Tender For Smart Periodical Of Otm And Md Accn Alongwith Connected Repair Works Under Age B/R-Ii In Ge (Central) Khadki.- 1 NOTE FOR ALL PAINITNGAND WATER PROOFING ITEMS :-The following precautionary measures shall be ensured by the contractor before and during execution of the work :- (i) All the painting works and water proofing works shall be got executed through originalmanufacturing company or their authorised applicators as approved by GE and contractor should submit MOU withthe manufacturing company or their authorised applicator before execution of work and entire work shall be executed with the approved firm.(ii)Certificate of applicator should be furnished by manufacturer.(iii) Contractor shall deposit entire quantity of materials (proprietory materials) in sealed containers required for painting works covered under subject contract in the custody of Engineer-In-Charge/ Office in charge of unit.(iv) The materials as required shall be issued to contractor by JE/ Engineer-In-Charge on daily basis and the empty containers/ bags shall be deposited in the store of Engineer -In-Charge by the contractor, for verification as per standard consumption/ coverage prescribed by the manufacturers. (Contd...2) 2 (Note Contd...)(v) After completion of painting work contractor shall remove and clean all the droplets/stain of paint left on the floor, glasses and joinery. (vi) Scaffolding, props as required and approach system from to enable execution of all items of work as may be required of wooden or steel scaffolding complete with necessary support /propping system etc, complete for safe working.The ladder at all the corners of the scaffolding is required for access to any level to carryout the repair works. More detailed specification to be reffered as per standard specification. (vii) Rate of scaffolding (up to height of double /triple story), ladder and preparing reqd for execution of painting/white washing) should be included in quoted rate and no extra payment given to contractor.(viii) All the labour should wear proper dress code including name of labour and manufacturing company.(Rate of dress code should includedin the quoted rate. 3 Material and labour for complete removal of existing treatment ofwall/ceilling(internal) surface by scrapping with mechanical hand held sander/long handle sander (having mechanicalvacuum suction mechanism) ofRPM not less than 1500, sanding pad of grit 80 and dia 7/9 to make surface free from dust , loose paint, etcby skilled labour complete all as specified and as directed. 4 Material and labour for complete removal of existing treatment ofwall/ceillingsurface (external)by scrapping with high pressure washer having jet and washer of 2.2KW power motor, to generate pressure of 110 bars water flow rate 2Ltr/minto remove dirt, dust, mud, grim, stain, fungus etccomplete all as specified and as directed. 5 Material and labour for applying two coats of oil bound emulsion distemper (OBD)of approved tint over and including 3 mm thick neatly finished HS waterproof wall care puttyto get smooth finished surfaces on walls byauto roller(having dimension - 190mm x 80mm x 40mm, voltage supply :- 220 to 240 Volt, power- 45 watt, maximum pumping height - 4mtr, flow- 400ml/min) complete all as specified and as directed. NOTE :-Mixing and applicationby Heavy Coat 950 E. 6 Material and labour for applying two coat of cement based paint of approved tint including weather coat exterior primer by air less paint sprayer ( pressure not less than 20.7Mpa/3000psi, 1.1L/min flow rate and 7.6m high pressure hose multicolour) complete all as specified and as directed. 7 Material and labour applying one coat of cement based paint of approved tint including weather coat exterior primer by air less paint sprayer ( pressure not less than 20.7Mpa/3000psi, 1.1L/min flow rate and 7.6m high pressure hose multicolour) complete all as specified and as directed. 8 Material and labour applying two coat of white wash on interior/exteriorwall/ceilling by roller complete all as specified and as directed. 9 Material and labour complete removal of existing treatment on wall surfaces of any description including brooming down with steel wire brushing, scrapping down smoke soots , moulds, moss and efflorescence, salts, trading oil and greasy spots etc and applying two coats ofAnti fungal weather proof grade exterior acrylic emulsion paint of approved tint(Apex Ultima Protek Asian paints, Nerolac excel top guard, Berger weather coat long life 10 or equivalant brand as specified in CA) over one base coat/ one coats of primer by airless paint sprayer (pressure not less than 20.7 Mpa/3000 psi, 1.1 Litre/min flow rate and 7.6m High pressure hose multicolour) by skilled labour including filling the cracks etc with crack filling material all as per manufacturers instructions complete all as specified and as directed. 10 Material and labour for damp stop advanced coat (Berger / Birla /Asian paints or equivalent) on wall surface by usingroller after smootheningthe surfaces using sand paper etc. complete all as specified and as directed.NOTE :-(i)Cracks of wall to be filled with its crack fill paste of makeas specified above.(ii) Damp proof should be done by skilled labour and as per manufacturers instructions. 11 Material and labour preparation of old painted wooden surfaces of any descriptionnot otherwise described over 10cm width or girth and applying two coat of synthetic enamel paint of approved tint including cracks on wooden surfaces to be filled with wood filler material complete all as specified and as directed. 12 Material and labour preparation of old painted steel surfaces of any description not otherwise described over 10 cm width or girth and applying two coat of synthetic enamel paint of approved tint complete all as specified and as directed. 13 Material and labour for repairing the leaking deteriorated and torn out chajjas and parapet walls by removing all the lose materials from the top of the chajja by means of light hammering and chiselling, removing loose concrete cover only and clean all loose particles by high pressure jet water so that all surfaces should be sound, clean and free of contamination followed by application as under :-(i) Two coats of polymerised cementitious coat like Pidilites Pidifin 2k or equivalent. (ii)When second coat is wet apply a 10mm dash coat of cement plaster with the waterproofing compound, completing the repair work. (iii) Final finishing and providing proper slope of 15 mm thick rendering to prepared surface in cement mortar (1:4) finishing the surfaces even and smooth using extra cement including supply and mixing of water proofing compound as per manufacturers instruction complete all as specified and as directed.MAKE :-Pidilite/Dr.Fixit or equivalent as approved by GE. 14 Taking down cement plaster on wall or concrete surface etc including racking out joints hacking for key scrubing down with water etc complete all as specified and as directed. 15 Material and labour 15mm thick single component polymer modified cement mortar not less than 34kg/sqm with comp strength min 38mpa at 28 days and tensile strength 2.5mpa as per maufacturers instruction all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.MAKE :-ACC Accoplast ready mix plaster, Birla Aerocon Ready Mix Plaster or equivalent
