Conservation Renovation And Restoration Of Pollachi Revenue Divisional Office At Coimbatore District.- 1 Providing two legged scaffolding using 48.30mm dia heavy duty MS pipe over all height of 3.00m the distance between 2 legs being 1.25m andthe spacing of the post being 2m in each rows and providing platform with C.W. planks using 40mm thick silver oak and 1.00m wide in complete form with horizontal bracings @ 1.50m c/c vertical direction and with cross bracings using same 48.30mm dia including cutting, threading assembly with red oxide primer, labour charges cost of specials such on large plate, shoe, carcher, coupling, bolt and nut transportation charges.The bottom of vertical post shall rest on 300x300x70mm 1:2:4 concrete base etc complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers. 2 For Initial height of 3m 3 For every additional 2.5m height 4 Dismantling clearing away the damaged Mangalore Tiled Roof Over Pan Tiles Without Roof Timber and carefully stacking materials useful for reuse etc,as directed by the departmental officers as per standard specification 5 Dismantling of damaged and undulated flooring and conveying debries from all floors to ground level outside the mahal etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers. 6 Dismantling of brick jelly lime concrete flooring of any thickness and conveying by dolly and stacking the useful stone for reuse etc., 7 Dismantling and clearing away carefully and stacking materials useful for reuse the cracked/ dislodged brick wall of the building and to dispose debris etc complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers. 8 Ground floor 9 Dismantling clearing away the DOORS AND WINDOWS including removal of frames,hinges and fastening etc., complete complying as directed by the departmental officers as per standard specification. 10 Carefully removing and clearing away carefully and stacking materials useful for reuseof the decayed wooden beam/joist/girder in roofing in all floors by carefully dislodging at ends and top including making necessary notches or openings in the wall on either side of joist, beam to enable it removed etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers. 11 Removal of the existing detoriated lime plastering over the wall, arches, domes and special type of ceiling of Madras terraced type roof carefully without disturbing or damaging the rafters, etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers. 12 Laying Brick jelly lime concrete in lime mortar 1:2 ( One lime and two brick jelly ) (no sandto be added) using 20 mm gauge brick jelly for foundation, flooring including dewateringwherever necessary and laid in layers well rammed, consolidated etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers. 13 Reconstruction of brick masonry wall with similar type ofBrick work in lime mortar 1:2 (one lime two sand) usingwire cut brick of size 9x4x3(Specially manufacturing) and using Pollachi lime in all floors as per traditional preparation and doCu.mented typesuch as arches and lintels, walls, etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers. 14 Ground floor 15 Teakwood wrought & putup for joist, beam, rafters and purlins,etc., which are in full length new member placed for supporting the Madras Terrace roof/ Mangalore tiles roof or any other area in all floor as directed by the departmental officers by using well seasonedsuperior quality and approved variety of teakwood for heritage building work including fixing of iron holdfasts incase of doors, windows and ventilators etc.,and excluding cost of holdfasts and making necessary size holes in the masonry to receive the ends of wooden joists, beams, etc., all fixtures and fastenings etc., complete. Item to include all moulding(The rate includes the cost of teakwood, labour charges for wrought and putup to theexisting clue/design, fixing in position to true alignment and gradient wherever necessary. Complying with standard specifications and as directed by the departmental officers 16 Reroofing with Heritage mangalore tiles over Galvanised sheet in Teak wood reepers of size (50x12mm) using lime in all floors for Brick masonry band with mangalore tiles, including Teak wood reepers of size (50x12mm) complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers.(The rate includes the cost of all materials like Mangalore tiles,Galvanised sheet,and labour charges for laying of Mangalore tiles with Galvanised sheet roof in position). 17 Supplying and stacking new best Heritage Ridge tilesat site of work for premeasurementas directed by the departmental officers, etc., complete. 18 Supplying and fixing best quality of Bison cement bonded particle Board 10mm thickncluding labour charges for fixing the board including painting charges etc. complete complying with standard specification. 