| 1 | Providing and fixing 2mm thick Poly propylene glass sheeting over a base layer of FRP having a thickness of 1.5mm in horizontal/vertical faces of neutralization pits/channels etc., by using suitable adhesives as approved by the EIC, removing the existing damaged PPG lining, surface preparation complete as per specifications, drawings, including sealing of the new PPG Lining with additional Strip of 25mm Welding and Rod Welding by homogeneous fusion process to the base sheet, the joints have to be tested withspark testing in the presence of EIC or his authorized representative, allcomplete including handing over the damaged PPG lining to sectional stores.Note: All the requried machinery,materials, tools and tackles have to be arranged by the contractor only. It maybe noted that, the work is required to be carried out during the common shut down of the plant. However, some areas can be executed during the plant operation as well. It may please be noted that, repair works if any like reinforced cement concreting, required reinforcement, 20mm thick water proof cement plaster and all finishing civil works will be paid under the Item No.2 |
| 2 | Preperatory civil works like levelling the areas with suitable Reinforced cement concrete works of 1:1.5:3 grade using necessary reinforcement (if required), 20mm thick water proof cementplastering using 1:3 cement mortar in two layers and all other civil works like cement slurry grouting wherever required complete as per specifications, drawings for exeution of Item No.1.Note: All the requried machinery,materials, tools and tackles have to be arranged by the contractor only. It maybe noted that, the work is required to be carried out during the common shut down of the plant. However, some areas can be executed during the plant operation as well. |
| 3 | Inspection & repairing of the existing PPG lining by removing the air voids and making good with suitable means like spark testing and repairing the joints and sheets using suitable adhesives and duly sealing the joints with welding by adding strip and rod in the damaged locations all complete as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. Note: Payment will be made based on the actural area of repair work carried out at site. |
| 4 | Providing and laying of Acid resistant bricks of size 230mm x 115mm x 38mm as per IS 4860 over a Polymer Based Mortar as per IS 4443 in Neutralization pits, channels in horizontal/vertical faces etc complete inlcuding removing of the existing damaged acid resistant bricks, surface preparation and levelling the areas with suitable Reinforced cement concrete works of 1:1.5:3 grade using necessary reinforcement (if required), 20mm thick water proof plastering using 1:3 cement mortar in two layers and all other civil works like cement slurry grouting wherever requiredincluding handing over the damaged acid resistant bricks to sectional stores & disposing the balance materials at designated places complete as per specifications, drawings and as directed by EIC. Note: All the requried machinery,materials, tools and tackles have to be arranged by the contractor only. |
| 5 | Inspection & repairing of the acid resistant brick Joints in the neutarlization pits/ channels and sealing of the joints with Polymer Base Material as per IS 4443 complete as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note: Payment will be made based on the actural area of repair work carried out at site. |
| 6 | Rectification/Rejointing of the Existing HDPE Pipe of having outer dia 315mm including removing the existing damaged pipe, realigning the pipe to correct level and joining the same with welding including necessary bed concrete, dismantling of concrete etc complete as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. |
| 7 | Providing, laying & fixing of HDPE pipe of having outer dia 315mm (2.5kg/Cm2 pressure rating) inlcuding jointing with welding including removing the exisitng damaged HDPE pipe by dismantling the existing concrete and laying of bed concrete for the new HDPE pipe complete as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. |
| 8 | Providing and applying a layer of protective coating with solvent free epoxy paint of \"Nitocote EP 140\" of M/s. FOSROC or equivalent at 100 micron (wet) i.e 40 micron DFT including dismantling the damaged FRP lining wherever required, preparation of the surface, cleaning etc., complete as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. |
