Tender For Construction Of Canteen Building For Inrpk, Barcf, Kalpakkam; 1 Trimming, Cutting and felling all types of trees girth beyond 60cm, up to and including 120cm, measured at 0.5m above ground level including cutting of trunks, branches and removing the roots and stacking of serviceable wood materials at places specified with a lead of 200m, disposal of unserviceable materials including filling the pits and depressions with excavated earth complete for trees of girth mentioned below complete all as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. 2 Trimming, Cutting and felling all types of trees girth beyond 120cm, up to and including 240cm, measured at 0.5m above ground level including cutting of trunks, branches and removing the roots and stacking of serviceable wood materials at places specified with a lead of 200m, disposal of unserviceable materials including filling the pits and depressions with excavated earth complete for trees of girth mentioned below complete all as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. 3 Trimming , Cutting and felling all types of trees girth above 240cm, measured at 0.5m above ground level including cutting of trunks, branches and removing the roots and stacking of serviceable wood materials at places specified with a lead of 200m, disposal of unserviceable materials including filling the pits and depressions with excavated earth complete for trees of girth mentioned below complete all as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. 4 Earthwork excavationby mechanical means (hydraulic excavator) or manual means for foundation, substructures, plinth beam & trenches all kind of foundation etc., in all typesof soil like hard gravelly soil, sandy soil for the following depth from average ground level upto the required founding level, line and grades in both dry and wet conditions including shoring, strutting , bailing out of water if necessary leveling and ramming the bottom of trenches, dressing of sides, stacking the excavated material away from the edge of the trenches, refilling the sides of the foundation as required with selected excavated earth and depositing / disposing the surplus excavated earth (disposedsoil to be leveled by breaking clods if any and neatly dressed and leveled) within the lead specified below all complete as per specifications and as directed by the site -in-charge. All kind of soft rock with depth exceeding 1.5m but not exceeding 3m below average Ground level and disposing surplus excavated earth upto a lead of 200 meters. 7 Earthwork excavation for foundation, substructures, plinth beam, cess pits & trenches, and all kind of foundation etc., in hard rock (by chiseling) for the following depth from average ground level upto the required line, level and grades in both dry and wet conditions including shoring. strutting, bailing out of water if necessary, levelling and ramming the bottom of trenches, dressing of sides, stacking the excavated materials away from the edge of trenches, refilling the sides of foundation as required with selected excavated earth and depositing/disposing the surplus earth (Disposed soil to be leveled by breaking clods, if any and neatly dressed and leveled ) with an lead specified below and stacking the hard rock boulders in a neatly leveled ground for measurement to departmental gauge all complete as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. All kind of hard of hard rock with depth exceeding 1.5m but not exceeding 3m below Ground level and disposing surplus excavated earth upto a lead of 200 meters 8 Dismantling of RCC works at all levels by manually / by mechanical means, including Cutting and stacking of steel reinforcement bars and disposal of unserviceable materials within 50m lead as per specifications and directed by the Engineer-in-charge. 9 Supplying and filling the foundation and basement with Quarry dust, filling in the layers of not more than 150mm thick, each layer well rammed and consolidated by hand/mechanical roller including watering, levelling, dressing the top surface to the required level complete all as per specification and as directed by Engineer. 10 Providing, laying, spreading and compacting graded stone aggregate to wet mix macadam specification including premixing the materials with water at OMC in mechanical mix plant carriage of mixed material by tipper to site, laying in uniform layers with paver in sub base / base course on well prepared surface and compacting with vibratory roller to achieve the desired density complete in all respects as per clause 406 of MoRT & H Specifications for road and bridge works ( 4th Revision ) and as directed by the Engineer -in - Charge. 11 Conveying the surplus excavated earth & debris boulders and spoil by mechanical means and depositing at place inside DAE installation identified as dumping yard as per requirement with a lead specified below including loading, unloading, breaking clods, levelling all complete as per specification and as directed by the Engineering-in-charge.Note: 1) The rates in respect of this item are applicable for the NET quantities arrived at after making deductions for voids @20% in respect of soil and 50% in respect of Rock from the corresponding stack / truck measurements 2) The earth shall be dammed well inside the damping yard not over approach pathway road. Leadcharges for lead Exceeding3 Kilometerbut not exceeding 4 Kilometer. 