Name of Work: Rehabilitation and Improvements of Lower Bhavani (Bhavanisagar) Dam in Sathyamangalam taluk of Erode District under DRIP Phase - II (Elecetrical and Basic facilities)

1	Cleaning and scraping the leached lime deposited in the left side surface of concrete portion, Collection point of \"V\" Notches (entire water way) of Infiltration gallery, using hand buffing machine/manual labours.Complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers.
2	Cleaning the existing leached lime deposited in the Porous Drainage hole in the infiltration gallery by using High pressure water jet technology with the help of special execution arrangement like spinning or rotatory head nozzles with the help of stiff holding water membrane to the entire depth, which operating upto 1000 pressures bars. If any cases of multilayer of deposition that will be removed by layer by layer to took off. Complete complying with all necessary arrangements like scaffolding / work platforms, labour charges and all tools and tackles with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers.
3	Reaming of foundation drainage holes: Reaming of existing vertical / inclined drainage holes of 75mm diameter inside the gallery by suitable reaming method from drainage gallery floor to drainage hole bottom inclusive of all machineries, equipments, consumables, other materials required for the work and also labour charges for operation, cleaning the drainage holes etc. transportation charges for machinery and shifting the same to different location etc. Complete as directed by Engineer-in-Charge
4	Inclined drilling inside the gallery for curtain hole with diamond drill bit AX size using single tube core barrel in the reinforced cement concrete and Random Rubble masonry to the required depth including cost of transportation charges of all materials, pumps, water line fuel and other consumable materials etc., to site and collection of core from the bore holes, arranging them in serial order in the gunny bags and numbering the same, as directed by the departmental officers and complying with technical specification.
5	Washing and cleaning the AX grout holes by means of sending water at different pressure until the return water turns out to be of the same character as the original water inserted without any forge in material complying with technical specification and as directed by the departmental officers.
6	Conducting water permeability test in holes in rock, masonry / concrete portion in the drilled AX holes at different elevation in stage using packer method at required pressure in each elevation including cost of all assembly hire charges and other charge of labour and machinery complying with technical specification and as directed by the departmental officers
7	Grouting AX Size, grout 3600 holes up to bottom level at different stages or as directed by the Engineer in charge of the work for grouting in Random Rubble masonry and cement concrete portion in the drilled holes of different elevation in stages using packer method of required pressure in each elevation using fine cement of blains value of about 3500 mixed with 5% bentonite, including cost of cement, grouting assembly and other charges of labour and machinery as directed by the engineer in-charge of work and complying with technical specification. (during the grout hole being grouted have in the vicinity of the grout hole being grouted have to be continuously jet washed by the agency during the grout work).
8	Manufacturing, Supplying and Fixing of Stainless Steel Hand rails for staircase near wet riser using 50mm dia 304L Grade Stainless Steel pipe of 1.60mm thick will be provided with tubular supports made of 304L Grade Stainless Steel pipe of 25mm dia of 1.60mm thick welded to the railing. The supports will be grouted into the wall and provided with 93.00mm thick Stainless Steel circular base plate of 304 Grade. The rate shall be included for grouting into concrete with necessary supporting arrangements, the hand rail in floor polishing buffing, bonding, cutting, grinding, conveyance, welding charges, electrical charges, etc.Complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers.
9	Working platform or scaffolding arrangement: Erecting a working platform for the entire downstream ogee portion using MS pipes of cup lock system kind and safety arrangements to carry out the below work procedure of surface preparation, cavity filling and flush pointing using high abrasion resistant material as described below and the cost includes mobilization and erecting of the scaffolding and after completion removing and demobilization of the materials and as directed by the departmental officers.
10	Jet Washing of Dam Body: Pressure washing of the downstream face of the dam & its appurtenance: Scraping and cleaning the downstream face of the dam and its appurtenance by cleaning and removing dirt, dust, bird droppings, grease oil, algae, fungus, monkey beats, vegetable growths etc. including washing the surface with the help of high pressure air-water jet machine, complete in all respect, including taking all precautions to safeguard structure, all as per direction of Engineer-in-charge by using winch and cradle (the rate is inclusive of all materials & labours involved)
11	Surface Preparation: Cleaning and removing the detoriated / eroded concrete surface by high pressure water jet upto 300 bar to remove loose particles from surface and water jet washing should take place in such a way to make the surface rough to aid a very good bonding with the repair mortar application and cost includes of necessary arrangements like scaffolding/work platforms, electricity and all tools and tackles etc. Complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers.
