19	Specialized Itemof OT
20	MODULAR OT WALLS & CEILING 60 MM PUFFPANELS.
21	Item No 01 : Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of modular OT wall & corner panels with insulated prefabricated puff panels. The OT wall shall be constructed using GI Puff Panels having 0.8mm thick GI sheets on both sides. These panels should have been produced in a double band laminator, in which two continuously moving belts carrying 60-80 GSM galvanized steel sheets of 0.80mm thickness are firmly bonded together by sprayed-in insulating foam, which hardens during the process. The core consists of rigid polyurethane foam, which has been injected under high pressure, with a minimum density of 40kg/m3. The thickness of puff shall be minimum 60mm. The sheet panel shall be of indigenous reputed make and be provided with manufactures test certificate. The puff panel shall be fixed to the floor with bottom track of 1.5mm thick steel U channel section having minimum size of 50mm X 50mm. The bottom shall be fixed in the floor of the OT with 10mm thick and min 60mm long SS fasteners which shall be fully threaded and power drilled. The panels of walls and ceiling shall be tied together by suitable SS coving. The individual wall panels shall be welded together.
22	[i] The inner surface walls should be fixed to the bricks wall with essential supports plastered and smoothened applied with antiseptic. There should be minimum possible cavity / gap in between the solid and steel walls. The total distance between the inside and outside surface of the operating room should be variable to suit the approved layout, but should be sufficient for the flush mounting of equipments.
23	[ii] The individual steel wall panels should be spot welded together and stitch gap should not be more then 4 mm uniform at equal intervals to render equal support to the panels. Spot welding should be properly grinded to make the surface level. No joints should be more then 4 mm and to be filled with metal filler and sanded flush on site ready to receive the plastic finish hygiene liquid plastic.
24	[iii] Wall panel’s joints should be invisible after the final STERILE wall coating is applied. The cavity between the inner and outer walls should be left with minimum obstruction for the possible addition of equipment at a later date and to enable services, pipes, conduits etc. to be run within the cavity. All wall mounted equipment should be flush mounted and sealed into theatre.
25	[iv] The wall panels design and construction should allow for the installation and support of all equipment and the provision of opening required for the installation, without affecting rigidity and strength of the steel structure shell.
26	[v] Access boxes should be fitted to the rear of wall mounted equipment to enable maintenance to be carried out from inside/outside the operating room.
27	[vi] All the sharp edges and corners should be in curve to avoid bacteria contamination no 90 degree corners either wall to wall or wall to ceiling and also wall to floor on finishes.
28	STERILE WALL COATING SYSTEMS : ANTI BACTERIAL PAINT :-
29	Item No 02 : Providing and establishing anti-bacterial & anti fungicidal sterile coating of liquid plastic paint on GI Puff/SS panel of modular OT. The paint should be seamless, easy to clean, should have vapor permeability which allows substrate moisture to escape and protects against growth of bacteria, mound and yeasts, moisture resistance, freez/ thaw resistance. Anti-bacterial paints anti-microbial quality should remain active throughout the life of the product. Vapors permeable structure should allow damp substrates to dry out without causing blistering. It should tolerate cleaning with hospital chemical agents. Filling of all joints and cavities should be with metallic epoxy filler and sand casted flush to provide a joint-less finish. This should include all fittings, accessories, hardware, support structures, etc. required for installation. Anti-bacterial and anti-fungus sterile coating shall be applied on the finished walls & ceiling with at least 2-3 coats to achieve a thickness of minimum 200 micron. Before application of sterile wall coating an appropriate primer shall be applied.
30	The primer shall be supplied along with the paint and should be of the same make as that of paint and shall be applied prior to coating of anti-bacterial & anti-fungus sterile paint on walls & ceiling 2-3 coats shall be applied to achieve a thickness of 200 microns. Sterile coating and primer shall be applied on the surface by air-less spray gun. Sterile coating shall withstand against application of commonly used cleaners in the operation rooms and shall withstand against regular steam cleaning. Product should have warranty of at least 6 years.
31	OPERATION THEATRE FLOORING ANTISTATIC CONDUCTIVE FLOORING :
32	Item No 03 : The flooring should be smooth, non-slippery, impervious material conductive enough to dissipate the static electricity but not conductive enough to endanger the shock to the personnel. The flooring should either be inset mosaic with least possible joints and copper strips to carry away any static electricity produced or of joint less conductive tiles. Conductive copper mesh should be done.
33	[i] A floor screed should be provided, flat to within a tolerance of +/-3mm over any 3 meter area. Onto this sub-floor, a self-leveling compound should be laid prior to lying of the floor finish, if the floor is uneven.
34	[ii] Copper grounding strips (0.05 mm thick, 30-50 mm width) should be laid flat on the floor in the conductive adhesive and connect to copper wire of grounding. The floor finish in the operating room should be 2 mm Conductive PVC tiles, laid on a semi-conductive adhesive base.
35	[iii] The floor finish should terminate at the room perimeter passing over a concealed Aluminum cove former and continuing up to the wall for 100mm. All joints should be welded with electrodes of the same compatible material to provide a continuous sealed surface. The floor should have an electrical resistance of 2.5 * 10 to 106 Ohms, as per DIN 51953 ATM F-150 or NFPA 99 or any other equivalent standard, B1 class of fire resistance and should meet UL standard 779.
36	[iv] The PVC Floor Material used should be CE marked.
37	Item No 04O.T. DOORS AND FRAMES (HERMETICALLY SEALED DOORS)