12 Supplying and injecting with approved quality chemical emulsion at the rates and concentrations as per IS 6313-2001 part II for preconstructional anti termite treatment and creating a chemical barir under and alrond the masonry pits, masonry foundations, wall trenches, plinth filling, junctions of wall and floor, expansion joints, surfaces of RCC works for a depth of min. 500mm from the finished ground level, surrounding of pipes, conduits etc., walls retaining soil above floor level, apron and drain along the perimetr of the building including all byeworks complete as per specification/IS 6313:2001 and direction of Engineer-in-charge. Only ground floor plinth area of the building will be measured for the payment in the following three stages. i) 20% after completeion of the foundations ii) 50% after completion of the ground floor flooring iii) 30% after completion of all treatment works including ground floor doors & windows. Work of be executed by M/s Pest Control (India) or any other approved agency and specified guarantee for 6 (Six) years shall be furnished b the tenderer. payment will be cleared only after submission of Guarantee. 13 Providing, straightening, decoiling wherever necessary bending, cutting, binding and fixing in position steel reinforcement TMT bars of Fe500 / Fe500D grade steel conforming to IS:1786 SAIL or VIZAG or approved equivalent make and tying with approved annealed binding wire of 1.6mm dia in all reinforced cement concrete work at all lifts, including cost of supplying and fixing the spacer/cover blocks in cement mortar 1:2 and binding wire complete all as per specification and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge at all lifts.Note: The rate shall be including the cost of reinforcement steel.The reinforcement steel will be procured from dealers with a test certificate as approved by the department.For further details please see Clause 11 of Section VIII, General Information for Guidance of Tenderers. 14 Supplying, fabricating, erecting and fixing in position at all levels, centering and shuttering to correct line and levels including strutting, propping, etc., with necessary bracings in all axes to give a stable assembly with provision for making the joints in the shuttering fully leak proof and with provision for fixing coil nuts with tie rods along with suitable channel for lateral supports and for inserts, projecting dowels, anchor bolts or any other fixture, including staging access and working platforms etc., all complete as specified and dirctored including dismantling and removing the aforesaid assembly after the concrete attains the sufficientstrength to self-support itself without cracking and distortion all as per specification, including all materials and labour complete in all respects at all lifts. The measurement for the form work will be the actual area of forms in contact with concrete surfaces. Shuttering with plywood panels alone will be permitted. 15 Providing and laying plain cement concrete 1:1.5:3 using 20mm maximum size graded aggregates including mechanical mixing, transporting and placing in required position, raming, compaction, levelling, curing, shuttering, dewatering if any directed by Engineer-in-Charge and complete all as per specifications. 16 Providing and laying cast -insitu controlled reinforced cement concrete M35 grade with 380 kg. of cement per cu.m. ofconcrete for all floors at all levels and lifts mentioned below using 20mm maximum of size hard granite machine crushed graded stone aggregates including weigh batching, charges for mixing and cost admixture, mechanical mixing, transporting and placing at all lifts, vibrating, consolidating, curing and finishing smooth of all exposed faces complete for column footing, column, lintels, sunshades, gutter slab, beams, slabs, water tank, machine foundation and all other structural elements including dewatering wherever necessary (Formwork and reinforcement will be paid for separately ) all as per specification all as shown in drawings and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge for all insitu item.Note:1. The rate of concrete shall include all labour, equipment, charges for mixing and cost of admixture. Chemical admixture confirming to IS 9103 shall be mixed in fresh concrete and prior permission from Engineer-in-charge shall be obtain for dosage and compatibility. 2.Test certificate of cement procured from dealer/company to be submitted for all cement related work by the Contractor.3.The rate shall be quoted on the bases of using minimum cement per Cu.m. of concrete mention below for relevant grade of concrete any upward/downward variation required to obtain the specified strength will be paid for or deducted at the rate of the cement specified in Schedule F. 17 Manufacturing, supplying, hoisting and fixing in position at all lifts, precast unit of various patterns and sizes for precast plain solid unit,exhaust fan moulds, slabs, etc., in controlled reinforced cementconcrete of M30 grade using 20mm and below machine crushed graded stone aggregate with 380Kg of cement per Cu.m concrete including weigh batching, mechanical mixing, casting, vibrating, finishing of exposed faces, curing, necessary formwork,moulds, transporting and placing at all lifts, preparation of connections, grouting with cement mortar/cement grout wherever needed excluding steel reinforcement complete all as per drawing, specification and as directed by Engineer.. 18 Providing and laying Damp proof course over brick masonry wall at basement level in cement mortar 1:3 25mm thick mixing with crude oil at the rate of 5% by weigth of cement including curing, finishing etc. complete all as per specification, drawings and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. 19 Providing and construction Random Rubble Masonry in cement mortar 1:6 using hard granite stones obtained from approved quarry with bound stones at 2.00 meters apart for foundation, basement and in superstructure compound/boundary walls, including sizing of stones if required ,ranking outjoints, scaffolding, curing etc.., complete as per specification and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge at all lifts . 