12	High abrasion resistant coating: After cleaning with high-pressure water jet apply a high abrasion resistant coat for 15 MM thickness by spray (wet or dry GUNMIX technology) and also by hand using ready to use pre packed single component polymer modified, fibre reinforced, high abrasion resistant polymeric special mortar which has very high sulphate and chloride resistance and resistance from pH 14 to pH 3.3, Open to water vapour diffusion impermeable to water and resistant to permanent water exposure and class R4 according to EN 1504 part3 also the material should achieve Compressive strength of 43.5 and 57.3 N/mm2 at 7 days and 28 days respectively, Dynamic E modulus 27500N/mm2, Water penetration <1MM at five bar pressure gauge as per EN12390-8, abrasion resistance grade A6 as per EN13813. Cost Includes tools tackles working platforms labour charges etc and finishing as directed by departmental officers.
13	Surface Hardener Coating: Supply and applying a two component water based epoxy resin on top of the hardened coating which improves the mechanical and chemical resistance of the pointing material which has the density of 1.05 kg/dm3 and viscosity of 250 mPa/sec also application time of 45 to 60 minutes which has full resistance after 7 days at a coverage of 250 grams/SQM etc. by roller or brush or by spray and as directed by the departmental officers.
14	Surface Preparation: Raking out the horizontal and vertical joints of Random Rubble masonry to a minimum depth of 25mm/50mm in the upstream face of Dam to remove all the loose pointing using hand grinding machine with diamond wheel (manual / mechanical means), cleaning the raked joints with wire brush followed by compressed air and water jets with variable pressure of 30 - 250 bars, drying the raked joints. The rate shall include the cost of materials, hire charges of necessary equipment, cost for disposal of debris within a distance of 500m and stacking outside submerging periphery of the reservoir, scaffolding etc. Complete complying with standard specification and as per the direction of the departmental officers.
15	Flush pointing in cement mortor 1:2 (one cemet and two P.sand) with old or new masonry joints etc., Complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers.
16	Supplying and fixing in position of Bitumen 20MM thick pad for expansion joints in Plain cement concrete and Reinforced cement concrete etc., Complete complying with standard specification and as per the direction of the departmental officers.
17	Painting two coats of plastered wall surface with ready mixed plastic emulsion paint of first class quality and of approved colour over a priming coat including thorough scrapping, clean removal of dirt, and including necessary plaster of paris putty, wherever required etc., Complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers.
18	Loose boulders Earth work excavating of various sizes from 150mm to 625mm and deposited Soil, clearing away from site with initial lead of 10m and lift of 2.0m and as directed by the engineer in charge of work etc., Complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers. Conveying and disposal of the Earth work soils 500m from site.
19	Dismantling, clearing away and carefully stacking materials useful for reuse for any thickness of dry stones apron or revetment, stacking within 40m lead. Complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmentalofficers.
20	Supplying and Filling (below U/S revetment) in Riprap area with gravel in layers not more than 15cm thick, with lead 2 to 3Km including loading & unloading stacking them for premeasurement of consolidating, labour charges etc. Complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers.
21	Removing the old Jeddy stone dry packingfor revetment and repacking using old jeddy stones and New jeddy stones including cost and conveyance ofall materials and all labour charges etc. Complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers.
22	Removing the old Jeddy stone revetment and repacking using OLD STONES.
23	New Jeddy Stone for revetment using NEW JEDDY STONES.
24	Manufacturing, supplying and fixing of stainless steel Hand rails for staircase using 50mm dia 304L Grade stainless steel pipe of 1.60mm thick using at required locations to a height of 900mm from finished floor level welded to 38mm dia stainless steel pipe post of 1.00mm thick as vertical at 900mm centre with 2 No\"s of 25mm dia intermediate horizontal stainless steel pipe of 1.60mm thick in between.The vertical pipe has to be welded to the 100x100x6mm MS base plate encased in the base concrete.The rate is inclusive of the charges for cutting, bending, welding, grinding, polishing, conveyance, electrical charges, etc., Complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers.
25	Cleaning the plastered surface of cable trench in both side top of masonry dam portion and destroying etc., effectively. Complete complying with standard specifications and as directed by the departmental officers.
26	Dismantling, clearing away and carefully stacking materials useful for reuse for any thickness of removal of Cut Stone Slabs / RCC Cover Slabs. Complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers.
