24Providing, supplying and laying polyethylene sheet 250 microns thick conforming to ASTM D- 4397) having an overlap of 75mm in transverse and longitudinal direction as directed. The sheet shall be uniform in width and thickness and free from defects such as pin holes, air bubbles, stains etc. The sheet shall be laid flat over the PCC broomed sub-base prior to concreting of grade / raft slab. The end of the sheet should butt properly against form work or adjacent concrete as the case may be without gaps. The entire work to be carried out as per detailed specification and as directed by the Engineer
25Section C - REINFORCEMENT & STRUCTURAL STEEL Providing Reinforcement Steel for reinforced cement concrete at all levels including supplying, preparation of bar bending schedules, cutting, bending, transporting, fixing, tieing in position with PVC coatedG.I binding wire, all labour charges, cost of cover blocks in specified grade of concrete etc. complete as per specifications and drawings. Steel supplied by the contractor. Using TMT bars of specified grades (as specified in drawings). TMT bars to be supplied by vendors manufactured using virgin materials for all diameter Note: (1) The contractor shall supply documentary evidence of purchase of steel, Test certificate frommanufacturers and also testing third party from approved laboratories with out any extra cost. (2) The binding wire required for the work will have to be supplied by the contractor at their own cost and will not be measured for payment (3) Cover blocks shall be of same grade of concrete
26Section D - MASONRY WORKS Providing and Laying Solid cement concrete block masonry with M-5 Grade in cement mortar 1:4 (using crushed sand) as per specifications.
27Providing and Laying Autoclaved Aerated cement block masonrywith specified thick AAC Blocks in Super structure above plinth level up to 20 m height in cement mortar 1:4 (using crushed sand) as per specifications. The rate shall also include providing and placing in position 2 nos of 10 mm dia bars at every third course of the masonry work

34Providing and fixing 1st quality ceramic glazed wall tiles conforming to IS 15622 of approvedshade and colour of size ranging from 300 - 600 mm long and 300 mm - 600 mm wide and thickness not less than 6 mm as approved by Engineer-in-charge in skirting, risers of steps and dados over 12 mm thick bed of cement mortar 1:3 (using crushed sand), setting the tiles in cement slurry and pointing the joints with matching colour Tile grout of matching shade including using PVC tile trim in the exposed corners, complete as per drawings, patterns and specifications complete as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

38Providing and fixing FRP door shutters flush door / panelled type with plain colour or wooden veneer finish approved design & colour. made out of 1.5 mm thick FRP skin moulded over wooden frame work of 40 mm wide and required thickness wooden styles and minimum 100 mm wide lock rails and wooden blocks for door stoppers, tower bolts, baby latch, aldrop, handles etc. wherever required and core filled with Polyurethane Foam and fixing with 4 Nos 100 mm (ISI marked) stainless steel hinges with S.S. wood screws as per specifications. 35 mm thick panelled door type of approved colours including the cost of 100 mm ISI marked heavy quality stainless steel butt hinges with necessary screws.
39Providing and fixing of Hollow metal Two Hour fire rated doors (of approved ISO 9001-2000 certified Manufacturer)as per IS 3614 part-1 & part-2 for stability and integrity. Pressed Galvanized steel confirming to IS 277 with the following specifications. The recommended fire doors shall be tested at CBRI or ARAI for maximum rating of 2 hours with vision panel. Test certificates shall be furnished for vision panels as part of the fire door assembly. Independent glasstest certificates shall not be accepted. The manufacturer"s test certificate shall cover all doors supplied shall be within the tested specimen. Deviation in specification and sheet thickness other than what is mentioned in the test certificates shall not be allowed. Proper label confirming the type of door and the hourly rating shall be mandatory. Door frame shall be double rebate profile of size 143 x 57 mm made out of 1.60mm (16 gauge) minimum thick galvanized steel sheet. Frames shall be Mitered and field assembled with self tabs. All provision shall be mortised, drilled and tapped for receiving appropriate hardware. Rubber door silencers shall be provided on the striking jamb. Frames shall be provided with back plate bracket and anchor fasteners for installation on a finished plastered masonry wall opening. Once frame installed shall be grouted with cement & sand slurry necessary for fire doors on the clear masonry opening.
