Bids Are Invited For Refilling Of Fire Extinguisher Cylinders - Carbon Dioxide Fire Extinguisher; As Per Scope Of Work; As Per Scope Of Work 1. Hydraulic test shall be conducted before every refilling as per IS-2190. The Firm along with the supply shall submit a test certificate to this effect 2. If hydraulic test failed the extinguisher shall be punched/ marked with REJECTED and return to DVC BTPS 3. Extinguisher shall be painted fire red or post office red confirming to shade No 536 0r 537 IS.5-1978. 4. Labelling of operational sticker with picture showing operation of the extinguisher in correct manner shall be provided on the body of the extinguishers. 5. CO2 gas to be refilled in CO2 cylinder shall be pure CO2 gas confirming to IS:307-1966 grade II. Purity cum hygiene certificate shall be furnished by the party at the time of supply. 6. Firm must submit authorisation certificate of having Chief Controller of Explosive approval. 7. Party should quote the rate for CO2 fire extinguisher, hydraulic pressure test, refilling of CO2 gas cartridge and painting., labelling of stickers and servicing/replacement of the valve ( ISI ) safety pin, stickering and painting etc separately 8. During refilling of CO2 gas replacement of valve if required shall be done by the firm an shall submit a certification in this effect 9. CO2 cartridge hydraulic testing and refilling : each of cartridge shall be subject to internal hydraulic pressure of 250 Kgs/Cm2 for minimum period of one minute before filling. 10. The inside and outside surface should be smooth and the material section should be uniform. The external surface should be properly cleaned and treated with anti- corrosion treatment of lead tin alloy ( Tin not less than 10% or zinc coting with minimum coating thickness of 20 micron cartridge shall be painted grey shade. 11. Inspection of the material will be carried out jointly CISF fire wing representative and DVC BTPS. 12. Rate shall be firm inclusive of to & fro transportation cost.
