2Providing, fabricating, cutting, erecting, and fixingin position structural steelworks of any shape usingRHS, SHS & circular hollow sections of Grade Yst 250 as per IS: 4923at all levels including welding,painting with a primary coat of approved steelprimer and transportation etc. complete as per specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (The welding weights shall not be measured for payments but cost of same shall be included in the rate.)
3Providing, fabricating, cutting, erecting, and fixingin position structural steelworks of any shape using ISMBs, Joists, channels, angles, flats, Tees, circular/ square bars etc.of minimum gradeFe 250, at all levels including welding,painting with a primary coat of approved steelprimer and transportation etc. complete as per specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (The welding weights shall not be measured for payments but cost of same shall be included in the rate.)

72. The contractor shall supply copy of Documentary evidence of purchase of steel, test certificates from the manufacturing firms and also testing from third party, if required to be arranged at no extra cost.
83. Welding weights, connections, bolts and nuts shall not be measured for payment but the cost of which shall be deemed to have been included in the rate.
94. All holes will be made by drilling only. Gas cutting of holes will not be permitted.
105. Electrodes manufactured by preferred make only shall be used.
116. Cost of scaffolding required for the work is deemed to be included in the rate. Bidders shall quote accordingly.
127. The rate shall include providing and fixing anchor fastnerin cement concrete / reinforced cement concrete surface including drilling necessary holes and chemical ahdesive as per manufactures specification and as directed by EIC. The contractor shall submit the design for load carrying capacity of anchoring before execution.
13Earthwork excavation in foundations in all soils other than soft and hard rock by mechanical means (hydraulic Excavator)/manual means upto a depth as mentioned below. including shoring and dewatering, if necessary and refilling around foundations and in plinth with selected excavated earth, in layers not exceeding 250mm thick, consolidating etc., and disposing surplus earth within a distance of 50 metre lead and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (Depth of excavation shall be measured from the existing average ground level.)

24Providing and fixing reinforcement for reinforced cement concrete using TMT bars of preferred make having minimum yield strength of Fe 500 or higher grade as per IS:1786 at all levels including supplying, cutting, bending, fixing, tying in position with 1.6mm dia soft drawn annealed binding wire etc. complete including cost of binding wire as per drawing, specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
25Note: 1 - The steel reinforcement bars shall be brought by the contractor atterms & conditions specified.TMT bars manufactured in the brand name of preferred make shall only be permitted subject to furnishing of challans, valid test report issued by the manufacturer, pertaining to elongation,yield strength,Bend rebend test etc.
26Note : 2 - Random testing of sample collected at site shall be arranged by the contractor at their own cost.One sample comprising of three specimens shall be collected for every 25MT of bars brought at site .Therepresentive of department shall associate with the engineer of contractor at each stage right from sampling of testing . All charges ,transport,taxes etc shall be borne by the contractor.
27Note : 3 - The contractor shall be solely respossible all the time for watch & ward of bars/binding wires etc at their own cost.
28Note : 4 - 1.60mm dia . Soft drawn annealed BINDING WIRE required for the work will have to be procured by the contractor at their own cost and will not be measured for payment .
29Note : 5 - Other conditions as stipulated in general condition, special conditions, additional conditions and specification shall also be applicable and no claim whatsoever on account of enforcing these provisions shall be entertained .

The stone slab shall be provided in single piece of upto 1800 mm length at some areas.
62For Treads / window sill over cement mortar 1:2 bedding, with all exposed edges machine cut and surfaces hand polished after laying.
63Providing and laying polyvinyl (PVC) rolls/tiles manufactured by preferred make of thickness 2 mm heavy duty solid vinyl flooring of approved colour, pattern and designs for flooring, skirting/dado laid on existing smooth cement tile or concrete or plastered finish, with suitable adhesive as per manufacturer"s specifications, close jointed by PVC welding and finished to proper bends, slope and plumb, including removing old PVC flooring (if any) etc. complete and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

69Non Slippery Ceramic tile flooring/dado using 6mm thick matt finished ceramic tiles of sizes as mentioned below, 1st quality of preferred make over 20mm thick cement mortar 1:3 bedding, close jointed and pointed with matching cement slurry using white cement pigment mixed with, finished to levels slope or plumb as required including 20mm thick cement mortar 1:3 bedding, making good the surface before bedding, cutting of tiles, curing, acid washing etc. complete and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