40Door leaf shall be 46mm thick fully flush double skin door with vision panels of size as indicated below. Door leaf shall be manufactured from 1.2mm (18 guage) minimum thick galvanised steel sheet. The internal construction of the door shall be rigid reinforcement pads for receiving appropriate hardware. The infill material shall be resin bonded honeycomb core. All doors shall be factory prepped for receiving appropriate hardware and provided with necessary reinforcement for hinges, locks, and door closers. The edges shall be interlocked with a bending radius of 1.4mm. For pair of doors astragals shall be provided on the meeting stile for both active and inactive leaf. Vision panel wherever applicable shallbe provided as per manufacturer"s recommendation with a beading and screws from inside. The glass shall be 6mm clear borosilicate fire rated glass of relevant rating of the door. All doors and frames shall be finished with etched primer coating, stove zinc phosphate primer and thermosetting polyurethane aliphatic grade paint of approved colour. The door leaf and frame shall have passed minimum 250 hours of salt sprey test Rate shall include for self adhesive side rolls, supply and fixing of 3mm thick base plates, all joints of frames with provision for anchor bolt fixing to wall / RC surface, reinforcement pad for fixing of door closers, factory finish, pre-punched cut outs to receive hardwares and iron mongery, 3mm thick hinge plates predrilled to receive hinges for screw mounted fixing,Fire rateddoor closers, Fittings & Fixtures complete.
41The rate shall include for providing and fixing intumescent fire / smoke seals mounted on all the grooves / gaps between the shutter / frame on all sides including the bottom / floor seals to ensure two hour fire rating to the complete satisfaction of the Engineer. 43Providing and fixing anodized aluminium work for doors, windows, ventilators and partitions with extruded built up standard tubular sections / Z sections and other sections conforming to IS 733 and IS 1285 fixed with rawl plugs and screws or with fixing clips or with expansion hold fasteners including necessary filling up of gaps at junctions, at top, bottom and sides with required PVC / neoprene gasket etc. Aluminium sections shall be smooth, rust free, straight, mitred and jointed mechanically wherever required including cleat angle, aluminium snap beading for glazing / panelling, C.P brass / stainless screws all complete as per drawings,specifications and and directions of Engineer-in-charge including providing and fixing hinges / pivots and making provision for fixing of fittings wherever required including the cost of PVC / neoprene gasket required filling the gaps using silicon grout sealant etc. (fittings glazing and panelling shall be paid for separately)
44Note : (1) Anodised aluminium sections, aluminum beading, aluminium sheets & aluminium handles used only will be measured for payment. No extra payment will be made for all non-aluminium consumables items like SS friction stays, concealed SS tower bolts, sliding tracks, rollers, bearings, screws, gasket, weather strips, PVC lining, etc. (2) Glass, particle boards, anodised aluminium grills, brass mesh, louvers, etc. will be measured & paid separately under relevant items. (3) All fittings shall be of matching colour anodised of aluminium sections. 4) Door hardware shall be measured and paid separately. Note : 1) The rates for aluminium is inclusive of all fastners required for fabrication and fixing in the walls. 2) All joints shall be of mittered Joints. 3) A long M.S rod threaded at both ends to be provided in all aluminium door shutters in Top & bottom Horizontal members internally connecting Vertical members and fixed with M.S washers & nuts. 4) Only Aluminium members alone shall be measured and paid for. 57Section H - WATERPROOFING WORKS Note : All the waterproofing treatment shall be executed through a water- proofing agency approved by the Engineer. A written guarantee on non-judicial stamp paper shall be submitted by the Contractor for a minimum period of ten / twenty years from the certified date of completion for the satisfactory performance of the entire water-proofing system. Providing and laying water proofing treatment in sunken portions of WCs, bath rooms, trenches, tanks etc. by appying cement slurry mixed with water proofing cement compound consisting of applying: (a) 1st layer of slurry of cement @ 0.488 kg / sq.m mixed with water proofing cement compound @ 0.253 kg per sq.m. including injecting cement slurry .This layer will be allowed to air cure for 4 hours. (b) 2nd layer of slurry of cement @ 0.242kg / sq.m mixed with water proofing cement compound @ 0.126 kg / sq.m. This layer will be allowed to air cure for 4 hours followed with water curing for 48 hours. The rate includes preparation of surface, treatment and sealing of all joits, corners, junctions of pipes and masonry with polymer mixed slurry. Finishing the surface with 20 mm thick jointless cement mortar of mix 1:4 (using coarse sand) admixed withproprietary water proofing compound confirming to IS 2645 and approved by Engineer-in-charge including mixing Multi Dimensional Graded Fibrillated 100% virgin polypropylene fibres (conforming to ASTM C-1116 Type III, 4.1.3 and ASTM C-1018) at a dosage of at 125 gms. per 50 kg of Cement in top layer
