Tender For Improvement Of Saharajore Irrigation Scheme Within Block- Arsha, Dist-Purulia - 1 Cuttingand clearing jungles including shrubs, water weeds, bushes, trees, plants, upto 30cm. Girth including removing as directed by Engineer-in-charge. 2 Earthwork in excavation in the canals / drainage channels / borrow pits / River bed / slope of bank as noted below as per designed section & throwing the spoils in layers of 25 cm. for making banks as per profile or to deposit the same in any other place within an initial lead of 30 metre and initial lift of 1.5 metre including breaking clods, rough dressing etc. complete as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge. a) Ordinary soil / local soil / soil mixed with moorum or kankar / silt, dry or moist / slushy silt / sticky soil. 3 Extra rate over Item Nos.1.01, 1.02 & 1.03 for all kinds of soil for every additional lift of 1.50 metre or part thereof beyond the initial lift of 1.50 metre. 4 i) One extra lift. 5 ii) Two extra lift. 6 Earthworkinexcavationoffoundationofstructures asperdrawingand technical specification, including settingout,removing,spreadingorstackingofspoils within a lead of 150 m. as directed and including trimmingthesidesofthetrenches,leveling,dressing andrammingthebottom,andbackfillingwith approved materialcomplete as perdirection of the Engineer-in-Charge I. In all sorts ofsoil excludingmarshysoil& rocks ( soft or hard ) by mnual means.a) upto 3 m depth. (iv) Without pumping out water and shoring. 7 Sand filling in foundation trenches and at the back of abutments, wing-walls etc. with good local sand free from earth in layers not exceeding 15 cm.including inundating each layer by profuse water and poking and ramming layer by layer complete including supply of sand. Quality of sand is to be approved by the Engineer-in-charge.Note : 1. Labour rate per m³ is provided; Cost of sand is tobe added to arrive at the complete item rate.2. Compaction factor of dry clean sand is 0.835. 8 Ordinary Cement concrete (mix 1:2:4) with graded stone chips (20 mm nominal size) excluding shuttering and reinforcement,if any, in ground floor as per relevant IS codes.(i) Pakur Variety 9 Hire and labour charges for Shuttering with or without staging upto 4.0 m height using approved stout props with wooden planks/ply wood/steel sheet plate with required bracing for any kind of plain or reinforced concrete works in all sorts of minor structure including culvert, box culvert, crossdrain etc. The rate is inclusive of fitting, fixing and striking out after completion of work as per specification and direction.(b) Where staging is not required. 10 Precast cement concrete blocks or lining units as per designed sections and specifications, in nominal mix proportion 1:1.5:3 (corresponding to M20 Grade) with well graded 20 mm down stone metal aggregate, including dressing, ramming, shuttering, finishing thesurface by trowel without adding any additional cement and sand mortar, curing, transporting and laying the blocks or lining units at worksite in position over sand cushion/ filter layer, with cold (paper) joints between the adjacent units having gap varing from 0 to 5 mm as tolerance, with all leads and lifts, including supply and carriage of all materials complete.(The rate is exclusive of the cost of stone aggregate and its carriage upto site. Construction wing has to add the cost of same from the SoR of PW (Roads) to derive the consolidated rate. Consumption chart of the USoR may be used for assessing the quantity of coarse aggregates per cum of concrete).(Stone Aggregate of Pakur or Rajmahal,or broken stone of North Bengal varieties)Note:provisions of the latest departmental manual for lining in Irrigation Canals are to be followed ,when ever applicable. 11 “Cast-in-situ cement concrete blocks or lining units as per designed section and specification, in nominal mix proportion 1:1.5:3 (corresponding to M-20 Grade) with well graded 20mm down stone metal aggregate, laid in positionby casting in alternative panels or otherwise to keep a gap of 12mm between the adjacent units, over a layer of polythene sheet of thickness not less than 100 µmto act as a separator between the bottom surface of the block and the sand cusion/ filter material laid below the blocks, including dressing, ramming, shuttering, finishing the exposed surfacewithout any additional cement and sand mortar, curing and filling the gaps between the adjacent units by 5.6mm down coarse aggregate to be compacted properly, with all leads and lifts including supply and carriage of all materials, complete, without the cost of sand cushion/ filter. (The rate is exclusive of the cost of stone aggregate and its carriage upto site. Construction wing has to add the cost of same from the SoR of PW (Roads) to derive the consolidated rate. With Stone aggregates (Pakurvarieties)Note: Provisions of the latest Departmental Manual for Lining in Irrigation Canals are to be followed, wherever applicable. 