72Providing and fixing in position first class double charged vitrified porcelain tiles(thickness to be specified by the manufacturers) with water absorption less than 0.08% and conforming to IS:15622,of preferred manufacturer of size 600 mmx 600 mm of approved color, pattern and design for flooring, skirting or dado laid in floor, wall of existing concrete or plastered surface over 20 mm thick cement mortar 1:3 bedding open jointed and pointed with matching slurry @ 3.30 kg/sqm using white cement with pigments finished to levels, slope or plumb as required including cement mortar bedding, cutting of tiles to required size and curing, acid washing etc. complete and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
73Providing and fixing in position clear sheet glass / float glass / frosted glass of preferred make and of following thickness fixed to aluminum windows, doors, partitions, ventilators etc. with edges champhered (wherever required) and fixing with available aluminum beading in steel windows with PVC/Neoprene Gasket Lining etc. complete including removing and stacking old glass from the window wherever required and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note: Only the clear opening of Glass shall be measured for payment. Aluminum snap beading shall be measured and paid under relevant item.

75Providing waterproof BRICK BAT COBA for filling in the depression of toilets, bathroom etc., as per the specifications of specialised waterproofing agencies and finishing the surface even so as to be suitable to receive the tiles etc. complete and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note : The measurement shall be on m³ basis. No deductions shall be made for the areas occupied by pans and other fittings and fixtures.
76Providing cement based waterproofing treatment to Terraces (average thickness 110mm) by cleaning the concrete surfaces, giving injections to top slab as required with cement and approved waterproofing compound solution to fill up all inherent holes, voids honey-combs etc. in the concrete slab, setting brick bat coba in waterproof mortar 1:4 with necessary gradient for easy flow of water and continue the treatment along the inner faces of parapet or other adjoining wall upto a height of 300 mm in the shape of vatas, with waterproof plaster 1:3 finished smooth with trovel with geru finish, including the cost of providing & fixing the glass fibre cloth (45gsm) of approved quality in top layer of plaster and finally finishing the surface with trovel with neat cement slurry and making pattern of 300x300 mm square 3 mm deep complete and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (The treatment shall be tested by ponding water for a period of 10 days & dose of waterproofing compound solution is as per manufacturers specification).
77Stages of treatment: (a) Applying a slurry coat of neat cement using 2.75 kg/sqm of cement admixed with water proofing compound conforming to IS. 2645 and approved by Engineer-in-charge over the RCC slab including adjoining walls upto 300 mm height including cleaning the surface before treatment. (b) Laying brick bats with mortar using broken bricks/brick bats 25 mm to 100 mm63mm (as applicable) size with 50% of cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand) admixed with water proofing compound conforming to IS:2645 and approved by Engineer-in-charge over 20 mm thick layer of cement mortar of mix 1:4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand ) admixed with water proofing compound conforming to IS : 2645 and approved by Engineer-in-charge to required slope and treating similarly the adjoining walls upto 300 mm height including rounding of junctions of walls and slabs.
78(c) After two days of proper curing, applying a second coat of cement slurry using 2.75 kg/ sqm of cement admixed with water proofing compound conforming to IS : 2645 and approved by Engineer-in charge. (d) Finishing the surface with 20 mm thick jointless cement mortar of mix 1:3 (1 cement :3 coarse sand) admixed with water proofing compound conforming to IS : 2645 and approved by Engineer-in-charge including laying glass fibre cloth of 45 gsm of approved quality in top layer of plaster and finally finishing the surface with trowel with neat cement slurry and making pattern of 300x300 mm square 3 mm deep.
791. The waterproofing treatment is to be GUARANTEED for bone dry condition for a period of 10 years.
802. An amount @ 10% of the value of the item shall be withheld by the department for a period of 10 years from the date of completion.
813.The measurement for payment shall be the entire area of terrace covered by the treatment measured between brick/concrete parapets without plaster and the area of vatas calculated by taking the length of vatas and the height above the finished level of the terrace/chajja.
82Fabrication, supply and fixing of extruded aluminum alloy double wall remote control Rolling shutters with side one operator drive unit and Direct drive option, confirming to IS 6248 (1979). Extrusion for the components of rolling shutters shall be conforming to 53000 (NE5) or 64430 (HE30) of IS: 733 etc. complete as per drawings, specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
