The Tenderer has the option to submit his proposal based on his own design which he considers suitable and capable of meeting the required operating and duty conditions. 3.0 SCOPE OF WORK 3.1 Design, Engineering, manufacture, assembly, testing, packing, delivery to site and supply of the 1.1kV power cables. 3.2 The scope of work shall be as per the list of items with quantities mentioned in the Bill of Quantities (BOQ) in the attached Annexure-1. 3.3 Preparation and submission of drawings and documents pertaining to data sheet, cross sectional details, drum schedule, QAP etc. as applicable of individual cables as specified, for clearances from AMNSI prior to manufacturing. Nos. of hard copies of the drawings / documents to be submitted shall be mutually decided with AMNSI during execution stage / kick off meeting etc. 3.4 Make of all items under Tenderer’s scope of supply shall be as per AMNSI’s List of preferred make. 4.0 DESIGN AMBIENT CONDITION 4.1 The derating of all cables shall be done for an ambient temperature of 50°C. Maximum relative humidity is 95% which shall also be taken into consideration for design of cables. However, the maximum temperature and maximum relative humidity may not occur simultaneously. 4.2 In the design of the cables, due consideration shall be given to the dust laden atmosphere, normally experienced in steel plants. 4.3 Standards 4.3.1 All items / component shall be designed, manufactured and tested in accordance with the latest standards published by the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) and International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC). In case of difference in this technical specification with these standards, stringent specification out of these shall be taken into consideration without any cost implication. The Tenderer shall point out any discrepancy/ contradiction or requirement other than those specified in his quotation before finalisation of tender and any additional claim due to omissions will not be entertained during execution of the contract. 4.3.2 All cables shall comply with the latest Regulations and the stipulation of Inspectorate of Factories, and other applicable statutory bodies of the Government of India and the Government of Gujarat, wherever applicable. All cost on this account shall be borne by the successful tenderer.
