - (i)Bituminous premix asphaltic concrete shall be laid using self propelled hydrastatic paver.(ii)Preparation of mix shall be using hot mix plant and transporting in tipper .(iii)Rolling shall be done in three stages as per clause 5.6.2 of IRC 111:2009 using 9 to 10 tonnes dead weight or vibratory steel wheel roller, pneumatic rollar of 12 to 15 tonnes and finally 6 to 8 tonnes smooth wheel rollars . |
| 4 | Repair to potholes any depth, not exc 1 sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc. cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth, making good by filling in screened & graded road metal, watering and well ramming rolled and compacted with 8 to 10 ton power roller to required camber /gradient complete all as specified and as directed. |
| 5 | Scarifying or picking gravelled, macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces exc 50 mm and not exc 100 mm in deep, area not exc400 sqm each including rolling over the brpken surfaces with 8 to 10 ton power roller to required camber /gradient complete all as specified and as directed. |
| 6 | M & L for 7.5 cm thick (compacted thickness) WBM, with coarse aggregates of granite, trap or basalt of grading 2 (63 to 45 mm size) or of grading 3 (53 to 22.4 mm size), spread, rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber complete all as specified and as directed. |
| 7 | All as per item No 6 above but except materials. (Note:- Materials will be get from Item No 5 here in above.) |

Note :- (i)Bitumin macadam shall be laid using self propelled hydrastatic paver finisher. (ii)Preparation of mix shall be using hot mix plant and transporting in tipper. |
| 10 | M & L for preparing bituminous surfaces of roadand marking 2.5mm thick strips (retro reflective) of specific shade/colour using hot thermoplastic materials by full/semi automatic thermoplastic paint applicator machine fitted with profilr shoe glass beads dispenser, propane tank heater and profile shoe heater, driven by experience operator on road surfaces including cleaning of all dirts, seals, oils, grease and foregin materials etc. complete all as specified anddirected. |
