Tender For Repair/Maintenance To Lightning Arresters, Earthenings And Associated Wks At Patiala Mil Stn Under Ge(N) Patiala; 1 M&L (bore earthing) Drilling of perfectly vertical bore hole of a diameter suitable to receive 100 mm nominal diameter casing pipe up-to 30 meter depth below ground level inclusive of the labour charges for transporting, lowering & fixing of 100 mm nominal diameter MS casing pipe inside the bore hole including all works pertaining to drilling such as transportation, Installation & removal of drilling machine etc complete in all type of soil/rock & fixing of ISI marked MS casing pipe (plain) medium class in 6 meter length and fitted with socket as per IS:1239 (part-2) 1992 with IV th revision (up-to date amendments), 100 mm dia along with required minor civil works. In addition to above ISI marked GI pipe 40 mm dia (plain) Heavy class (C grade) of 03 meter length is to be provided by the contractor & to be welded with MS Flat & bore filled back with black cotton soil. However the MS Flat 50x6 mm shall be provided by Contractor laying of GI flat approx length 50 Meter & complete welding work for connecting GI casing pipe 100 mm dia & GI pipe of 80 mm dia protection pipe with MS flat & to be connected with existing earth pits at different location including labour charges, testing on completion complete all as specified and directed upto safisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge. 2 Disconnecting and taking down unserviceable earthing any type & size including all accessories from installations/bldgs/communication centres complete all as directed by Engr-in-Charge. 3 Disconnecting and taking down unserviceable earth continity conductor of type & sizecomplete all as directed by Engr-in-Charge. 4 M& L for earthling complete with galvanizedsteel earth plate, electrode600 x600x6 mm thick , burieddirectlyunder ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 m below ground level ) with top edge of the plate not less than1.5 below ground level connected to galvanizedstrip 32x6mm by means of nuts, bolts, check nuts & washers, of galvanizediron or steel all as Shown in electrical plate No 3 on Sl. Page 19-497 of MES schedule 2009 part Iand connected to existing equipment/system, including all necessary excavation& earth work in hard/dense soil, common salt and charcoal dust mixed & packed 150 mm thick homogeneous layer all around the GI earthplate, GI protection pipe 40mmlight grade upto 7.5 meter from electrode complete all as specified & shown on drawings with watering pipe medium grade 20mm dia ,GI sheet funnel with wire mesh ,RCC precast cover 1:2:4 type B1 duly reinforced with TMT bar 8mm dia at the rate of150mm centre to centre both ways with suitable lifting handle ,pit/chamber in PCC 1:3:6 type C1 ,Angle iron 40x40x5mm frame for pit cover including testing on completion complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. 5 All as per item no 4 above but using GI Lead wire 4 mm dia asearthing lead complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. 6 All as per item no 4 above but using copper plate 60×60cm ×3.15mm thick electrode and 20×3mm copper strip as earthing lead complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. 7 S&F Earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed to wall on batten or recess or chases or burried in ground or drawn in conduit/pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for loop earthing etc. as required 4mm dia galvanised iron or steel wire complete all as specified and directed. 8 S&F Earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed to wall on batten or recess or chases or burried in ground or drawn in conduit/pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for loop earthing etc. as required 32x6mm galvanised iron strip complete all as specified and directed. 9 S&F Earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed to wall on batten or recess or chases or burried in ground or drawn in conduit/pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for loop earthing etc. as required 20x3mmcopper strip complete all as specified and directed. 10 S & F in replacement, Stop valves, castcopper alloy,screwed down,high pressure,with crutch or butterfly handle,screwed both ends for ironpipe or for unions 15 mm dia in each earth pit at 66 KV Switch yards earthing water supply system complete all as specified and directed 11 S & F in replacement Tubes, medium grade, galvanised, with all fitting laid in trenches 15 mm dia GI pipe with existing by means of suitable socket to make functional water supply system at each earth at 66 KV Switch yards complete all as specified and directed 12 Supply andFill salt suitable for earthing complete including filling in earthing funnel with water all as directed to improve the earth result of the entire earth pit and testing earth resistance (earth resistance shall not be less than 01 ohm)complete all as directed by Engr-in-charge. 13 M & L forconstructing of brick mesonary pits of internal dimensions 0.3 mtr x 0.3 mtr x0.3 mtrs (finished size of pit) ( bottomPCCfloor of the pit should be minimum 30 cms below the bottom surface of sluice valve flange to provide sufficient working space) , bottom floor of the pit be constructed in PCC (1:3:6) 15 cms thick with 20 mm graded stone aggregate, inner and exposed surfaces and bottom floor of the pit should be plastered in CM (1:4) 15 MM thick. The sluice valve and other fittings should be housed in center of the pit. the vertices of the pit should in right angle and champhered .The top cover of the pit will be made out of MS sheet min 3.15 mm thick witth angle iron frame made out of MS angle 40mm x40 mmx 5 mm with galvanised steel hindges two nos ,and locking arrangements duly painted with two coats of water resistant synthetic enamelled paint over one coat of red oxide complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge. 14 M&L in repair Lightning arrester VTR ESE non corrosive type of 15 mtr height if ground mounted or 8 mtr height in case of building mounted with base plate not less than 300x300x6mm including mounting arrangement and two set of earths having protection radius 107 Sq mtr,lightning impulse current- 200 kA (10/350 Micro sec), protection level-4 including data reciver box capable to transmit data through i-cloud to any desktop web page or application having 6 digit non re-setable display with IP65 protection,70 sqmm single core copper cable for earth connection and manufacturer should be CPRI approved complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge. Model Range : ASLA 60, VTR 60 15 M& L for Testing of earthing includingmaking a test base plate of size with black synthetic enamel over a coat of red oxide paint on base and writingtest result with white paint and submit a test report after check duly signed by contractor on completion complete all asdirected by Engr-in-Charge
