Improvement Of Irrigation Potential By Resuscitation Of Kulai Irrigation Scheme Within Block- Simlapal, District- Bankura- 1 Dismantling of existing structures like culverts, bridges, retaining walls and other structure comprising of masonry, cement concrete, steel work, including T&P and scaffolding wherever necessary, sorting the dismantled material, disposal of unserviceable material and stacking the serviceable material with all lifts and lead of 1000 m as per Technical Specifications Clause 202 for Rural Roads of MORD. 2 (I) ByManual Meansb) Cement Concrete 3 Dismantling all types of masonry excepting cement concrete plain or reinforced, stacking serviceable materials at site and removing rubbish as directed within a lead of 75 m. 4 a) In ground floor including roof. 5 Earthwork in excavation in the canals / drainage channels / borrow pits / River bed / slope of bank as noted below as per designed section & throwing the spoils in layers of 25 cm. for making banks as per profile or to deposit the same in any other place within an initial lead of 30 metre and initial lift of 1.5 metre including breaking clods, rough dressing etc. complete as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge. 6 (a) Ordinary soil / local soil / soil mixed with moorum or kankar / silt, dry or moist / slushy silt / sticky soil. 7 Extra rate over Item Nos. 3 for all kinds of soil for every additional lead of 30 metres or part thereof beyond the initial lead of 30 metres. 8 Additional Lift = 1 No. 9 Additional Lift = 2 No. 10 Earth work from borrow pits over existing embankment or for repairs to embankment, closing breaches etc. within an initial lead of 30 metre and lift of 1.50 metre including breaking clods and depositing the same in layers not exceeding 25 cm. and rough dressing etc. complete as per profile. 11 Extra rate over item No. 3 for all kinds of soil for every additional lead of 30 metre or part thereof beyond the initial lead of 30 metre. 12 Additional Lead = 1 Nos. 13 Additional Lead = 2 Nos. 14 Earth work in excavation of foundation of structures as per drawing and technical specification, including setting out, removing, spreading or stacking of spoils within a lead of 150 m. as directed and including trimming the sides of the trenches, leveling, dressing and ramming the bottom, and backfilling with approved material complete as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge . I. In all sorts of soil excluding marshy soil & rocks (soft or hard) by manual means.a) upto 3 m depth. 15 Without pumping out water and shoring. 16 Earthwork in filling in foundation trenches with good earth in layers not exceeding 15cm. including watering and ramming layer by layer complete with earth obtained from excavation of foundation or from fresh excavation of land arranged by Department within a lead of 150 m. 17 Box cutting or filling in Road embankment in all sorts of soil including spreading the spoils properly over the flank as necessary or on berm to approximate grade & camber and rolling the sub-grade with power roller to proper camber and grade as per direction and satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge including uprooting and removing plants and jungles when and where necessary. Depth up to 150 mm. 18 Cutting uprooting and clearing jungles including shrubs, water weeds, bushes, trees, plants, upto 30 cm. girth including removing as directed by Engineer-in-charge. 19 Scraping Plaster in Lime or Cement Mortar from Brick / Stone Masonry as per Technical Specification Clause 202 for Rural Roads of MORD. 20 Sand filling in foundation trenches and at the back of abutments, wing-walls etc. with good local sand free from earth in layers not exceeding 15 cm. including inundating each layer by profuse water and poking and ramming layer by layer complete including supply of sand. Quality of sand is to be approved by the Engineer-in-charge.(The compaction factor may be taken as 0.835) 21 Supplying and laying Polythene Sheet (150gm / sq.m.) over damp proof course or below flooring or roof terracing or in foundation or in foundation trenches. 22 Hire and labour charges for Shuttering with or without staging upto 4.0 m height using approved stout props with ply wood/steel sheet plate with required bracing for any kind of plain or reinforced concrete works in all sorts of minor structure including culvert, box culvert, crossdrain etc. The rate is inclusive of fitting, fixing and striking out after completion of work as per specification and direction. 23 (b) Where staging is not required 24 Hire and labour charges for staging with sal bullah for super structure of bridge (Major and Minor) including stripping off and removing clearing on completion of work as per design and drawing approved by the Engineer-in-charge. 25 Ordinary Cement concrete (mix 1:1.5:3) with graded stone chips (20 mm nominal size) excluding shuttering and reinforcement,if any, in ground floor as per relevant IS codes. 26 (a) Pakur variety 27 Cast-in-situ cement concrete blocks or lining units as per designed section and specification,in nominal Mix. 1:1.5:3 (correspomding to M20 grade) with 20 mm down stone metal aggregate, laid in position by casting in alternative panels or otherwise to keep a gap of 12mm between the adjacent units, over a layer of polythene sheet of thickness not less than 100 micron to act as a separator between the bottom surface of the block and the sand cushion/ filter material laid below the blocks, including dressing, ramming, shuttering, finishing the exposed surface by trowel without adding any additional cement and sand mortar, curing and filling the gaps between the adjacent units by 5.6mm down coarse aggregate to be compacted properly, with all leads and lifts including supply and carriage of all materials, complete, without the cost of sand cushion/ filter. 