Tender For Provision Of Defi Or Md Accommodation In Pune As Evi Through Deposit Work By Mesauth- Hq Southern Command Letter No 202816/Evi/Chandani Chowk/Pune/Q(Wks) Dt 31 Jan 2024Station: Pune-01; Carrying outsoil investigation for 06 Nos bore holes of 10.00 m depth, 01 No bore hole of 15.00m depth with 07 Nos trial pit 1 pit 1.20x1.20x3.00m each and topographical survey with total station and submission of 04 set of report in hard copy as well as in soft copy. The objectives of the investigation were to obtain the followings-a) Subsurface profite detailing different stratum and their variation along the alignment.b) To determine the engineering properties of the stratum and design parameters to decide the suitable foundation.Scope of work:-i) Mobilization of necessary equipments, men and material to the project site for carrying out the geotechnicalinvestigation and demobilization of the same after completion of the field works etc, all complete as perspecification, drawings and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. (ii) General clearance of site and removal of shrubs, bushes etc. up to 150 mm below ground level and disposing at places as directed by Engineer-in-charge. (iii) Making 100 mm nominal diameter bore holes at various locations using Rotary Rig up to soil.(iv) After reaching the rock, the bore holes as above are to be extended by core drilling (Nx (size) in rocky strata using rotary drilling and double tube core barrel with diamond bits up to required depth below the existing ground surface as per directions of Engineer-in-Charge including collection and preservation of rock samples, recording of core recovery (1%) and R.Q.D (%) as specified. (v) Recording the depth of ground water table in all the bore holes if observed up to the depth of exploration during boring work as per IS & withdrawing the casing pipe.(vi) Collecting, packing and labelling the Undisturbed Samples in soil strata. (vii) Conducting Standard Penetration Tests (SPT) is soil, soft and weathered rock and collecting, packing and labrelling the samples.(vii) Preparation and submission of report including recommendations, suggestions for allowable bearing Conducting the following laboratory tests on selected soil samples collected from the test locations - Grain size analysis, free swell, Atteberg limits. (x) Conducting the following laboratory tests on selected Rock samples collected from the te test locations, Porosity, Unconfined Compressive Strength (UCS) Test, Water absorption, Dry density.(xi) Photos snaps of all bore holes of entire testing during taking soil samples to be provided. (xii) Topographical survey of entire site of area-7500 Sqm
