Earth plate shall be surrounded by alternate layer 15cm thick of charcoal or coke and common salt all aroundbottom and top , 20cm bore GI medium grade ISI marked pipe for watering and including funnel,wire mesh,PCC chamber pit made with PCC(1:3:6) type C-1(using 20mm graded stone aggregate) including necessary form work, excavation and earth work in any type of soil, returning filling and disposal of surplus soil to a distancenot exceeding 50M, CI pit cover duly painted with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer, complete all as specified & shown in electrical plate No.3 of SSR 2009(Part-I) and all as directed.Note:- (i) Protection pipe and earthing strip upto test point from top of the earth plate and further upto the body of electrical equipment shall be included in the unit rate of this item.(ii) Earth testing arrangement should be done by contractor as per direction of Engr-In-Charge. |