40	[i] To maintain sterility and the correct air pressure in the room, all doors into and out should be sliding, hermetically sealing type. The Main door size should be 1500 x 2100 mm.&doctor entery dorr size should be 1200 x 2100 mm The doors should meet following specifications:
41	(a) Meets international quality & safety requirements.
42	(b) Doors should be wired to the current IEE regulation standard.
43	[ii] The doorframe should be made of high quality anodized aluminum and the door panel should be made of compact laminate that can withstand high abrasion. To ensure efficient sealing of the doors frames should be provided. They should consist of reinforced plasterboard panels faced with the same laminate as the doors.
44	[iii] The door should seal on all four edges in the closed position & should be surface installed type
45	[iv] The track of the door should be constructed with high quality door lock with aluminum extrusion, fixed firmly to the walls.
46	[v] Nylon runner guides should be fixed to the door in such a way they do not obstruct trolley movement through the door.
47	[vi] The door frames should be edged with an aluminum extrusion & with concealed fixings that are adjustable during installation to ensure that 100% hermetic seal is achieved.
48	[vii] Vision panels, 300mm x 300mm should be provided in the doors.
49	[viii] The door controller should be sensing overload condition and in overload case the door should automatically stop & reverse the direction of travel.
50	[ix] The controller should be capable of sensing either by elbow switches/foot switches, radar switch (touch less sensor). All doors should be able to be operated easily manually in the event of failure of the power supply or the automation unit.
51	Item No 05 : SITC Of Pressure Relief Dampers inside OT All operation rooms should be supplied with multi bladed damper specifically design edto control roomairpressures and protection the Doors should be provided within the modular panel. Each stabilizer comprises of amatchings lipoverrearflange coated in white color and exteriorgrille. The pressure dampers will contain three grade 304 SS Blades which pivot upon sealed for life bearing assemblies.

98	[i] To reduce the risk of medical oxygen system from contamination due to ignition of fluorinated polymer materials, only Non-Halogenated Polymer materials should be used in the Non-Return Valves and high-pressure side of the Pressure Regulators of the manifold system.

103	Item No 16 : Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of double Lock Gas - OXYGENOutlet Points with Adapter (BS OR DIN type) Indigenous Outlets should be manufactured with a 165 mm long Copper inlet pipe stub which is silver brazed to the outlet body. Body should be of one piece brass construction. For positive pressure gas services, the outlet should be equipped with a primary and secondary check valve and the secondary check valveshould be rated at minimum 200 psi in the event the primary check valve is removed for maintenance.

