and fire retardant. WPC to be laminated with PVC foil of minimum 14 microns thick of approved design pasted with hot melt adhesive on both faces of shutterand fixing with stainless steel butt hinges of required size with necessary full body threaded star headed counter sunk S.S screws, all as per direction of Engineer In- Charge. 70 M&L for followings :-(i) Removing plaster & finishes from all exposed / damaged portion of coloumns, slabs & beams(ii) After cleaning gently removing cover concrete using pneumatic/electric chipper or any other approved tool in entire portion of structural member (removal of cover concrete shall be done to an extent when reinforcement is visible)(iii) Removal of cover concrete with under cutting of up to a depth of 20mm beyond reinforcement around full circumference & full length of bar where directed. (concrete shall be stripped to an extent concrete substrate is exposed)(iv) Cleaning exposed concrete substrate by using water jet.(v) Removing visible rust along the length of reinforcement using hand tools as approved.(The Engr-in-charge may order sand blasting if rust is approved)(vi) Any other work as directed by Engr-in-charge to present clean surface for determination of type of repair to be carried out complete all as specified and directed. 71 M&L for providing rust proof /anti corrosive treatment to bars :-(i) cleaning of all exposed bars (new & old) alround(ii) Apply a single coat of Alkaline rust converting primer on alround bars of any girth new & old as recommended by the manufactuer(iii) Apply two coats of Epoxy phenolic anti corrosive protective coat on bars alround new & old as recommended by the manufactuer. Note : Anti corrosive treatment shall be continuous espcially in the regions where pitting, imperfections, etc were present on the surface of the bars. It is important that the rear portions of re bars (those towards the concrete substrate) should not be left without coating. 72 M&L for providing PMM (Polymer modified cementitious mortar) :-(i) Dry sub strate surface and free of debris and dust(ii) Applying Epoxy bond coat on the sound substrate using approved apray machine & ensuring that no pin holes are visible (In case pin holes are still visible after a coat, a second coat shall be applied to ensure absence of pin holes).(iii) Immediately after application of epoxy bond coat as above apply PMM (Polymer modified cementitoius mortar) of 25-50mm thickness.Note : Application of PMM sghall of preferably be in coats of approx 10mm thickness. PMM work shall be executed in fairely rapid successions so as entire work is completed within 30mins). PMM shall be pre packed ready to use.(iv) PMM surface to be moist cured for three days followed by air curing in temperature as recommended by manufacturer cmplete all as specified and directed. 73 S&F 100mm dia cast iron (spun cast) soil, waste and vent pipes in any length, with or without ears, with leadjoints, fixed to walls including dismantling old pipes any type complete all as specified and directed. 74 S&F 75mm dia cast iron (spun cast) soil, waste and vent pipes in any length, with or without ears, with leadjoints, fixed to walls including dismantling old pipes any type complete all as specified and directed. 75 S&F in repair 100 mm dia cast iron bends/Tee/diminishing piece with or without oval access doors for spun pipes (any radious)with polymer jointing materials, complete all as specified and directed. 76 S&F in repair 75 mm dia cast iron bends/Tee/diminishing piece with or without oval access doors for spun pipes (any radious)with polymer jointing materials, complete all as specified and directed. 77 M&L for jointfree Non - skid coloured Ceramic tiles 7 to 8 mm thick area of eachtile(600x600mm) exceeding 0.18 sqm but not exceeding 0.38 sqm, in floors etc. set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to matchcomplete all as specified and directed. 78 Demolition of cement concrete (unreinforced)/lime concrete/sunken floor of any description and in any position not otherwise specifically provided for by mechanical means (like drill machine, Hilti, pneumatic chisel, etc) complete all as spd & directed. 79 M&L PCC 1:5:10 Type E-2 (using 40 mm graded stone aggregate )in mass concrete for sunken portion of WC,complete all as specified and directed. 80 M & L for Water proofing treatment of sunken RCC slab : (i) 15mm thick plater in CM (1:3) mixed with WP compound as per manufacturers instructions shall be provided on sunken portion while the concrete is green.(ii)Apply cement slury @ 0.488 kg/sqm cement mixedwith Acrylic based polymer modified cementious composite compound@ 0.253 kg/sqm and the surface will be allowed to air cure for 4 hours. (iii)Apply another layer of cement slurry @ 0.242 kg/sqm of cement mixed with Acrylic based polymer modified cementious composite compound @ 0.126 kg/sqm and the surface will be allowed to air cure for 4 hrs. (Make of cement composite compound of Dr. Fixit/Fosroc/Sikka)(iv)Curing the sunken portion with water minimum for 7 days by ponding.(v)Paste 200micron thick poythene film of approved make with approved adhesives to the treated sunken surface.(vi)Joints/Traps/WC/Soil pies shall be properly sealed with approved sealing compound of approved make.(vii)Testing of all traps & joints shall be done after sealing and before filling of sunken slabs and ponding test for 96 hours.
