The capacitor element used in unit shall be metallized polypropylene film having low loss dielectric impregnated with such impregnant, which shall have high dielectric constant , low viscosity and high chemical stability. The operating temp of capacitor shall be 65 degree centigrade. The capacitor shall have maximum operating loss of 0.45 W/ KVAR. The capacitors shal have miximum 250 % overload current carrying capacity or rated current. The maximum inrush current carrying capacity of capacitor bank shall be 350 times of capacitors bank rated current. The maximum switching life of capacitor banks shall be 1500 switching/ years complete with internal wiring of panel with coding system all as specified and directed by Engr-in- charge.Note- Capacitor Bank designed by OEM for 500 KVA distribution transformer. |
