Laying of reinstatement polymer mortar or micro concrete shall be completed within the overlay time of bonding coat. This bond coat act as bonding agent between old and new concrete. Rate includes all material, labour for fixing, removing and keeping in position till the setting of Micro concrete and removing theshuttering.(i) Work to be carried out in patches.(ii) The rates for scaffolding system to be used upto 15 mtr workable height shall be deemed including in the above rates and no extra shall be paid over & above the quoted rates. 127 Microconcrete Reinstatement and jacketting for Columns/Beams/Facia/Chajjas/ Roof Projections:Providing and laying of special repair material micro-concrete, for jacketing of Columns using single component, shrinkage compensated, high strength, high flow cementitious micro-concrete having compressive strength minimum of 50 N/mm2 at 28 days such as ShaliFix MC of STP Ltd or equivalent, blended with washed saturated surface-dry (SSD), graded aggregates of size 3mm to 10mm at 50% by weight of micro concrete (if thickness is 100mm or more) and water as per data sheet and pouring into the shuttering by hopper type form work using suitable arrangement for uniform flow of Microconcrete. The side shuttering can be removed after Minimum of 24 hours, preferably 3 days and the bottom shuttering after 7 days ensuring proper bond between the micro concrete and existing concrete substrate. The system consists of one coat primer (ShaliPrime AC WB) over prepared surface and polymer coating (ShaliKote AC WB) to give film thickness of 200 – 225 microns for two coats depending on method of application and smoothness of concrete surface. Surface Preparation should include grinding or wire brushing and removal of all loose particles, dust, oil and other contaminants. For smooth surface finishes, final preparation should include filling of all bugholes / uneven surfaces in the concrete, using suitable putty or equivalent. Polymer coating should be in suitable approved shades, including suitable surface preparation as described above, cost of materials and labour for applying the above coating, etc.(i) Work to be
