Tender For Periodical Services To Ora Under Age Br I Maint At Ina Ezhimala; 1 M&L for preparation of old treated surfaces and appling one coat of acrylic emulsion paint (interior grade) having VOC content less than 50 gms/litre, of approved manufacturer, of required shade and colour complete, as per manufacturers specification on walls complete all as specified and as directed. 2 All as per item No.01 above but two coats of interior acrylic emulsion paint complete all as specified and as directed. 3 M&L for preparation of old decorated surfaces and applying two coats of white wash on ceiling complete all as specified and as directed. 4 M&L for preparation of old decorated surfaces and applying one coat of acrylic emulsion on ceiling complete all as specified and as per manufacturers instructions. 5 M&L for preparation of old painted wall surfaces including brooming down or steel wire brushing, scrapping down smoke soot, moulds, moss, efflorescent salts, trading oil, greasy spots etc and applying one coat of exterior emulsion paint weather coat smooth (Berger make or equivalent make in Asian paints/Nerolac) over a coat of primer with sealant properties using seal - o - prime or weather coat exterior primer (Berger make or equivalent make in Asian paints/Nerolac) using rollers made from foam or synthetic fibres to get a smooth and tint free surfaces complete all as specified and as directed. 6 All as per item No.05 above but two coats of exterior emulsion paint weather coat smooth (Berger make or equivalent make in Asian paints/Nerolac) over a coat of primer with sealant properties using seal - o - prime or weather coat exterior primer (Berger make or equivalent make in Asian paints/Nerolac) using rollers made from foam or synthetic fibres to get a smooth and tint free surfaces complete all as specified and as directed. 7 M&L for rendering 15mm thick on fair faces of brick work or concrete surfaces in cement plaster 1:6, to be finished even and smooth without using extra cement including taking down cement plaster of any description on brick wall, ceiling etc.raking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water etc complete all as specified and as directed. 8 M&L for preparation of old painted steel surfaces of any description over 10 cm width or girth and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint on steel surfaces complete all as specified and as directed. 9 All as per item No.08 above but two coats of synthetic enamel paint complete all as specified and as directed. 10 M&L for treating holes, cracks etc upto 5 mm by making V groove using patti blades, filling the cracks with ready to use crack fillers and allowed to dry complete all as specified and as directed. 11 M&L for treating holes cracks etc. more than 10 mm and upto 40 mm and filling the cracks by using flexible 2 pack poly sulphide sealants like Berger home shield joint seal GG / PG (Asian Paints/Berger/Dr.Fixit make or equivalent) and allowed to dry complete all as specified and as directed. 12 M&L for complete removal of existing painting/treatment and applying one coat of damp guard of approved manufacturer on exposed surfaces all as per manufacturers instructions and as directed.Make:- Berger Damp stop advanced / Dr fixit damp guard classic/Asian paints smart care damp proof. 13 M&L for preparation of wall surfaces and applying exterior water proofing wall care putty and finishing the surface even and smooth complete all as specified and as directed.Make:- Berger paints /Asian paints /Dr fixit. 14 M&L for preparation of old treated mangalore pattern roof tile surface by cleaning the surfaces with jet washing and wire brushes to remove all existing fungal growth etc. and applying one coat of antifungal paint using Asian Paints tile guard/ Berger PU tile coat /Nerolac or equivalent tile guard paint complete all as per manufacturers instructions.Note:- The work shall be carried out on upto double storey slopping roof, chajja etc. and contractor is required to make necessary arrangements for water and electricity required for jet washing and rate quoted is deemed to be included for above. 15 Dismantling single layer of mangalore pattern tiles in roofing complete all as specified and as directed. 16 Refixing roof tiles mangalore pattern interlocking tiles obtained from item No.15 above complete all specified and as directed. 17 M&L for fixing roof tiles mangalore pattern interlocking tiles any size, laid dry complete all specified and as directed. 18 M&L for applying two coats of antifungal / weather resistant acrylic emulsion paint having VOC less than 50 gm/litre and UV resistance as per IS 15489:2004, alkali & fungal/algae resistance, dirt resistance exterior paint of required shade (company depot tinted) with silicon additives, coverage @ 6 to 7 Sqm / ltr (two coats) over and including priming coat of exterior primer applied @ 11 Sqm/ltr (for one coat) over old painted surfaces including complete removal of existing treatment/ preparation of existing surfaces as per site condition and cleaning the surfaces with bio wash to receive new treatment complete all specified and as directed. Contractor should take necessary precautions such as laying plastic sheets on floors/covering windows etc to ensure that paint drops and splashes are not dropped on floors/handrails/windows/sunshades etc. in case paint splashes/drops are found contractor should clean all the paint marks otherwise a recovery of Rs 10/Sqm shall be made for the qrtrs/bldgs affected.2. The work of periodical services shall be carried out as up to G+2 building. Necessary steel scaffolding shall be provided by the contractor. All safety measures shall be strictly adhered.3. Contractor shall also ensure medical/life insurance cover for the labour party and the copy of the same shall be submitted by the contractor to the GE through EIC.4. The contractor shall submit the guarantee of 5 years life for item No.18 (Two coats of Premium acrylic emulsion paint on exterior surfaces)5. The work item Nos 14 & 18 ( One coats of tile guard paint on roof and two coats of premium acrylic emulsion paint on exterior surfaces) shall be applied by mechanical sprayer through authorized company applicator of approved shade., necessary certificates of authorised applicator has to be submitted by contractor before commencement of work.6. Contractor should procure entire qty required for item Nos14 & 18 as per CA qty at a time or in various consignments as per requirement (with minimum requirement of three months)and material shall be stored in covered godown /store room in such a manner as to prevent deterioration or any damage. The storage, accounting and preservation of material procured by the contractor shall be done as per standard engineering practice till the same is incorporated in the work and the cost of the same shall be deemed to be included in the unit rate/amount quoted by the tenderer. 7. Material store room shall be provided with two locks on each door. The key of one lock at each door shall remain with the Engineer-in-charge or his representative and that of the other lock with the contractor‟s authorised agent at site of works so that materialis removed from the godown only according to daily requirement with the knowledge of both the parties. 8. The contractor shall submit original purchase vouchers for the total quantity of material to be incorporated in the work.9. Painting of roof tiles (Item No 14) is required to be carried out over double storey slopping roof, chajja etc upto height 10 m above GL and contractor is required to make necessary arrangements for water and electricity required for jet washing and rate quoted is deemeed to be included for above.10. The contracts involving working at elevated locations of buildings, contractor should ensure proper safety arrangements as per norms. Wearing safety belts and helmets are mandatory. A penalty of Rs 1000 per day will be recovered from contractor if safety norms are not followed.
