Corrigendum : Tender For Annual Maintenance Of Fire Extinguishers And Fire Hydrants Located At Bhadra Generating Station- All The Extinguishers Shall Be Kept In Healthy Working Condition.Check And Inspect The Condition / Operational Readiness Of Fire Extinguishers.Check And Inspect Expiry Date On Fire Extinguishers.Empty Cylinders And Expired Cylinders Shall Be Segregated And Listed For Refilling.Carry Out The Refilling Works Of Co2,Mechanical Foam,Water Co2 And Abc Fire Extinguishers For Those Cylinders Which Are Empty And Crossed Expiry Date With Approval From Enginer In-Charge And All Refilling Works Of Mechanical Foam,Water Co2 And Dcp Shall Be Carried Out At Bhadra Generating Station Itself. Refilling Of Co2 And Abc Fire Extinguishers Shall Be Carried Out At Firm Works And Refilled Cylinders Shall Be Brought Back And Installed Within 07 Days.All Defective And Damaged Parts / Spares Of The Fire Extinguishers Shall Be Listed And Submitted. Such Damaged Parts / Spares Shall Be Supplied And Replaced With Approval From Engineer In-Charge Within Reasonable Time. Check / Inspect And List Out Defective Fire Extinguishers And Issue Condemnation Certificate.Carryout The Pressure Testing Of Water Co2, Mechanical Foam, Dcp, Abc And Co2 Type Fire Extinguishers Once In The Contract Period.Carry Out Quarterly Over All Supervision And Maintenance Of The Fire Extinguishers System In A Year And Label The Cylinders For Healthiness And Next Due Date Of Maintenance. Water Proof Labels / Covers Shall Be Used For Outdoor Fire Extinguishers. Refilling / Recharging Shall Be Carried Out Using Quality Materials Only. The Spare For Fire Extinguishers Parts Shall Be Supplied By Kpcl.There Are 06 Fire Hydrant Points At Left Bank Power House And 02 Fire Hydrant Points At Right Bank Power House Of Bhadra Generating Station.Carry Out Quarterly Over All Supervision And Maintenance Of The Fire Hydrant Systems In A Year And Report Shall Be Submitted For Healthiness Of The System. Carry Out Checks Of All The Fire Hydrants For Its Operational Readiness.Checking Of Pipelines, Valves, Nozzles, Hoses, Hose Reel Drums And Couplings For Healthy Condition. Any Abnormalities In The System Shall Be Rectified With Approval From Engineer In-Charge.The Firm Has To Conduct Fire Fighting Training In Theory, Practical And Panic Mock Drill Once In A Year. The Training Program Shall Be Conducted At Bhadra Generating Station. Time And Date Of The Training Program Shall Be Decided And Intimated By Engineer In-Charge.
