Tender For Provision Of 03 X Single Jcos Accn For Jcos(S/S) At Aipt Under Ge (C) Pune.; 1 Carrying out Soil investigation as per following details - (a) 01 Nos bore holes of 10.00 m depth (b) 01 Nos trial pit 1.20 x 1.20 x3.00m depthScope of work :-(i) Mobilization of necessary equipments, men and material to the project site for carrying out the geotechnical investigation and demobilization of the same after completion of the field works etc. All complete as per specification, drawings and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.(ii) General clearance of site and removal of shrubs, bushes etc. up to 150 mm below ground level and disposing at places as directed by Engineer-in-charge.(iii) Making 100 mm nominal diameter bore holes at various locations using Rotary Rig up to soil.(iv) After reaching the rock, the bore holes as above are to be extended by core drilling (Nx size) in rocky strata using rotary drilling and double tube core barrel with diamond bits up to required depth below the existing ground surface as per directions of Engineer-in-Charge including collection and preservation of rock samples, recording of core recovery (%) and R.Q.D (%) as specified.(v) Recording the depth of ground water table in all the bore holes if observed up to the depth of exploration during boring work as per IS & withdrawing the casing pipe.(vi) Collecting, packing and labelling the Undisturbed Samples in soil strata.(vii) Conducting Standard Penetration Tests (SPT) is soil, soft and weathered rock and collecting, packing and labelling the samples.(viii) Conducting the following laboratory tests on selected soil samples collected from the test locations:- Grain Size Analysis, Free Swell, Atterberg Limit.(ix) Conducting the following laboratory tests on selected Rock samples collected from the test locations:- Porosity, Unconfined Compressive Strength (UCS) Test, Water absorption, Dry density(x) Photos snaps of all bore holes of entire testing during taking soil samples to be provided.(xi) Topographical survey of entire site of approx area-123.60 Sqm. 2 Following parameters will also form part of the Geo-Exploration Report to be submitted by the Soil Consultants :-(a) RL of the Ground level/founding level with ref to a BM should invariably be mentioned in the soil investigation report. Location of Bore Holes and GL shall be clearly marked on Site Plan or Layout Plan of the proposed bldgs and shall be standard part of the report. (b) Recommended SBC should be given for :- (i) All the bore holes. (ii) Minimum at there depths viz 1.5m, 2.0m and 2.5m. In case of security wall, it should be given for 1.2m, 1.5m, 2.0m, 2.5m and 3.0m. (iii) In case of special structures like, high rise bldgs, OHT, tower like structure etc, this HQ may beconsulted for specific advice. (iv) SBC should be worked out for following sizes of footings :-(aa) 1.5 x 1.5m(ab) 1.5 x 2.5m(ac) 2.0 x 2.5m(ad) 2.0 x 3.0m(ae) 2.5 x 3.0m(c) Photographic record of geo-exploration as well as testing shall also from part of the report. Also, soil or rock samples left out after Lab tests shall be handed over to the AGE B/R or Engineer-in-Charge.(d) Recommendation as regards possibility of liquefaction of soil in case of saturated or partially saturated loose/ uncompacted sandy soils.(e) Swelling Index and Swelling Pressure in respect of Black Cotton soil and its depth/layer.(f) Depth of Ground Water Table (GWT) in peak monsoon (lowest) and peak summer (highest) after correlation of result with seasonal variation of water table in the station.(g) Recommendation for filling under floors and improvement of existing subsoil using proper soil stabilization methods or stabilization of soil underneath foundation systems.
