Tender For Building strengthening worksin boiler house area-- 1 Demolishing PCC 2 Demolishing cement concrete manually / by mechanical means including disposal of material within 50 metres lead as per direction of Engineer - in-Charge.Nominal concrete 1:4:8 leaner mix ( including equivalent design mix) 3 RCC chipping 4 Chipping of unsound/weak concrete material from slabs, beams, columns etc.with manual Chisel and/ or by standard power driven percussion type or of approved make including tapering of all edges, making square shoulders of cavities including cleaning the exposed concrete surface and reinforcement with wire brushes etc. and disposal of debris for all lead and lifts, scaffolding upto 4 mtr height, all complete as per direction of Engineer-In-Charge.;50mm average thickness 5 Demolishing solid block 6 Demolishing brick work manually / by mechanical means, including cutting with cutter machine for separating existing brick work from brick work to be demolished, including stacking of serviceable material and disposal of unserviceable material within 50 metres lead as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.In cement mortar 7 Chipping plastering 8 Dismantling old plaster or skirting raking out joints and cleaning the surface for plaster including disposal of rubbish to the dumping ground within 50 metres lead 9 Dismantling windows andventilator 10 Dismantling doors, windows and clerestory windows (steel or wood ) shutter including chowkhats, architrave, holdfasts etc. complete and stacking within 50 metres lead:Of area 3 sq. metres and below 11 Excavation 12 Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator)/manual means over areas (exceeding 30 cm in depth, 1.5 m in width as well as 10 sqm on plan) including disposal of excavated earth, lead up to 50 m and lift up to 1.5 m, disposed earth to be levelled and neatly dressed.All kinds of soil 13 Dewatering 14 Pumping or Bailing out water and removing slush etc by using pump set including cost of labour, oil hire charges of pumpset, etc complete 15 Shoring 16 Close timbering in trenches including strutting, shoring and packing cavities (wherever required) complete (Measurements to be taken of the face area timbered).Depth not exceeding 1.5m 17 PCC work 18 Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering - The product shall be applied on the reinforcement surface after throughly cleaning. painted area of steel shall be considered for payment 37 Applying bonding agent 38 Providing, mixing and applying bonding coat of approved adhesive on chipped& portion of RCC as per specifications and direction of Engineer-Incharge;complete in all respect.;Epoxy bonding adhesive having coverage 2.20 sqm/kg of approved make Details of Cost for 2.20 Sqm 39 Thixotropy 40 Providing and applying single component fibre reinforced thixotropic non shrink repair mortar such as BASF EMACO S48CT or FOSROC/BOSTIK product for columns, beams, slabs and otherstructural members with 4 ltrs of potable water per 25kg of product, mixing by heavyduty, slow speed drill with spiral mixing paddle or a Pan type mixers etc. after pouring the water in a mixing vessel, mixed material shall be applied both by trowel or spray application and finished to get a uniform thickness and finish and all works as per manufactures specifications and as directed by the Engineer in charge, including curing, cost of materials, labour, scaffolding upto a height of 4 mtr, conveyance etcThe work shall be carried by an agency having sufficient experience and should ensure a guarantee of 5years. Only skilled and experienced persons shall be employed for this purpose. 41 Micro concrete above 5cm 42 Microconcerte measured in m3 for thickness more than 5cm, providing and applying microconcrete for thickness above 50mm with fluid micro concrete product, such as Renderoc RG/MasterEmaco S 346/Cera microconcrete of M/s;Fosroc/BASF/Cera Chem or Similar respectively, with potable water, mixing by heavy duty slow speed electrically operated stirrer after pouring the water in a mixing vessel, mixed material shall be poured through the feed hopper into well positioned form work for the required thickness and all works as per manufactures specifications and as directed by the Engineer in charge, including curing, cost of materials, labour, conveyance etc, but excluding cost of form work, bonding agent, reinforcement and SS welded mesh. The work shall be carried by an agency having sufficientexperience and should ensure a guarantee of 5years. Only skilled and experienced persons shall be employed for this purpose 43 Mesh fixing 44 Supplying and Fixing 16 gauge SS welded mesh having size 20x20 mm or nearest size firmly to columns and beams with concrete nails and plate washers at adequate spacing to cover the concrete surface prior to micro concreting at all levels as per the instruction of engineer in charge, including all cost of materials, scaffolding upto height 5 mtr, conveyance, labour etc. complete.Details of cost for 10.00 sqm 45 Fixing nipples 46 Providing and fixing nipples with approved fixing compound such as Renderoc Plug/Master seal 505/Cera Plug of make M/s Forsoc/BASF/Cera Chem respectively after drilling holes for grouting as per Technical Specifications incluyding subsequent cutting/removal and sealing of the hole as necessary of nipples after completion of grouting with Cement including all scaffolding. 47 Injecting grout 48 Providing and injecting approved grout in proportion recommended by the manufacturer into cracks/honey-comb area of concrete/masonry by suitable gun/pump at required pressure including cutting of nipples after curing etc. complete as per directions of Engineer-in-Charge. (The payment shall be made on the basis of actual weight of approved grout injected.) Stirrer mixed approved chemical such as cebex 100/Flowcable 50/Cera Expan 250 of make M/s Fosroc/BASF/Cera Chem respectively @ recommended proportion of weight of cement used) modified Cement slurry made with non-shrink compound in concrete/RCC work including scaffoldings upto a height 5 mtr. 49 Solid block 50 Solid block masonry using pre cast solid blocks (Factory made) of size 30x20x15 cm or nearest available size confirming to IS 2185 part I of 1979 for foundation and plinth with thickness 15cm in: CM 1:6 ( 1 cement :6 coarse sand) etc complete 51 Plastering 52 12 mm cement plaster of mix:1:4 ( 1 cement : 4 fine sand) 53 SBR Plastering 54 Providing, mixing and applying SBR polymer (of approved make such as Nitobond SBR/SBR Reomix/Cera SBR Latex of M/s Fosroc/BASF/Cera Chem or Similiar respectively) modified Cement mortar in proportion of 1:4 (1 cement: 4 graded coarse sand with polymer as per manufactures specification ) including surface cleaning and application of bonding slurry to the prepared ;surface for proper adhesion as per manufacturers specificationas and ;directions of Engineerincharge.;Note: Measurement and payment: The pre-measurement of thickness shall be<br>done just after<br>the surface preparation is completed and Payment under this;item shall be made only after proper wet curing has been done and surface has been satisfactorily evaluated by sounding / tapping with a blunt ;metal ;instrument of 12 mm average thickness including scaffoldings upto 4 m height 55 Scaffolding 56 Providing and fixing double scaffolding system (cup lock type) on the exterior side, upto seven story hight made with 40 mm dia. M.S. tube 1.5 m centre to centre, horizontal & vertical tubes joining with cup & lock system with M.S. tubes, M.S. tube challies, M.S. clamps and M.S. staricase system in the scaffolding for working platform etc. and maintaining it in a serviceable condition for the required duration as approved and removing it there after. The scaffolding system shall be stiffened with bracings, runners, connection with the building etc wherever required for inspection of work at required location with essential safety features for the workmen etc. complete as per directions and approval of Engineer- in Charge. The elevational area of the scaffolding shall be measured for payment purpose. The payment will be made once irrespective of duration of scaffolding.