19 Racking out the brick joints of walls, arches, etc.,to a depth of approximately 5cm a wall thickness of 45cm and above to remove the dead mortar in between the brickfo joints and cleaning the surface with coir brush and washed with pure water etc complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers. 20 Pointing,grouting and filleting the brick joint of wall and arches with lime mortar 1:2(one of lime and two of sand) using Pollachi lime in all floorsetc., completecomplying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers. 21 Strengthening the existing walls by providing grouting by formation of holes of sizeStrengthening the existing walls by providing grouting by formation of two holes of size 1” with required intervals - depth of 350mm for an area of 1 sq.m and depending upon the site conditions injecting lime slurry consisting of lime mortar 1:2 (one lime and two of sand) using Pollachi lime in all floors added with grouting admixture by 2% weight of lime, by using required equipment and the rate includes the cost of all materials,labour charges etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers 22 Replastering ( base plastering) the brick wall, pillars and arches of mahal building with lime mortar 1:2 ( one of lime and two of sand)to a thickness of 30 mm as per existing construction including erection & dismantling , curing etc.,complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers. 23 Applying thin coat of hand grinded lime mortar paste in lime mortar 1:1.5 (one lime and one and half sand) 6mm thick using Pollachi lime in all floors ( mix should be with 5.9 kg of jaggery, 2 kg of glue, 1.1 kg of gallnut, 1.4 kg of oakum, 30 nos eggs, 1 litre curd, 3 kg white marble powder, 0.5 kg vajram, 0.06m3 of surki, (for 10 sq.m area) of mugal plastering ( Theervai) over the newly plastered surface as per the existing clues (including finishing the surface with smoothness) `etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers. ( For inner walls) 24 Renewing and fixing teak wood panelled Door shutters openable type by using wellseasoned teak wood of superior quality and approved variety as per the original designand pattern instructed by the Engineer in charge. The door shutter is made with two number of 120mmx40mm size vertical styles, top rail, lock rails and bottom rails of size125mmx40mm,250mm x 40mm, 170mmx40mm respectively. The door shutter panels is covered with teak wood planks of 25mm thick including all necessary fittings brass/ steel hardwares like screws, nails, hinges, hooks, tower bolts, handle, aldrops of same design of the design, size etc complete. item to also include making all the mouldings and panels as in the existing evidence. item to include complete finishing of the shutters as directed by the departmental officer. (The rate inclusive of cost of all teak wood materials, Labour wrought and putup of door frames and shutters, cost of all furniture fittings, labour charges for fixing inposition etc., complete complying with standard specifications. (Two Leaves). 25 Easing and repairing hanging doors, window shutters and refixing the same after attending the petty repairs including fixing furniture fittings and excluding cost of furniture fittings etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers. 26 Renewing and fixing fully glazed shutters for windows openable type by using well seasoned teakwood of superior quality as per the original design and pattern instructed by the Engineer In Charge. The window shutter is madeof vertical styles of size 80mm x 30mm. Both top and bottom rail is of size 80mm x 30mm. The window shutter panels is covered with 4mm thick plain glass which is fixed with teakwood reepers scantling of size 35mm x 30mm on both sides and the glass panel is divided into 6 parts. Item to also include making all the mouldings and design of the panels as in the existing evidence. Item to include complete finishing of the shutters as directed by the departmental officers.(The rate inclusive of cost of all teakwood materials, labour wrought and putup of door shutters, cost of all furniture fittings, cost of 4mm thick plain glass, labour charges for fixing the shutters in position etc., complete complying with standard specifications) 27 Making, supplying and fixing of panelled window of size 1.65x2.10m with Teak wood window shutter is made with two number of 75mmx35mm size vertical styles, top rail, lockrails and bottom rail of size 80mmx35mm,200mmx35mm, 129mmx25mm respectively .The window shutter panels is covered with teak wood planks of 35mm thick including all necessary fittings brass/steel hardwaraes like screws, nails, hinges, hooks, tower bolts, handle, aldrops of same design, size etc complete. item to also include making all themouldings and design of the panels as in the existing evidence. item to include complete finishing of the shutters as directed by the departmental officer. (The rate inclusive of cost of all teak wood materials, Labour wrought and putup of door frames and shutters, costof all furniture fittings, labour charges for fixing inposition etc., complete complying with standard specifications). 