Tender For Replacing Defective Roof Sheets And Accessories Of Various Sheds Of Nfc Hyderabad.; 1 EARTH WORK: 2 Felling down carefully trees of girth (measured at a height of 1.0m above ground level) as mentioned below including necessary excavation, removal / destruction of roots, filling the excavated pockets thus formed with good earth, compacting the same, cutting the trunks and branches of trees into suitable pieces for transporting, transporting, stacking and disposing the same at the locations as directed by Engineer - in - Charge, etc., complete. 3 Beyond 60 cm girth upto and including 120 cm girth 4 Beyond 120 cm girth upto and including 240 cm girth 5 Clearing jungle including uprooting of rank vegetation, grass, brush wood, trees and saplings of girth up to 30 cm measured at a height of 1 m above ground level and removal of rubbish up to a distance of 50 m outside the periphery of the area cleared etc. complete as specified and directed. 6 ROOF SHEET AND CLADDING WORK: 7 Supplying and fixing new Fibre Reinforced Cement Corrugated sheets, 6mm thick of Charminar/ Visakha/ everest make conforming to IS 459 and laying as per IS 3007 at various elevations in areas as given below using necessary safety nets, Roof walk ladders and other standard safety devices including all overlaps, mitring, fixing the sheets with necessary 8mm dia polymer coated self tapping/ self drilling screws required length, including GI & EPDM washers as per manufactures code of Practice and cutting the sheets as required etc., removing and refixing of sorrounding sheets, complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. NOTE : 1. Payment will be made for area of sheets replaced, NOT for quantity of sheets removed and refixed.2. Replacing roof sheets shall be done by following all safety procedures including requirement of working personnel having valid height pass, use of double lanyard safety belts hooked to lifelines and all as per guidelines of Engineer-in-charge. 8 Area of replaced sheets is upto 30 Sq.m. 9 Area of replaced sheets is beyond 30 Sq.m. 10 Polycarbonate sheets of 2.0mm thick, pressed to matching through corrugations of roofing of GE/TUFFLITE equivalent make (as approved by Engineer-in-charge) for Sky lights including sealing around sheetswith GE/TUFFLITE siliconates or any other sealant, treating for rainproof, fixing sheeting with SS or polymer coated self tapping screws, EPDM & GI washers etc., complete as directed by Engineer-in-charge 11 Providing and fixing in position approved quality weather tight accessories such as RIDGES (PAIR), in required shape and profile made of fibre reinforced cement including neessary cutting, profiling, sealants, flat iron buckets, EPDM/beadings etc all complete in accordance with approved manufactures standard practice using all appropriate safety devises and following safety procedures as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. 12 Providing and fixing in position approved quality weather tight accessories such as CORNER PIECE/ NORTH LIGHT CURVE, various types of flashing, gutters (including straps), trims in roofing, cladding in required shape and profile made offibre reinforced cement corrugated sheets including necessary cutting , profiling, sealant, flat iron buckets, EPDM/beading etc all complete in accordance with approved manufacturers standard practice and as directed by Engineer in charge. 13 Making groove not less than 50mm deep in brickwork at gable end of the buildings for removing the damaged roofing sheets, inserting the new/existing fiber reinforced cement corrugated sheet into the groove on cement mortar bed and filling the groove with cement mortar 1:4 admixed with approved water proofing compound at dose as recommended by manfacturer, finishing it smooth including all tools, required steel scaffolding etc., complete as directed by Engineer-in-charge. 14 Providing and fixing double scaffolding system (cup lock type) on the exterior side, up to seven story height made with 40 mm dia M.S. tube 1.5 m centre to centre, horizontal & vertical tubes joining with cup & lock system with M.S. tubes, M.S. tube challies, M.S. clamps and M.S. staircase system in the scaffolding for working platform etc. and maintaining it in a serviceable condition for the required duration as approved and removing it there after. The scaffolding system shall be stiffened with bracings, runners, connection with the building etc wherever required for inspection of work at required locations with essential safety features for the workmen etc. complete as per directions and approval of Engineer-in-charge .The elevational area of the scaffolding shall be measured for payment purpose .The payment will be made once irrespective of duration of scaffolding. 15 Transportation of damaged roof sheets and debris etc., generated from above items by engaging tractor trolley including cost of fuel, wages of driver and required manpower for loading, transporting upto a lead of 2.0KM, unloading and stacking, material in the place shown by engineer-in-charge etc., complete as directed. (Note : The size of tractor trolly shall not be less than 3.0mX1.9mX0.45m) payment shall be made for each trip. 16 Transportation of dismantled/ removed damaged fiber reinforced cement corrugated sheets, FRP sheets, gutters, ridges etc. generated including loading, transportation out of NFC and to be disposed off through a Municipal Solid Waste management agency/ establishment, Ramkey or M/s HMEP or any approved licensec agency and disposed off in safe manner as per CPCB norms and providing a certificate to this extent. 