| 1 | Material and labour in repairs for maintenance free chemical earthing with following specification as follows complete all as specified and as directed:-(a) Copper electrode of 50mm outer dia with wall thickness minimum 2mm, not less than 3m length including copper strip of size 50 x 6mm minimum 2m long duly connected with copper electrode.(b) Fixing of copper earth electrode by drilling/ boring 175mm dia hole 5m deep in any type of strata, placing electrode along with extention earth strip 50 x 6mm 2 m long and mixing earthing soil resitivity improvement compound Gel/powder (Terralon) min 10kg per bore and 75kg soil resistivity improvement compound (Electrodite) mixing homogeneously as per manufacturer instruction.(c) FRP display board of size 254 x 380mm made out of plastic material showing type of earthing, earthing result, due date of testing duly fixed with 610mm height plastic hollow pipe of 20mm dia as directed. |
| 2 | (d) Earthing pit in PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 of internal size 300mm x 300mm x 300mm with 120mm thick wall and 700 x 700 x 150mm thick bed concrete and 50mm thick precast chamber cover of RCC 1:2:4 type B1 reinforced with welded steel wire fabric or XPM Jali (weight not less than 4.00 kg/Sqm), complete all as shown in electrical plate No -3 of SSR part - I complete.(e) Contractor must visit the site before quoting the tender to understand the site difficulty and cost for carrying out the job in the station. It is important that contractor should ascertain the quantum of work involved. |

| 6 | M & L in repairs earthing with copper earth plate electrode 600 X 600 X 3.15mm buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25m deep below ground level ) with top edge of the earth plate not less than 1.5m below ground level connected to copper strip 25 x 3mm thick for earthing lead fixed by means of nuts,bolt,washers etc.ofcopper / brass connected to earth test point complete all as specified in electrical plate NO 3 of SSR1996 part 1 ,including necessary excavation and earth work in any strata of soil, GI water pipe 20mm dia.funnel & wire mesh PCC pit with CI cover and frame etc complete all as specified and directed.Note:-Copper strip of size 25 x 3mm upto 7.50m length is deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted. The lenght more than 7.50m will be measured and paid seperately. |
| 7 | M & L in repairs earthing with GI earth plate electrode 600 X 600 X 6mm buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25M deep below ground level ) with top edge of the earth plate not less than 1.5M below ground level connected to GI strip 25 x 4mm thick for earthing lead fixed by means of nuts,bolt,washers etc of galvanised iron connected to earth test point complete all as specified in electrical plate NO 3 of SSR part 1 ,including necessary excavation and earth work in any strata of soil,GI water pipe 20mm dia, funnel &wire mesh PCC pit with CI cover and frame etc complete all as specified and directed. Note:-GI strip of size 25 x 3mm upto 7.50m length is deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted. |
| 8 | M&L in repairs earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed to wall on batten or recess or chases or buried in ground or drawn in conduit / pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for loop earthing etc as required 25 x 3mm copper strip including fixing arrengment like epoxy insulators on wall/pole etc. complete all as specified and directed. Note:- All the joints should be made with brazing to get proper conductivity. |
| 9 | M&L in repairs earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed to wall on batten or recess or chases or buried in ground or drawn in conduit/pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for loop earthing etc as required 25 x 4mm GI strip including fixing arrangment like epoxy insulators on wall/pole etc complete all as specified and directed. Note:- All the joints shall be made with welding to get proper conductivity. |

| 14 | Excavation in trenches in soft/loose soil not exc. 1.5m wide and not exc. 1.5m in depth and getting out for taking up / layingunder ground electric cable or for pole etc complete all as specified and as directed.Note :- Mechanical excavation is not allowed in this Stn. Hence only manual excavation is allowed and the rate shall be quoted accordingly. |
