Blasting <(>&<)> Painting of Structure: - • Shifting of Structure from Fabrication yard, stores to sand blasting area. • New Generation F-15 Hydra <(>&<)> Trailer are in Contractor scope of throughout the Project tenure. • All materials required for Sand Blasting <(>&<)> painting are in contractor’s scope. • Surface Preparation – Remove all rust and scale by shot blasting to a minimum standard of Sa 2 ½ Swedish standard SIS 05 5900 with a surface profile not exceeding 50 microns. • Primer Coat – One coat of epoxy zinc rich primer. Average DFT value35-40 microns. First primer coat should apply within 4-6 hours after shot blasting. • Intermediate coat – One coat of epoxy coating re-inforced with MIO. Average DFT value 80-100 microns. • Finish Coat – Two coats of epoxy finish paint compatible to the primer and intermediate coat. Average DFT value 30-40 microns. • The all three type of paint should be from the same vendor. Total thickness of paint should be minimum 220 microns. • Reconciliation - Reconciliation of free issue materials to be done during invoicing. • All painting materials as per AM/NS Approved make list are in contrcator’s scope of work.