83NOTE :- Curtain shall be built up from interlocking lath sections of aluminum alloy conforming to 53000 (NE5) or 64430 (HE30) of IS: 733. The thickness of lath sections for curtains shall not be less than 18 gauge (1.25 mm) section, with nominal profile height as 78 mm +/- 0.05 mm. The lath section shall have interlocking curls at both edges and a deep corrugation at the centre with a bridge depth of 16 mm to provide sufficient curtain stiffness for resisting manual pressure and normal wind pressure. Each lath section shall be continuous single piece without any welded joint. When interlocked, the lath section shall have a distance of nominal 75 mm between rolling centresThe Lock Plate provided at the bottom of the shutter, shall be composed of a mild steel plate not less than 3.15 mm thick, reinforced with mild steel angle not less than 35 x 35 x 5 mm at bottom of the plate. The lock plate shall also be provided withpulling handles, one handle for 2.5 m width and 2 handles for widths above 2.5 m.Guide channels shall be of mild steel deep channel section of rolled, pressed or built up (fabricated) construction. The thickness of the sheet used shall not be less than 3.15 mm.Each guide shall have a minimum of 3 fixing cleats. The spacing of cleats shall not exceed 0.75 m Bracket Plates shall be fabricated out of mild steel plate of 3.15 mm thick. Hood covers shall be made of mild steel sheets not less than 0.9 mm thick
84Providing, fabricating and erecting S.S. tube railing of 304 Grade comprising 50mm dia. & 16 gauge thick S.S. single pipe for top and 25mm dia. double member for vertical, providing and fixing runner pipes of 19mm dia. S.S on middle in three rows including providing and fixing bottom and end caps as per approved design on the top & end of the members, buffing of welded surfaces, cutting, welding the joints, grinding/muffing if necessary etc. complete and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
85Providing, fabricating, supplying and erecting factory made single/double leaf metal flush door insulated with polyurethane foam (density of PUF shall be 40kg/m³) of preferred make consisting of 1.5 mm galvanised pressed steel frame of size 105mm x 57mm with suitable stiffeners and 1mm prime quality galvanised pressed steel shutter, 35mm thick shutter with necessary stiffeners for hardware, with applying a coat of two pack epoxy primer and two coats of polyurethane paint above etc. complete including providing & fixing vision panel using 4mm plain glass, aluminum/CPMS fittings, fixtures heavy duty Stainless steel hinges, preferred make door closure and locking arrangements with screw and check for correctness of recesses and stiffening plates for all fittings & fixtures including the cost of grouting the hollow portion of door frame with cement concrete 1:2:4 etc. complete and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note: Fittings & fixtures shall be as indicated in drawing. (Item for Laboratory buildings)
86Providing and fixing factory made 30 mm thick pre laminated PVC door shutter (conforming to IS: 4020) with PVC door Frame (Choukhat) of preferred make consisting of followings :
871. PVC door frame of size 50x47mm with wall thickness of 5mm, made out of extruded 5mm thick rigid PVC foam sheet, mitred ar corners and joined with 2nos. 150mm long brackets of 15x15 mm M.S. square tube, the vertical door frame profiles to be reinforced with 19x19 mm M.S. square tube of 19 gauge, rubber gasket weather seal to be provided through out the frame. The door frame to be fixed to the wall using M.S. screws of 65/100 mm size, complete as per manufacturer"s specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
882. PVC door shutter consisting of frame made out of M.S. tubes of 19 gauge thickness and of size 19 mm x 19 mm for styles and 15x15 mm for top & bottom rails. M.S. frame shall have a coat of steel primers of approved make and manufacturer, M.S. frame covered with 5 mm thick heat moulded PVC "C" channel of size 30 mm thickness, 70 mm width out of which 50 mm shall be flat and 20 mm shall be tapered in 45 degree angle on both side forming styles and 5 mm thick, 95 mm wide PVC sheet out of which 75mm shall be flat and 20 mm shall be tapered in 45 degree on the inner side to form top and bottom rail and 115 mm wide PVC sheet out of which 95 mm shall be flat and 20 mm shall be tapered on both sides to form lock rail. Top, bottom and lock rails shall be provided both side of the panel. 10 mm (5 mm x 2 ) thick, 20 mm wide cross PVC sheet be provided as gap insert for top rail & bottom rail, panelling of 5 mm thick both side PVC sheet to be fitted in the M.S. frame welded/ sealed to the styles & rails with
897 mm (5 mm+2 mm) thick x 15 mm wide PVC sheet beading on inner side and joined together with solvent cement adhesive. An additional 5 mm thick PVC strip of 20 mm width is to be stuck on the interior side of the "C" Channel using PVC solvent adhesive & including all fittings, fixtures & 4 nos. 100 mm long heavy duty S.S. hinges etc. complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge, manufacturer"s specification & drawing.