17 Supplying and fixing Butyl rubber waterproof self adhesive UV resistant flashing tape of 100mm width, of approved make on cracked/damaged roof sheets. Note: Rate will include cost of surface preperation as per manufacturers specification. Overlapping will not be paid. Leak testing to be done post installaiton of flashing tape on roof sheeting 18 Supplying and installation of EPDM retrofit pipe flashing of make Dektite or other approved equivalent around pipe of size 235 to 425 mm.suggested model: Dektite RFS4Note: Rate to include cost of surface preperation and fixtures or fittings required forinstallation of pipe flashing.Leak testing to be done post installaiton. 19 PIPING AND ROOF GUTTER WORKS : 20 Providing and fixing110 mm n.b. un-plasticised PVC rain water pipes (single socketed pipes) with necessary PVC clamps and wooden gutties of approved make conforming to IS: 13592 type ‘A’ with injection moulded fittings, jointing with approved synthetic adhesive or seal rings conforming to IS: 5382 to make junctions leakproof, embedding the pipe into the slab/ gutter, fixing it to wall with proper fittings, testing complete in line, level and plumb all as directed. (used for rain water downcomer pipes) 21 Providing water proofing treatment to the roof gutters with cold applied, Acrylic Elastomeric liquid membrane coating over one coat of crystallization coating system Pidilite /Fosroc/Cica in the following sequence:a) Cleaning the surfaces from dirt, dust and other contaminationsb) Identifying the areas of leakage by approved means.c) Pressure grouting the area of leakage with cement slurry admixed with expansive grouting additive Conbex 100 of M/s Armstrong or its approved equivalent at a minimum one grout point per 2 Sqm slab area.d) Exposing, cleaning and filling cracks observed in RCC slab with polymer modified mortar compound/PU sealant.e) Cutting V grooves along concrete and masonry junctions and filling the same with single part Polyurethane sealant,.f) Pre wetting the surface of slab and application of one coat of crystallization coating system Xypex / Roofex@ 0.25 lt. /Sqm.g) Applying two coats of high soild, cold applied, Acrylic Elastomeric liquid membrane coating as primer coat at 1:1 dilution@ 250 ml/sqm/coat and 1st coat at 20% dilution @450ml/sqm/coat.h) Laying Fiber mesh on the surface.i) Over the Fiber mesh, Application of two coats of high solid, cold applied, Acrylic Elastomeric liquid membrane coating at 20% dilution @ 450 ml/sq.m/coat,all as per approved manufacturer’s specifications and as directed by Engineer in Charge. 22 Cleaning the RCC/MSrain water Gutters of various sizes at all elevations above plinth level including conveying , lifting water to the required elevation, pouring in to rainwater down take pipes, poking and clearing the choke if any, collecting dry leaves, waste etc. which were accumulated over the gutters and conveying all the debris upto a lead of 100 metres placing in heaps at the places shown and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. 23 CONCRETE WORKS : 24 Plain Cement Concrete 1:3:6 using Portland PozzolanaCement conforming to IS 1489 Part-1 (M/s. ACC, Ultra Tech, Ambuja, Birla make) with crushed stone sand and graded stone aggregates of 20mm maximum size at all depths/heights below/above plinth level including consolidation, finishing smooth/broom finish as applicable, curing, etc.,but excluding Formwork, complete as specified and directed. 25 WIND DRIVEN TURBO VENTILATORS 26 Supplying and fixing of 24 inch SS 304 wind driven turbo ventilators of size (410mm X 735mm) with 40 to 42 no of vanes of 0.5mm thick rolled formed SS steel having double permanently lubricated and sealed bearing of heavy quality, to be mounted on UV treated FRP Base plate (more than 60 % light transmission) fixing with fiber reinforced cement corrugated Roof Sheeting With Suitable self tapping screw or with FRP Coating to make leak proof complete as directed by engineer-in charge. 27 DEMOLISHING WORKS 28 Removing the existing broken/cracked fiber reinforced cement corrugatedroofing Sheets, ridges, hips, vallys, gutters, FRP roofing sheets etc., including G.I. Bolts, Nuts, washers and bitumen washers etc. carefully including required scaffolding and stacking the materials at a lead of 1.0 km as directed by Engineer-in- charge. 29 Removing the damaged rainwater downtake pipes of all diameters from all heights, including clamps and stacking the pipes at notified area within a lead of 100m 30 Dismantling/breaking the existing plain cement concrete surfaces carefully in flooring, ramp etc. to the required size, using pneumatic cutters or any approved means including disposing of debris within a distance of 50 m etc., complete as specified and directed. 31 Dismantling very carefully the existing reinforced cement concrete at all depths and heights below and above plinth level using pneumatic cutters or any approved means including cutting the reinforcement and transporting bars to departmental stores disposing the debris within the lead of 50 m complete as specified and directed 32 Dismantling very carefully the existing Brick masonry in cement mortar with plastering on both sides very carefully at depths/heights above/below plinth level by suitable methods including erection of suitable scaffolding, stacking of useful materials and disposing the unserviceable debris within the lead of 50m, etc., complete as specified and directed.