20 Proving and construction brick masonry at all lifts using well burnt stock bricks in cement mortar 1:6 including scaffolding,raking out joints, curing complete as per specification and drawings for foundation, superstructure, etc. 21 Proving and construction brick masonry at all lifts 115mm thick brick work in cement mortar 1:4 using well burnt stock bricks including providing and placing in position 2 nos of 8mm dia rods at every 4th layerscaffolding,raking out joints on both faces etc., complete as per specification and directed by the Engineer-In-Charge. 22 Providingplastering to the internal surface of brickwork/concrete at all elevation in cement mortar 1:5, 12mm thick finished with a floating coat of neat cement including hacking of concretesurface with pointed tool, scaffolding, finishing, curing, forming grooves where ever necessary, all as per specifications. 23 Providing F3 Finishing over concrete surface in cement mortar 1:1.5 (1 part of cement : 1.5 part of fine sand ) including wetting the surface, labour, curing, all material, scaffolding, at all elevation complete all as per specification and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. 24 Providing cement plaster skirting in cement mortar 1:3, 18mm thick finishedwith a floating coat of neat cement, including curing, making uniform heigth, cleaning the surface neatly at the time of handing over the area all as per specifications and as directed by Engineer. 25 Providing plastering to the external surfaces of brickwork/concrete at all elevations in cement mortar 1:5, 12mm thick including hacking of concrete surfaces with pointed tool, scaffolding, finishing, curing, forming grooves wherever necessary, all as per specifications. 26 Providing and fixing Cast Iron Nahani Trap / Floor Trap of 100mm inlet and 75mm outlet, (weighing 5.80 kgs each), jointing with Lead with the connection pipes, placing as per the drawings, including embedding in cement concrete 1:2:4 and making circular hole up to floor level using 110mm O/D PVC pipes of 6 kgs/sq.cm pressure and fixing 1No 125mm dia C.P. BrassGrating, complete all as specifications and drawings and as drawings and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. 27 Providing and fixing Heavy Quality C Class G.I pipe sleeves 150mm n/b, 600mm long, with Puddle Flange of 250x250mm, 6mm thick for rain water down takes (of 160mm dia) to be embedded in RCC slabs/ RCC roof Gutters to connect Rain water pipes by welding or with screwed sockets all as per the drawings and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. These sleeves to be fabricated and embedded at the time of concreting in true vertical. 28 Providing and laying 40mm outer dia PVC water supply line with Finolex / Varun / Truebore, or approved equivalent make PVC pipes suitable for 6kg/sq.cm pressure and specials confirming & marked to IS: 4985 including jointing with PVC jointing compound, laying and fixing the pipes in the excavated trenches, cost of all types of specials such as tees, reduces, coupler, reducing bushes, threaded adaptor, elbow, tall pieces, caps etc. and testing the line as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. 29 Providing and laying75mm outer dia PVC pipe. PVC water supply line with Finolex / Varun / Truebore, or approved equivalent make PVC pipes suitable for 6kg/sq.cm pressure and specials confirming & marked to IS: 4985 including jointing with PVC jointing compound, laying and fixing the pipes in the excavated trenches, cost of all types of specials such as tees, reduces, coupler, reducing bushes, threaded adaptor, elbow, tall pieces, caps etc. and testing the line as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. 30 Providing and laying 110mm outer dia PVC water supply line with Finolex / Varun / Truebore, or approved equivalent make PVC pipes suitable for 6kg/sq.cm pressure and specials confirming & marked to IS: 4985 including jointing with PVC jointing compound, laying and fixing the pipes in the excavated trenches, cost of all types of specials such as tees, reduces, coupler, reducing bushes, threaded adaptor, elbow, tall pieces, caps etc. and testing the line as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. 31 Providing and laying160mm outer dia PVC water supply line with Finolex / Varun / Truebore, or approved equivalent make PVC pipes suitable for 6kg/sq.cm pressure and specials confirming & marked to IS: 4985 including jointing with PVC jointing compound, laying and fixing the pipes in the excavated trenches, cost of all types of specials such as tees, reduces, coupler, reducing bushes, threaded adaptor, elbow, tall pieces, caps etc. and testing the line as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. 32 Providing and laying non pressure NP2 class RCC Hume pipes 150mm diaconforming to IS:458, with collars jointed with stiff mixture of cement mortar in the proportion of 1:2, laying to the levels, slopes including testing of joints etc. complete all as per the drawings and specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. 33 Providing and laying non pressure NP2 class RCC Hume pipes 300mm diaconforming to IS:458, with collars jointed with stiff mixture of cement mortar in the proportion of 1:2, laying to the levels, slopes including testing of joints etc. complete all as per the drawings and specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. 