It is mandatory to recharge the extinguisher by manufacturer or authorized agent of manufacturer of the existing fire extinguishers brand in conformity with IS 15683 : 2018. Note that the certificates for satisfactory refilling have to be furnished from the manufacturer or its authorized agent at the time of supplying of the refilled fire extinguishers.All other statutory markings/levelling have to be done as per IS-2190 : 2024 code of practice.
