| 1 | Royalty for excavation, transportation, filling of earthwork etc. including obtaining permission from statutory authority, if any shall be borne by the contractor. |
| 2 | Dismantling of concrete, brick masonry etc. shall be carried out with prior written approval of the Engineer-in-charge. Safety of the existing structure shall be ensured while taking up the dismantling works. |
| 3 | The contractor shall provide adequate safety net both horizontally & vertically at all floor levels all aroundto ensuresafety against any accidental falling of the construction materials, debris etc. without any extra cost. |
| 4 | The tenderer shall provide barricade consisting of MS angle / pipe posts runners, bracing & corrugated GI sheet of approved colour for a height upto 3m to separate the working area, maintaining the barricade in good condition including removing the same after completion of the work without any cost to Department. Prior written the same after completion of the work without any cost to Department. Prior written approval of Engineer in Charge of the sketch/drawing showing details of barricading shall be obtained by the contractor. Barricading including gates etc. around the site as per instruction of Engineer in Charge must be completed before commencement of the work. No work shall be allowed unless the barricading is completed to the satisfaction of the Engineer in Charge. A certificate from the Engineer in Charge must be submitted by the contractor for completion of barricading along with 1st RA bill for releasing the payment. Quoted rate are inclusive of this job. |
| 5 | Vehicular movement shall abide by the regulations imposed by the concerned authorities. The contractor shall abide by the security rules & regulations of the Department. The approach roads should be kept clean & free from obstruction for smooth functioning of the traffic. |
| 6 | While transporting materials from site, and disposal of surplus materials, the spilled over materials / earth / debris/ RMC Concrete etc. on the road should be got cleaned by the contractors after the day\"s work is over. |
| 7 | The following security regulation shall be followed strictly while movement of labourers/ workers/ contractor\"s personnel including transportation of the materials etc.i) The workers, Engineers and supervisors will be provided vigil passes (for entry into Premises) on submission of application forms in prescribed formats supported by documentary proof like ration card, driving licence, PAN card, election cards, Adhar card etc.ii) The contractor shall obtained special permission for working on extended hours of working days including Saturday, Sunday and holidays etc.,iii) Workers shall be escorted from the main gate upto the site by designated supervisors of the contractor and they are not allowed roaming here and there inside the premises. iv) Transport vehicles of the contractor are allowed to enter the premises for transportation of construction materials. Drivers must have valid driving license of Heavy Vehicle. Vehicles must have valiid RC book, Valid insurance & PUC. |
| 8 | v) The following security regulation shall also be followed strictly while movement of labourers/ workers/ contractor\"s personnel etc.(a) The contractor shallissue I-Cards to his workers deployed on regular basis.(b) The supervisor of the contractor having photo pass can bring daily wage workers/ casual workers inside campus for work. He should prepare list of such workers in duplicate. The original copy shall be handed over to the representative of the Engineer in Charge at the gate and endorsement obtained on duplicate on daily basis.(c) The contractor personnel including daily wage workers shall be in uniform with proper identification in order toease in identification of such persons at unauthorised places. (d) The daily wage workers/ casual workers employed by the contractor must wear florescence visa wear without fail during their presence inside Campus. |
| 9 | The contractor shall follow strictly the DAE safety rules . Also cost towords safety should be consider in the quoted rates nothing extra will be paid. |
| 10 | The drawings issued for tender purpose are preliminary and indicative only. The working drawing shall be issued in phased manner at the time of execution. Nothing extra shall be entertained towards revision in drawings. Drawing shall not be taken outside the campus without Gate Pass issued by E.I.C. |
| 11 | The contractor shall arrange water and electricity for construction purpose of his own. No labour shall be permitted to stay inside the campus. |
| 12 | Suitable area near site of workshall be allocated to the contractor for storing construction materials, site office etc. Optimum care shall be taken by the contractor to avoid disturbing the traffic and road around the building etc. |
| 13 | The schedule of quantities include contingent works for other services. Accordingly the contractor shall carry out all related works such as making cut outs, nitches, pipe sleeves, foundation pockets for foundation embadded plate, bolts etc.in concrete / masonry works as and when required by Engineer in charge without any extra cost to the Department. |
| 14 | The sizes of natural stones/ tiles mentioned for flooring dado, skirting etc. are approximate and subject to the availability in market during execution. If the required size is not available the next higher sizeof tiles/ stones shall be used without any extra cost to the Department. The contractor may quote accordingly. |
| 15 | The quoted rates shall be inclusive of all GST, Taxes, Cess, Levy etc. |
| 16 | The campus of IPR is fully occupied and various offices are running in full swing. The contractor shall carry out the construction activities including dismantling works etc. with minimum possible disturbance during office hours. |
| 17 | Refer Prebid clarifications for any update. |
| 18 | Tenderers are advised to visit the site of work, acquaint themselves about the levels of sub soil water, drainage facility for dewatering, accessibility to site etc. and quote the rates accordingly. |
| 19 | All PH materials, water supply, sewer, sanitary wares & CP brass fittings & fixtures, etc., shall be of first quality with ISI mark (unless otherwise specified) and shall be of the make as per the latest approved list of manufacturers of DCSEM as well as shall be of make as per the latest approved list of materials of local Statutory body if required. They shall be got approved by the Engineer- in- charge before incorporating in the work. |
| 20 | All sanitaryware shall be provided from same brand. |
| 21 | All CP fittings / Fixturesshall be provided from same brand. |
| 22 | All the items of work which are to be carried out below the ground level involving earthwork excavation, the contractor shall bear the cost of Shoring / dewatering during the progress and till the completion of work. |
| 23 | The rate for the items such as sanitary wares, CP brass fittings, GI / CI / PE / PPR / CPVC / uPVC / SWR pipes which are to be fixed on the walls / dado, floors etc. includes the cost of fixing materials and matching colour cement required for reinstating the surface to the entire satisfaction of the EIC. |
| 24 | All the items include testing after completion of the Work. |
| 25 | In case of any item, in spite of its non - availability in the tender is required to be operated under a particular part of schedule of quantities, the same shall be paid under the similar / relevant item of any other part. |
| 26 | Concealed / underground GI pipe line is to be wrapped with Pypekote corrosion protection tape. |
| 27 | The excavated / transported materials shall be stacked at convenient places before spreading, filling & compacting at required locations. |
| 28 | Support pedestals at terrace will be paid under relevant civil item. |
| 29 | All thermoplastic piping at terrace after completion, testing and commisssioning of work shall be painted with water based distemper to avoid direct exposure to sunlight. No extra charges will be paid for the same. |
| 30 | The quoted rates shall be inclusive offollowing scope of Work: Preparation of the drawing and submission to the CEA / other statutory bodies , including arranging inspection and also necessary approval / safety certificate from authorities etc. for the installation and commissioning of equipments/system included in this contract. |
| 31 | The liasoining work for approval from the statutory authirity/CEA/ lift license etc shall be done by the agency (inclduing insurance requirement for Lift license if needed). The statutory fees payable to the Electrical Inspectorate/ lift license will be paid by the department against demand notice. |
| 32 | Any kind of liasoining and incidental charges for NOC requirements/ statutory approval/lift license etc. required shall be paid by the EPC agency |
| 33 | The department will render necessary assistance to the successful tenderer in the form of furnishing letter and documents for obtaining above approval from statutory authorities.But the responsibility for obtaining above approvals including arrangements for inspection etc. is with the tenderer. |