28 Making, supplying and fixing of glazed ventilator with new Teak wood glazed ventilator of size 1.20x0.60mby using Teak wood scanting thickness of size 0.04m frames fixed with 4mm thick pin headed glass including labour for wrought put up and fixing the ventilator in position with necessary furniture fittings including finishing the Ventilator with one coat of primer and finishing neatly etc., complete complying with standard specifications and as directed by the departmental officers. 29 Relaying of new cut stone flooring with stone ofThickness 75mm ( Fully dresseed of size on all faces) over bed of existing brick jelly concrete in lime mortar 1:2 ( one of lime and two of sand) 40mm thick using pollachi lime in all florrs and pointing the stone joints with same lime mortar etc., complete complying with standard specification are directed by the department officers. 30 Paving the floor with best quality Heritage pattern Cement tileofsize 200x 200 mm of approved colour, shade and quality laid in cement mortar 1:3 (one cement and three sand) 20mm thick in all floors and the top pointed with the white cementmixed same colour pigments etc., complete complying with standard specification. (The design of the tiles should be got approved by the EE before use on works) 31 Cleaning cut stones using mild hydrofloric acid and powder and water pressureetc., complete complying with standard specification are directed by the department officers. 32 Painting two coats of ready mixed Exterior Emulsion Paint of first class quality and of approved colour over a priming coat including thorough scrapping, clean removal of dirt,and including necessary plaster of paris putty, wherever required etc., complete complying with standard specification. 33 Revarnishing the old wood work with two coatsofbest melamine varnish of approved quality and brand including preparation of surface etc. The rate is inclusive cost of all materials, labour charges and finishing neatly etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers etc. complete. 34 Labour charge for removing painting in TW joist , beams , doors , windows etc., as per std specification 35 Painting new wood work with two finishing coats of synthetic enamel ready mixed paint of approved quality and colour over one coat priming coat in all floors including the cost of primer etc., complete complying with standard specification. (The make, quality and colour of paint should be got approved by the Executive Engineer before use on works.) 36 Collecting the scattered debris from the campus and conveying away the same to outside by lorry to a lead of 6KM including loading and unloading charges and dumping in low places and leveling etc., complete. 37 Clean removal of saline action over the stone pillars, brick walls etc., with paper pulp treatment by using floating paper, deionized water, plastic bucket, coir , brush etc., complete complying with standard specifications as per directed by the departmental officers 38 Construction of mortar pit of inner size 0.90mx0.45m with brick partition wall thick in cement mortar 1:3 (one cement and three sand) for 60 cm height with necessary earth work open excavation for size of 1.43m x 0.98m to a depth of 0.91m and sand filling for 15 cm thick, Plain Cement Concrete 1:5:10 (one cement, five sand and ten 40mm HBG stone jelly), 8 cm thick with plastering 1:5 (one cement and sand), 12mm thick11.50cm on both sides and top etc.. complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers 39 Providing pest control with antitermite treatement drilling holes at junction of walls with floors at 300mm intervals and injucting chemical emulsion on those with cement etc. making holes along the vertical surface out side the walls at 150mm intervals to the depth of 450mm pointing chemical emulsion into the holes and closing holes with chemical etc. spraying all surface of treatment is to be done as per IS code no:5313/ Part III 1981 with approved chemical. (The chemical is to be used on the work should be got approved by the Executive Engineer before use on work) etc complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers. 40 Supply and fixing the Eaves board and replacing the existing design and pattern and cost including cost of planks and labour charges etc., complete
