| 2 | Handling and maintenance of 30 min. SCBA sets in General shift. This maintenance activity includes- shifting of BA set to safety work shop, cleaning repair and maintenance of SCBA sets etc. |
| 3 | Handling and maintenance of Luxafer make non metallic cylinders of 9.0 liter WC and 2.0 liter WC and metallic medical oxygen cylinder. This includes replacement of cylinder O ring and associated valve maintenance etc. |
| 4 | Survey and maintenance of H2S canister as per surveillance schedule at various locations such as CCR, Multi purpose hall, guard house, CISF(STF), delay tank area, OHC, PC & AL, outer barrier etc. in HWPK site |
| 5 | Survey and maintenance of wind socksinstalled at various locations such as at top of Watch tower no-2, process tank, XU platform no-4, inter connecting platform, near fire station, delay tank and scrubber in H2S gen.plant in HWPK site. |
| 6 | Survey and maintenance of eye wash fountain cum safety bath shower installed at various locations such as outside CCR, near battery room, near neutralisation pit, near pre treatment plant, near Na2S storage building, H2S generation unit, H2SO4 day tank area, H2SO4 acid unloading area, Crystalisation plant, RAHIE, Chemical laboratory etc. in HWPK site. |
| 7 | Assisting inpreparation of Led Acetate paper , maintenance of various portable monitors such as H2S, O2, H2, Cl2, explosive meter, SO2 monitor, sound monitorused in HWPK site. |
| 8 | Assisting in conducting various safety sectional and safety promotional programs such as national safety week, national environment day, PSC, SSC , POSARC and planned mock drills plant emergency, site emergency and office work etc. |
| 9 | Inventory reduction by segregating metallic and non metallic followed by its disposal to stores as per their requirement. This also include washing of dirty harnesses of cylinder as and when required. |
| 10 | Various safety related jobs to be carried out in RTC shifts at CCR Breathing air room during 8 hours working. This includes checking of all BA sets\" mask condition, pressure and cleanliness of sets, assisting in inspection and cleaning of airline masks in CCR, medical oxygen resuscitator, shifting of BA sets from CCR to filling station and bringing back after refilled, collection of all BA sets from hazardous area XU field and H2S gen. plant field and collection of safety sample from common drainline of plant and given to PC & AL for analysis etc |