967	[vi] The ceiling should incorporate supports to secure it to the main structural frame of the modular operating theatre.
968	[vii] The ceiling should be constructed from 1.6 mm thick aluminium sheet frame painted, white after manufacture. Air should be diffused into the theatre uniformly over the total operating area.
969	[viii] The Laminar flow ceiling should also have illumination across its total area.
970	[ix] The lighting should be sufficient to provide an illumination level of 1500 Lux (with 40 Illumination lights) at the wound-site and should be dimmable down to 3% of full lighting, without flicker. Lighting should be generated from high frequency electronic ballast’s complete with colour corrected fluorescent tubes.
971	[x] The air light diffusers should be fitted with the aluminium extruded frame with gasket to avoid leakages, installed in a manner which allows them to be removed for access to the lamps and air filters for maintenance or replacement. Control equipment for the general lighting and the light dimming should be provided in the theatre control panel.
972	[xi] The Air light diffusers should consist of one-two layers of monofilament precision woven polyester bonded to aluminium frames.
973	[xii]The screens should have uniform porosity, with an open area of sufficient resistance to create laminar airflow from the diffuser face.
974	[xiii]The operating lamps should be secured directly to the framework of the supply ceiling in such a way as to minimise deflection. Further to take care of slab height. in addition to the lighting in the central area, optional lighting channel should be constructed around the perimeter of the flat ceiling area.
975	[xiv] This should contain a ring of high frequency fluorescent tubes to provide additional lighting outside the operating area to provide a minimum lighting level of 1000 Lux throughout the operating theatre. Controlequipment for the peripheral lighting should be provided in the theatre control panel to allow independent control of the lighting levels of both the central lighting and the peripheral lighting by the surgical team.
976	[xv] The peripheral light diffusers should be constructed from opal prismatic diffuser material in aluminium frames. All aluminium used in the construction should be enamelled white or anodised.

986	[i] The touch screen should be wall mounted, stationed in the visibility line of the surgeon and OT staff. The access height should be convenient for the nurse to operate and help/assistant when in need.

1008	Item No 160 : Supply and Installation of X - Ray view box duly flushed with OT wall with LED lights. The system shall satisfy electrical safety codes for high & low voltage system. It shall be equipped with a 3‐plate X‐Ray viewing screen. It shall also be designed to provide flicker free luminance for the film viewing purpose. It shall be installed flushed with the theatre wall for hygienic and ease of cleaning purpose. The X‐Ray viewing screen shall be designed for the purpose of front access. The X‐Ray viewing screen shall be illuminated by 4 pieces of high frequency LED lamps and the dimming is controlled by the usage of dimming ballast with the PCB that is mounted inside the box. The diffuser shall be able to diffuse the light evenly and to provide enough luminance for film viewing. It shall be made of high quality opaque acrylic sheet. The film should be held firmly by using spring‐loaded clips for ease of mounting and demounting.
1009	The body shall be built by using electrolyzed steel duly powder coated Led based dimmable X - RAY view boxprovide high level of controlled luminance (Uniformity of luminance should be >90%.) with reduced glare and flicker free and consume low power yet provide homogenous image effect. The Diffuser should be made of high quality white opaque acrylic sheet .All controls should be easily accessible and with high quality membrane switches. Dimmable switches shall be Feather touch with dimming range 3% - 100%.The Mains should be 110V – 240V, 50 – 60 Hz. LED technology should be used. Brightness should be >3000 Lux.Control should be 0 – 10v interface. Light color>2700k warm white. 1011	Item No 161 : Supply, Installation, fixing of One operating list board should be provided in each operating theatre. It should be made of ceramic having Magnetic properties and should be flushed to the wall of the operating room.
1012	[I] Writing Unit/White Board of size 900/600 mm flush mounted 1.60 mm thick white laminate board, bonded to a 40 mm high density fiber board sheet for additional rigidity. The unit should open to create a wall mounted writing surface within the operating room. The white board should be constructed from 1.6 mm thick, white laminate.Complete all as specified and directed by engineer-in-charge.
1013	HATCH BOX / PASS BOX :
1014	Item No 162 : Supply, Installation, fixing ofA Hatch of 600mm x 600mm size should be provided in the Operation Theatre as specified in the scope of the work to remove waste materials from the Operation Theatre to Dirty linen Area just adjacent to Operation Theatre. Each Hatch should be equipped with two doors and the door should be operated electronically. The Hatch should be designed in such a way that only one door should be opened at one time. The UV light should be so installed that it is kept on while both the doors are closed, this UV light has to be automatically turned off in case of opening of either of the doors. There should be indicators on both sides of the OT so that the door open/close status can be monitored from both ends. Hatch Box should be manufactured from Stainless Steel (Grade 304) Complete all as specified and directed by engineer-in-charge.