58Providing cement based water proofing treatment to the new terraces, chajjas, cleaning the concrete surfaces, giving injections to the top slab as required with cement and approved waterproofing compound solution to fill up all inherent holes, voids, honeycombs etc. in the concrete slab, setting brickbat coba in waterproof mortar with necessary gradient for easy flow of water and continue the treatment along the inner faces of parapet or other adjoining wall up to a height of 300 mm in thew shape of vattas, with waterproof plaster finished smooth with trowel in cement / geru with false markings of 300 mm squares complete as per specifications & as directed by the Engineer-incharge With Average thickness of 120 mm and minimum thickness at khurra as 65 mm using river sand / crushed sand
59Providing cement based water proofing treatment to the new terraces, chajjas, cleaning the concrete surfaces, giving injections to the top slab as required with cement and approved waterproofing compound solution to fill up all inherent holes, voids, honeycombs etc. in the concrete slab, setting brickbat coba in waterproof mortar with necessary gradient for easy flow of water and continue the treatment along the inner faces of parapet or other adjoining wall up to a height of 300 mm in thew shape of vattas, with waterproof plaster finished smooth with trowel in cement / geru with false markings of 300 mm squares completeas per specifications & as directed by the Engineer-incharge Average 65 mm thick for chajjas using river sand / crushed sand
60Section I - PHWORKS Providing, laying , jointing, fixing and testing heavy quality(ISI Marked C-Class) Galvanised Iron pipes and ISI marked fittings like, tees, elbows, bends, unions, nipples, reducers etc. as required for the work, including testing the pipes and fittings for 10.00 Kg / Sq.Cm hydraulic pressure with a minimum period of two hours duration with clean water, including cutting , threading, jointing with hemp yarn, white lead, jointing teflon tape, chasing walls and making good by filling with concrete 1:3:6, complete all as per specifications and drawings, including two coats of anti corrosive bitumastic paint, all as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. 98Conducting Water tightness / Hydro test for water retaining structures including all labour, materials, tools, equipment, services and including the following : (i) Testingof all water retaining structures for water tightness shall be carried out in accordance with Clause No. 12 of IS : 3370 (Part 1) : 2009 & and Appendix G of AERB/SS/CSE-1 (AERB CODE) to the satisfaction of the Engineer-in-charge, (ii) Providing and installing all supplementary or miscellaneous appurtenances and devices incidental for testing purpose, (iii) Preparatory works, methodology statement & conducting water tightness test with prior approval from the Engineer-in-Charge, (iv) Preparing & submitting necessary reports with results recorded in a systematic manner Note : a) The contractor shall be responsible for testing, re-testing, patching and repair as required to meet watertightness requirements for the water retaining structures. b) The water required for carrying out the test shall be arranged by the Contractor without any extra cost to the Owner, c) The net volume of water occupied by the structure shall be measured for payment.
99SECTION J- ELECTRICAL & MECHANICAL WORKS General Notes for Structural Steel works: (1) 70% payment release on supply, fabricating & assembling of EP Remaining 30% on hoisting / erecting fixing in position. (2) Reconciliation statement of SS EPs with respect to actual consumption against theoretical consumption as per approved proforma shall be submitted to the Engineer-in-Charge periodically as instructed. (3) The contractor shall submit fabrication drawings for work involved based on construction drawings (that may be issued during construction period) for approval by the Engineer-in-Charge. (4) The fabrication work shall start only after approval of the fabrication drawings. Any change required in the fabrication drawings shall be carried out at no extra cost. (5) Welding shall be carried out by professional / certified welders. Qualifying tests for welders to be employed for arc welding shall be in accordance with IS : 2751. (6) Electrodes for welding, the procedure, selection, test and inspection shall confirm to provisions in IS 816, IS 818, IS 822, & IS 833. (7) Erection / hoisting shall commence only after approval of fabricated parts by the Engineer-incharge. (8) Structural steel confirming to IS 2062 shall be supplied from the vendors from their own plants rolled from virgin materials to be procured directly or from their authorised dealers and test cerificate to be produced. (9) The contractor shall supply documentary evidence of purchase of steel. The test certificate frommanufacturers and also cost of third party testing from approved laboratories shall be included in the rate with out any extra cost. (10) Welding Electrodes ofspecified suitable grade only shall be used (11) Holes shall be drilled by Drilling machines only and gas cutting of holes is not permitted . (12) Rate shall be inclusive of all consumables like gas, welding electrodes, tools and tackles etc Providing Structural steel work in M.S Plain Plates and chequered Plates for Embedded Parts, Trench Covers, Connection plates etc. Including cutting, hoisting, fixing in position and applying a priming coat of approved zinc chromate steel primer etc. Including cost of structural steel Plates, welding all labour charges etc. complete as per drawings and specifications. Using materials produced by vendors using virgin materials.
100Supply and embedment of 16 SWG black enamaled heavy duty rigid mild steel (MS) ERW conduit pipe of following sizes along with all accessories such as bends, junction box, socket, check nut, etc. including making threads, removing burrs, connection of accessories, drawing of fish wire, laying in RCC slab, beam and wall, cutting & Laying in brick wall, etc. as required under the instruction of Engineer-in-incharge and as per Technical Specifications.
