Tender For Special Repair To Officers Married Accn Block No P34 04 Quarters At Manekshaw Enclave Under Ge S Ambala Cant; 1 Material and labour for cutting holes exc 400 Sq. cm but not exc 0.10 sqm into or through brick walls built in cement mortar and making good in cement concrete 1:2:4 type B0 1 as required complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. 2 Material and labour Forming jambs, etc to openings, including cutting, toothing and properly bonding into old work, also facing, jointing and pointing to match existing work; new work built in cement mortar 1:6, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. 3 Demolition of cement concrete (any type) for existing sunken portion of WC/Floor trap incl removing of all debris from site to a distance exc 250 m but not exc 500m and deposited where directed incl cleaning of surface with wire brushes and water , complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. 4 Material and labour in repair for 40mm dia (Bore) GI pipe medium grade as in spout complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. 5 Material and labour for PCC 1:5:10 type E2 using 40mm graded aggregate as in filling in sunken portion floor ,rounded or chamfered on edges complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. 6 Material and labour for sunken floor water proofing treatment complete all as under - (a) scrapping the surface with wire brush and cleaning with water and allow to dry (b) Applying cement slurry @ 3.0 kg/sqm duly mixed with water proofing compound (C) 15 mm thick cement plaster 1:3 with additional floating/setting coat mixed with water proofing compound as per manufacture instruction ( the corner will made rounded in concave shape)(D) Applying cement slurry @ 3.0 kg/sqm duly mixed with water proofing compound (E) apply one coat of hot bitumin grade 85/25 conforming to IS 702 @ 1.2 kg/sqm . (f) supply and laying APP with non woven polyster reinforced sheet 3mm thick weight not less than 3.00 kg/sqm (G) Applying one coat of hot blown bitumin grade 85/25 conforming to IS-702 @1.20 kg/sqm (H) Curing the sunken portion with water min 48 hours by ponding. (Water proofing compound shall measured and paid separately), complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. 7 Demolition of brick work built in CM incl all quions arches, pillar etc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.. 8 Material and labour for brick work with old size sub class ‘B’ bricks,straight or curved on plan to any radiousbuilt in cement mortar (1:4) complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. 9 All as per item No 08.00 above but except bricks. 10 Material and labour for Brickwork with subclass ‘B’ bricks, straight or curved on plan to any radius in half brick thick walls built in cement mortar 1:4 etc ,complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. 11 Material and labour for dubbing out average 10 mm thick on irregular surfaces of soffit of slab/chajjas/sunshades etc in CM 1:4 complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. 12 Material and labour for providing one layer of guiniting of thickness not exceeding 50 mm provided steel reinforcement and chicken wire mesh if required by means of tinned tracks or welded to existing reinforcement in CM 1:3 for top & bottom of roof slabs, beams, columns and staircase etcincl scaffolding at any height incl MSchicken wire mesh of weight exceeding 0.25 kg/sqm and n.exe 4kg/sqm complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. 13 Taking down Cement plaster on brick or stone walls incl raking out joints hacking for key & scrubbing down with water etc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. 14 Material and labour for 5 mm thick cement plaster in CM 1:3 as in soffits of slabs/Chajja/ Sunshade finishing the plastered surface even & smooth without using extra cement etc,complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. 15 Material and labour Rendering 10 mm thickon fair faces of brick work or concrete surfaces, finished even and fair (without using extra cement) on walls in cement mortar (1:6), complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. 16 Material and labour for rendering 15mm thick on fair faces of brick work or concrete surfaces, finished even and fair on walls in cement mortar (1:4), using water proofing compound complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.NOTE: WPC will be measured and paid for separately 17 Material and labour for rendering 5mm thick in (1:3) cm on fair faces of ceiling finished even and smooth without using extra cement, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. 18 Material and labour for rough cast plastering over and incl 10 mm thick rendering in cement mortar 1:3 and while it is still in plastic state the roughcast mixture consisting of crushed stone or fine gravel aggregate (which is generally of size between 6 to 12 mm depending on the texture required) mixed with coarse sand and cement in the ratio of 1: 1: 1 shall be applied and finished even. The mix of cement and sand shall be made slightly wetter than normal for rendering to ensure that larger aggregates are thoroughly covered. Rough cast plaster shall be applied asspecified clause 14.22 of SSR Part-I, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. 19 Supply only integral water proofing comound ISI Marked complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. 20 Material and labour for preparation of exposed brick wall surface by cleaning the surface with wire brush to remove all dirt/loose materials from the bricks and from the joints between the bricks.Prepared surface should be then washed with diluted HCL acid (dilution ratio of 1:50) for three times in a day for two days. After acid wash surface should be allowed to be air dried for one day.Note : Further treatment over the surface so achievedwill be carried out only after approval of the same by GE.Note:- This item shall be executed by authorised applicator only. for carrying out efflorescence treatment to exposed and prepared wall surfacehere–in–abovein following sequence :–(a) Prime the prepared surface with one of the following product mixed with cement in 1:1ratio as bonding agent :–(i) Pidicrete URP of M/S Pidilite (ii)Sika Latex of M/s Sika (iii) Nitobond SBR Latex of M/s FOSROC(b) Immediately after priming the surface PMM (Polymer Modified Mortar) to be applied BY HAND while the primer is tacky.PMM should be prepared by mixing one of the following compounds in Cement Mortar 1:3 as per manufacturers instructions :–(i) Pidicrete URP of M/S Pidilite (ii)Sika Latex of M/s Sika (iii) Nitobond SBR Latex of M/s FOSROC(c) PMM surface should be allowed to dry one day.After that it should be painted with two coats of one of the following compound mixed with cement only in ratio of one part of selected compound and one point fire part of cement :–(i) Pidicrete URP of M/S Pidilite (ii)Sika Latex of M/s Sika(iii) Nitobond SBR Latex of M/s FOSROC(d)Now apply two coats of one of the following compound over the surface.These compounds are to be used as per manufacturer instructions :–(i) Pidifin 2K of M/S Pidilite (ii)Brush Coat (iii) Brush Bond Note : Both coats should be perpendicular to each other and gap between two coats shall be minimum 6 hours.(e) Sprinkle loose coarse sand after second coat while surface is tacky.Note: (i) Item will be executed by authorised applicator of the selected /approved company only. (ii) Every stage of work will be approved by GE then only next layer will be executed by contractor. 21 Material and labour for applying Two or more coats of 100 % Premium acrylic emulsion paint having VOC less than 50 gm/litre and UV resistance as per IS-15489:2004, Alkali & fungal resistance, dirt restance exterior paint of required shade (Company Depot Tinted) with silicon additives @ 1.43 ltre/10 Sqm over 2mm thick wall care putty and icluding priming coat of exterior primer applied @ 0.90 litre/10 Sqm over new/Oldsurfaces complete as all specified and directed by Engineer-In-Charge. 22 Material and labour for three coats of white lime wash on new plastered surfaces of ceiling including preparation of surfacescomplete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. 23 cement slurry & pointed in white/coloured cement to match the tiles over and including 15mm thick screed bed incement mortar 1:6 complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. 44 Material and labour for glazed ceramic colouredtiles 450x350x7 mm thick onvertical surface such as skirting , dado etc. over 10 mm thick backing coat plaster in CM 1:4 complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. 45 Material and labour forVitrifiedceramic tiles light shade 8 to 9mm thick (Square/rectangular) polished, area of each tiles not exceeding 0.36 Sqm, in floor etc set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in coloured cement to matchthe shade selected quality laid over and including 15mm thick screed bedding layer in CM (1:4) make and sample as approved by