27	Earth work excavation for foundation in all soils and sub soils including hard stiff clay, stiff black cotton, hard red earth, shales, murrams earth mixed with small size boulders and hard gravelly soil inclusive of shoring strutting and bailing out water wherever necessary refilling the sides of foundation with excavated earth in layers of 15cm thick depositing the surplus earth in place shown by the departmentalofficers. With initial lead of 10m and lift of 2m and clearing and leveling the site etc. Complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers. (For Narrow Foundation)
28	Earth work excavation for foundation in hard stiff clay, stiff black cotton, hard red earth, shales, murrams earth mixed with small size boulders and hard gravelly soil inclusive of shoring strutting and bailing out water wherever necessary refilling the sides of foundation with excavated earth in layers of 15cm thick depositing the surplus earth in place shown by the departmental officers. With initial lead of 10m and lift of 2m and clearing and leveling the site etc. Complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers. (For open Foundation)
29	Cement Concrete 1:4:8 (One Cement, Four M sand and Eight hard broken stone jelly) using 40mm gauge hard broken granite stone jelly for foundation including dewatering wherever necessary and laid in layers of not more than 15cm thick well rammed, consolidated and curing etc. Complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers.
30	Supplying and erecting steel centering including necessary supports for plane surfaces for Reinforced Cement Concrete works such as column footings, column pedestals, plinth beams, grade beams, staircase steps, etc. which require only nominal strutting using mild steel sheets of size 90cm x 60cm and 10 BG stiffened with welded mild steel angles of size 25mm x 25mm x 3 mm for boarding, laid over silver oakjoists of size 10cm x 6.5cm spaced at about 75cm centre to centre or at suitable intervals etc. Complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers. (Payment for centering shall be given after the concrete is laid)
31	Supplying and erecting steel centering including necessary supports and struttingupto 3.29m height for plane surfaces such as RCC floor slab, beams, lintels, bed block, landing slab, waist slab, portico slabs and beams, etc, in all floors. with all cross bracings using mild steel sheets of size 90cm x 60cm and 10BG stiffened with welded mild steel angles of size 25mm x 25mm x 3mm for boarding laid over silver oak joists of size 10cm x 6.5cm spaced at about 90cm centre to centre and supported by casurina props of 10cm to 13cm dia spaced at not more than 75cm centre to centre etc,. 34	Supplying, fabricating and placing in position Mild Steel / Ribbed Tor Steel grills for all RCC works as per design given including cost of steel and GI binding wire in all floors etc. Complete complying with standard specification.(Contractor has to make his own arrangements for the supply of steel and binding wire) and as directed by the departmental officers.
35	Providing and laying in position, standardised concrete Mix M-20 Grade in accordance with IS 456 using 20mm and down graded hard broken granite stone jelly for all RCC items of works with minimum cement content of 325 kg/m3 and maximum water cement ratio of 0.55, including admixture (plasticiser / super plasticiser) in recommended proportions as per IS: 9103 to accelerate, retard setting of concrete, improve workability without impairing strength and durability with about (5 Cum) 7730 kg of 20mm machine crushed stone jelly and with about (3.3 Cum) 5156 kg of 10-12mm machine crushed stone jelly and with about (4.79 cu.m) 7670 kg. of sand, but excluding cost of reinforcement grill and fabricating charges, centering and shuttering and also including laying, vibrating with mechanical vibrators., finishing, curing, etc. and providing fixtures like fan clamps in the RCC floor/ roof slabs wherever necessary without claiming etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers. The coarse and fine aggregates to be used should comply with the requirements of IS standards. (No separate payment will be made by the Department for the excess usage of materials).

74	Flooring with following Non Slippery Designed ceramic tiles of size 305 x 305 x 6 mm of EURO/ Kajaria or equivalent make as mentioned in the approved list of tiles laid over 20 mm thick cement mortar 1:3 (One Cement and Three M.Sand) base mortar over the existing slab / floor including cutting the tiles to the required size with special cutter wherever necessary, laying in position and pointing with white cement mixed with colouring pigment at the rate of 0.3 Kg. / sq.m. etc., complete complying with standard specification.(The make and brand of the tiles should be got approved by Executive Engineer before use on works)
75	Dadooing walls with following best approved quality, colour designed glazed tiles of following sizes set in Cement Mortar 1:2 (One Cement and Two M-sand) 10mm thick and pointing the joints with white cement mixed with colouring pigments at the rate of 0.40 Kg/Sqm neatly in all floors, curing, etc. Complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers.
76	Manufacturing supplying and fixing of steel door with the following specification MS angels of size 40x40x6mm are used for the outer frames and MS angles of size 35 x 35 x 5mm for the shutter frames stiffeners with 32 x 6mm MS flat is provided at required intervals in the shutter frame. 18-gauge CR sheet laid as panel in the shutter and welded intact.