28 (a) Pakur variety 29 Applying Exterior grade Acrylic primer of approved quality and brand on plastered or cencrete surface old or new surface to receive decorative textured(matt finish) or smooth finish acrylic exterior emulsion paint including scraping and preparing the surface throughly, complete as per manufacturers specification and as per direction of the EIC. In Ground Floor: 30 (b) two Coat 31 Protective and Decorative Acrylic exterior emulsion paint of approved quality, as per manufacturers specification and as per direction of EIC to be applied over acrylic primer as required. The rate includes cost of material, labour, scaffolding and all incidental charges but excluding the cost of primer. (a) Stone / laterite boulder pitching. 50 Labour charges for bouIder pitching on top and slope by placing required boulders (each weighing 20 Kg. and above within lead of 100 metres and all lifts) including filling the interstices with fragments as required, preparing sub-grade by cutting or filling the earth on slope upto 7.5 cm. depth, watering and ramming where necessary complete as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge. 51 a) Over Jhama Khoa / metal filter/ Geo-textile filter. 52 Laying of a geotextile filter between pitching and embankment slopes on which pitching is laid to prevent escape of the embankment material through the voids of the stone pitching/cement concrete blocks as well as to allow free movement of water without creating any uplift head on the pitching. 53 Labour charge for dumping/ laying of Laterite/ Stone Boulders/ Shingles/ Brick Bats, from stack of work site with all leads and lifts in water or spreading the same on the slope of the bank of River/ Sea or the slope of the embankment or in the River/ Sea bed to an uniform thickness as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge including cost of all accessories and other incidental charges. 54 (a) Boulder 20 kg & above where boats are not necessary. 55 Turfing with chorkata or durba grass sods 5cm. to 8cm. thick in slope, crest berm etc. of embankments, canals and drainage channels etc. within a lead of 150 metre and all lifts including fine dressing, watering, ramming, guarding etc. complete. (i) For Construction of Sub Base by consolidating Laterite (90 mm to 45 mm).NB:- 1.Quarry Laterite chelly is considered from Punisole, Dist.-Bankura. 89 Supplying, spreading and consolidating moorum to a depth of 75 mm at desired density and C.B.R. as per specification with power roller to proper gradient and camber including watering as necessary, and lighting, guarding, barricading and making adequate earthen bundh where necessary to protect the edges and curing with water for 2-3 days, mending cracks by rolling where necessary including all incidental charges of roller, cost of fuel & lubricants etc. complete as per specification.(The compaction factor may be taken as 0.67).(The payment is to be made on the basis of the finished compacted volume of moorum).(Quarry for moorum is considered from Punisole, Dist.- Bankura). 90 Brick edging 75 mm wide with picked jhama bricks, laid true to line and level including cutting necessary trench in soil or in hard metalled surface, laying the bricks and repacking the trench (on both side of the edging) with spoils and ramming the same thoroughly complete as per direction. 91 (b) Brick-on-end edging (250 mm) depth. 92 Applying epoxy based reactive joining agent for joining the old concrete with fresh concrete to be applied within manufacturers specified time as per manufacturers specification. (The rate is inclusive of cost of reinforcement, concrete, shuttering, nuts & bolts, washer etc. complete.). 100 Dismantling of damaged embedded part like guide channel/bottom seal beam/top seal beam of gates of canal/river from civil structure as directed by the Engineer-in- charge. The costs of man power employed for dismantling and hire charges of Tools and Plant, scaffolding charges etc. Payment will be made on actual length of Guide Channel. 101 Taking out old existing unserviceable damaged gate shutter of canal/ river completely after disengaging from hoisting system completely for installation of new gate shutter. The work includes cutting of gates into suitable pieces by gas cutting, removing the same by mechanical means or suitable crane, stacking all the pieces at the suitable place or as directed by the Engineer in charge up to a lead of 1000 m. The cost includes cost of man power employed for dismantling and cost of consumables like oxygen, acetylene gas, welding rod, hire charges of machineries, like chain pulley block, gas set, grinding machine, welding set, tools & tackles, scaffolding and safety equipment’s etc. including carriage loading & unloading. The cost of complete dismantling of hoisting system & cost of old unserviceable materials handed over to departmental go down including loading & unloading will be provided extra.a) gate Shutter size upto 4.00 sq.m 102 Taking out screw gear rod including its head stock assembly by cutting nuts and bolts from draw shutter of distributories/branch canal/minor canal/channel for replacement/after feeding the canal and handed over to the section office or as directed by the Engineer in charge. The Cost includes cost of Manpower, Cutting, all overheads with all leads and lifts complete.