12 Providing & fixing Concrete Sign Board as per IRC specification of size 900 x 750 x 37 mm. thick made with RCC 1:1½:3 with pakur variety stone chips reinforced with double layer IRC febric (75 x 75 mm. mesh) and fixed with necessary nuts & bolts on two RC precast posts 100 mm. x 150 mm. of height 2.65 m. of which top 750 mm. is of section 100 x 13 mm. and 1.90 metre above GL & 0.75 metre below GL including digging hole, repacking the same with cement concrete 1:3:6 with jhama khoa or with local stone chips etc. complete including painting two coats on both faces lettering sign marks etc. as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge. (The rate is inclusive of cost of reinforcement, concrete, shuttering, nuts & bolts, washer etc. complete.) 13 Supplying and laying Polythene Sheet (150gm / sq.m.) overdamp proof course or below flooring or roof terracing or infoundation or in foundation trenches. 14 Supplying, spreading and consolidating Moorum to a depth of 75 mm at desired density and C.B.R. as per specification with power roller to proper gradient and camber including watering as necessaryandlightingguarding, barricading and makingadequate earthen bundh where necessary to protect the edges and curing with water for 2 to 3 days, mending cracks by rolling where necessary including all incidental charges of roller, cost of fuel & lubricants etc. complete as per specification. 15 Providing, laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregates of specific sizes to water bound macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing, rolling with vibratory roller 8-10 tonnes in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming requisite type of screening / binding materials to fill up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering including lighting, guarding, barricading and making necessary earthen bundh of one metre width on each side and preparing the bed by necessary cutting or filling, including cost of all materials and hire and labour charges of all men and machinery and compacting to the required density, as per Clause 404 of Specifications for Road & Bridge Works of MoRT&H (5th Revision). (iii) Grading-II Aggregate (53 mm to 22.4 mm) Using Stone Screening Type B (11.2 mm) B. (Cost is excluding the cost of end pieces)c) 1.20 metre x 0.60 metre nominal section 18 Supplying, fitting, fixing end pieces for rectangular / square / circular sausages at the ends,with 10 SWG/8 SWG GI wire net of different mesh sizes tying & sewing the same maintaning a lap langth of 150mm all around with 12 SWG GI wire complete, including the cost of supplyof wire netting ,fitting etc,complete as per direction of the Engineer-in charge.b) Mesh size 125 mm x 125 mm with 10 SWG wire 19 Providing Chute drains 250 x 300 mm (inside dimensions) across Embankment Slopes in approaches of Bridges and on horizontal curves consists of earthwork in excavation for foundations of structures as per drawings and technical specifications Clause 307 for Rural Roads of MORD including setting out construction of shoring and bracing deleterious matter, dressings of sides and bottom and backfilling with approved material (By manual means), Plain Cement Concrete (1:2:4), 125 mm thick Brick Masonry followed by 20 mm thick plastering (1:4) and 75 mm thick Coping with M-20 Concrete on top of the Chute Walls as per specification, drawing and direction of the Engineer-in-Charge. 20 Box cutting or filling in Road embankment in all sorts of soil including spreading the spoils properly over the flank as necessary or on berm to approximate grade & camber and rolling the sub-grade with power roller to proper camber and grade as per direction and satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge including uprooting and removing plants and jungles when and where necessary.a) Depth up to 150 mm. 21 Labour charge for dumping / laying of Laterite / Stone Boulders 20kg & above / Shingles / Brick Bats, from stack of worksite with all leads and lifts in water or spreading the same on the slope of the bank of River / Sea or the slope of the embankment or in the River / Sea bed to an uniform thickness as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge including cost of all accessories and other incidental charges. (a) Boulder 20kg & above where boats are not necessary. 22 Plaster (to wall, floor,ceiling etc.) with sand and cement mortar including rounding off or chamfering corners as directed and raking out joints including throating, nosing and drip course,scaffolding/staging where necessary (Ground floor).[Excluding cost of chipping over concrete surface].(ii) With 1:4 cement mortarb) 15 mm. thick plaster. 23 Applying Exterior grade Acrylic primer of approved quality and brand on plastered or cencrete surface old or new surface to receive decorative textured (matt finish) or smooth finish acrylic exterior emulsion paint including scraping and preparing the surface throughly,In Ground Floor:(a) One Coat[This item to be done under specific instruction of the Superintending Engineer] 24 Protective and Decorative Acrylic exterior emulsion paint of approved quality, as per manufacturers specification and as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge to be applied over acrylic primer as required. The rate includes cost of material, labour, scaffolding and all incidental charges but excluding the cost of primer. 25 Extra rate for using water proofing and plasticisingadmixture @ 0.2% by weight of cement(or at manufacturers specified rate) for concrete of various grade.