34 Providing and constructing Gully Chamber of internal size 300x300mm including providing, supplying and fixing 150x150mm stoneware gully trap with CI grating including excavation in all types of soils, backfilling, embedding in plain cement concrete 1:4.5:8 using 40mm size granite aggregates and constructing the above chamber with 115mm thick brick work in plastering over both internal and external faces of brick work with cement mortar 1:3, 12mm thick finished smooth with a floating coat of neat cement on both faces, providing and fixing CI cover with frame of 300x300mm size (inside) the weight of cover to be not less than 4.5kg and frame to be not less than 2.70kg as per standard design complete all as per specification and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. 35 Construction of Inspection chamber ofinternal size 600x600mminternally up to 1.00 metre depth with brick masonry walls of 230/345mm thick using stock bricks in cement mortar 1:5 with necessary brick carbelling as required, plastering with cement mortar 1:3, 12mm thick for external sides of the chamber including excavation inall types of soils, back filling, providing and laying 150mm thick PCC 1:4.5:8 for foundation concrete forming bencing in PCC 1:2:4 using 20mm maximum size graded aggregate etc. complete all as per specification, drawing and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. 36 Construction of Inspection chamber ofinternal size 900x600mminternally up to 1.00 metre depth with brick masonry walls of 230/345mm thick using stock bricks in cement mortar 1:5 with necessary brick carbelling as required, plastering with cement mortar 1:3, 12mm thick for external sides of the chamber including excavation inall types of soils, back filling, providing and laying 150mm thick PCC 1:4.5:8 for foundation concrete forming bencing in PCC 1:2:4 using 20mm maximum size graded aggregate etc. complete all as per specification, drawing and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. 37 Supplying and fixing in position of heavy quality Cast iron manhole frame and cover,steps etc of specified weight for the inspection chamber, valve chamber etc all as per specification and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. 38 Providing, supplying, cutting, bending to shape,welding, fabricating, hoisting, placing and fixing in position structural steel members like MS structural embedment’s/pipe and sleeves/penetrationetc. usingMS angles, channels, I-sections, plates, tees, flats, rounds, squaresections etc. including chamfering and rounding off the edges, applying a coat of Zinc chromate primer of approved make and 2 coats of flat oil paint / synthetic enamel paint of approved colour and make, scaffolding and staging required for fabrication as well as erection completeall as per specifications, drawings and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. Note: - Lifting device arrangements if any required shall also to be arranged by the contractor at his own cost. 39 Supplying, fabricating, installing, placing and securing in positionmild steel grills for windows comprising of square bars / MS flats as per detailed drawing/ shop drawing by contracor,including cutting, bending to shape, welding, painting with two coats of synthetic enamel paint of approved colour over one coat of primer, fixing with SS/ good quality of screws,complete all as per specification, drawings and directed by the Engineer-in-charge. 40 Providing Structural steel work in M.S plain plates and chequrred plates in embedded parts, trench covers, connection plates etc. including cutting hoisting, fixing in position and applying a priming coat of approved Zinc chromate steel primer etc. including cost of structural steel plates, welding all labour charges etc. complete as per drawings and specifications. Structural steel plates to be used shall be of approved make. 41 Supply & embedment of following sizes of flush mounting double door type distribution boards of Three phase distribution box IP 54, legrand model IK09 ETPN DBs 16 Way, cat No 5076-94, 8+48 way or Equivalent prefered make, and to incorporate all the interconnecting conduits drop and raisers with suitable adaptor system at proper depth in the brick work , wall plaster at all the sides so as the top cover is inline with the finished final wall as per standard installation practice whichinstallation of suitable pull boxes and junction boxes whereever necessary and as per the detailed techinical specification, including labour and consumables. 42 Supply & embedment of following sizes of flush mounting double door type distribution boards of Three phase distribution box IP 54, Legrand model IK09 ETPN DBs 12 Way, cat No 5076-73, 8+36 way, or Equivalent prefered make and to incorporate all the interconnecting conduits drop ans raisers with suitable adaptor system at proper depth in the brick work , wall plaster at all the sides so as the top cover is inline with the finished final wall as per standard installation practice which includessuitable pull boxes and junction boxes whereever necessaryand as per the detailed techinical specification, including labour and consumables. 43 Supply & embedment of following sizes of flush mounting double door type distribution boards of Single phase DB IP54, Legrand Model IK09, Cat ref 5076-42, 12 way, or Equivalent prefered make and to incorporate all the interconnecting conduits drop ans raisers with suitable adaptor system at proper depth in the brick work , wall plaster at all the sides so as the top cover is inline with the finished final wall as per standard installation practice which includes suitable pull boxes and junction boxes whereever necessary and as per the detailed techinical specification, including labour and consumables. 44 system at suitable depth in brick work including wall chipping and finishing with plaster at all the sides such that the box is interconnecting with the semi concealed junction box/ pull box above the
