Tender For Smart Periodical Services To Certain Bldgs At Mil Stn Samba Under Ge Samba; 1 Complete removal of existing treatment on wall/ roof projections including facia, cornices etc by scrapping with mechanical sander (having mechanical vaccum mechanism) having RPM not less than 1500, sanding pad of 80 grit having dia of 7 /9 to make free from dust, loose paint etc by skilled labour complete all as specified and directed. 2 M & L for water proof cement based putty @ 1 kg (undiluted) per Sqm of average thickness 1mm over the plastered/ old prepared painted surface of walland sanding of the putty surface with mechanical wall sander (having mechanical vaccum mechanism) having RPM not less than 1500, sanding pad of 240 grit or above to make the surface free from dust etc by skilled labour as per the following steps:-Step 1 :- Mix the putty powder by adding water as per manufacturers instruction and mix it with putty mixer with the mixing capacity of min 2.5 kg putty per minute.Step 2 :- Apply the first coat of the prepared mixer with the help of fully automatic airless spray machine of putty application finishing the surface even and smooth in level without any undulations.Step 3 :- Allow 6-8 hrs time to dry the putty surface 3 M & L for one coat of acrylic water based exterior grade primer @ 0.9 litre (undiluted)/ 10sqm diluted with water in 1:1 ratio to be applied with fully automatic airless spray machine and allow 6-8 hours to dry the surface for painting of subsequent coats complete all as specified and directed. 4 M & L for water based premium acrylic smooth exterior emulsion of approved colour with silicon additive excellent dirt pickup resistance with low VOC less than 50, Antifungal / Anti Algai properties in two coats @ 1.79 litre (undiluted) / 10 Sqm diluted with water as per manufacturers instruction applied over primed surface with fully automatic airless spray machine of paint application with a flow speed of minimum 1 litre per minute having a pressure of 3300 PSI. Allow 6-8 hrs to dry the surface in between subsequent coats of paint complete all as specified and directed.Note for item No. 1 to 4 :-The work for periodical services shall include the following and the rates quoted by the bidders shall include the same :-(a) The work pertaining to periodical services shall be executed by the contractor as per MoU from authorised applicator through manufacturer ofthe materials like Exterior Emulsion paint, putty etc after approval by the GE. (b) The Contractor shall upload with the documents under cover I Memoradum of Understanding (MOU) with at least one of the manufacturers mentioned in the contract, failing which the bid shall be laible to be rejected.(c) Use of Scaffolding, trestles, ladders, cradles etc necessary for execution of work and protective measures.(d) Removing of Nails, making good holes, cracks etc(e) Work in patches and in narrow / widths, bands, cornices, pilasters etc and cutting in edge of line where necessary.(f) Spreading and removing covering to doors, windows, floors, fittings etc to protect them from splashes.(g) Washing floors, cleaning glass, joinery , electric fittings , wirings etc. Drops and splashes of paint to be cleaned to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge.(h) Sample patch of 10Sqm be prepared considering all the items of periodical and shall be got approved from GE prior to carrying out further work. 5 M&L for cement plastering 12 mm thickin cemet mortar 1:4 includingfinished the surface using WPC liquid of make Dr. Fixit or STP as per manufacturer instruction @ 0.200 ltr in 50 Kg of cement (WPC shall be measured and paid separately)on brick work or concrete surfaces or in chajjas/parapet walls etc finished even and smooth with using extra cement incl taking down of existing plaster of any description complete all as specified anddirected. Note : WPC will be measured and paid separately. 6 M&L for rendering or plastering work 10mm thick in CM 1:3 in fascia / edging / ceiling of Chajjas,roof projections etc, using WPC liquid including taking out peeled off plaster / concrete if requiredand making the line in true shape and finishing the surface without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed. 7 M & L for cleaning, breaking, loose concrete, changingofcorressive reinforcement and filling plain cement concrete 1:1 1/2 :3 type B0 using 12.5mm graded aggregate at places like chajja ,sunchades ,roof projection ,fascia ,etccomplete all as specified and directed. (the cost of scafoldings, formworks deemed to be included in the item)Note :- Reinforcement shall be measured and paid seperately. 8 M&L for Mild steel TMT bars 10mm dia and over cut to length bent to shape required including cranking, bending, binding with mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia complete all as specified and directed. 9 Supply only integral water proofing compound complete all as specified and directed. 10 Writing letter or figures (Block, Roman, Italic or Indian) n exc 30 cm high complete all and the colour of paint and dimension of letter to be used complete all as specified and directed. 11 Writing Stops, commas, short lines, dashes, huphesn, brackets etc and the colour of paint and dimension of characters to be used as approved by Engr-in-Charge. 12 M & L for preparing old painted steel and iron surfaces of any description, not otherwise described over 10 cm width or girth and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint complete all as specified and directed. 13 M&l for preparation of old painted wooden surface of any description exc 10cm width or girth and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paintcomplete all as specified and directed .Note : Item No 1 to 12 (The cost for steel tubular double scaffolding necessary for execution of work and protective measures for height more than height of double/triplestorey building as directed by Engr-in-charge shall be included in the quoted rate against the respective item and nothing shall be admisible for this.) 14 Note:- The contract sum arrived after deduction of amount of Sch of credit as listed in tender Documents.
