Extension of cubicle shall require 450mm to handle and the gap between the coupled RMU’s must be within 10mm. |

| 12 | Notes:[a]An operator situated in front, lateral and rear [A-FLR 21 kA – 1 Sec, Downwards Exhaust, for Tank as well as Cable Compartment] of the RMU Switch board during an internal fault shall not be exposed to the effects of Arcing. Internal ARC Type Test Report for IAC AFLR 21 kA for 1 Sec for both Tank & Cable Box shall be submitted.[b]All operations shall be from front of the RMU, including access to cable bushings. Bushings along the sides or the rear of the RMU are not acceptable.[c]Construction of Plinth / Foundation for 11KV RMU: The rate quoted is deemed to be including the cost of Plinth / Foundation and shall not be paid as extra on this account. The foundation shall consists of Two Parallel Brick Walls built using bricks straight or curved on plan to any radius built in Cement Mortar 1:6 of length 2.10m, suitable thickness and height as per the manufacturer’s instructions over PCC Concrete Bed of 150mm thick in PCC 1:4:8, Type D-2, using 40mm graded stone aggregate over 150mm thick Hardcore of gauge not exceeding 63mm of broken stones or boulders, deposited, spread and levelled in layers not exceeding15 cm thick watered and rolled, over 150mm thick Sand Bed, rendering to brick surfaces, 15 mm thick in Cement Mortar 1:4, and finishing the top surface even and smooth without using extra cement, applying Three coats of white washing including earthwork excavation of pit size 2.10 X 1.20 X 0.60 Metres complete all as per manufacturer’s recommendations, drawings, as specified and as directed.[d]The rate quoted is also deemed to be including the cost of disconnection of HT Cables up to 3 Core, 240 Sq.mm from existing 2 Pole / 4 Pole Structures, removing of cable loop and reconnection to RMU complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.[e]End termination joints shall be measured and paid separately.[f]There should be electrical interlock established between both incomers ensuring one incomer only switched on at any time. In addition pad locking facility to be provided in both incomers. Rate includes pad lock (2 lock & 1 key)[g]The make of RMU/ VCB/ vacuum interrupter/ Relays/ FRTU offered shall be of same make. Different makes shall not be accepted. |
