1M&L for disconnecting carefully electrical connection from both HT/ LT (primary & secondary) sides of the transformer, keeping them at safe side and taking out the transformer / voltagestabiliser, indoor/ outdoor type of capacity 500 KVA to 800 KVA, 11 KV / 0.433 KV, step down, of any make, for carrying out complete overhauling which shall comprise of the following:- a) M&L for lifting, transporting, handling the transformer to workshop and back to the original location after complete overhauling. b) Conducting the tests on core and windings as per IS like ratio, magnetic imbalance, short circuit etc. in presence of Engr-in-Charge and test results shall be signed both by the contractor and Engineer -in-Charge and kept on record. Note:- (i)Any damage to insulators / bushes / windings etc. while in the custody of the contractor shall be made good at no extra cost to Department. The serviceability of the transformer shall be checked and confirmed by the contractor before taking into his custody. (ii) M&L for rewinding / re-insulation of HT/ LT (primary/ secondary) coils, bushes, studs, Transformer oil, cable box, replacement of buchholtz relay/ MOG if any etc will be measured and paid separately.
2All as per Item No. 1.00 above buttransformer / Voltage stabiliser indoor / outdoor type of capacity up to 250 KVA to 400 KVA
3All as per Item No. 1.00 above buttransformer / Voltage stabiliser indoor / outdoor type of capacity up to 100 KVA to 200 KVA
4Filtration of transformer oil of transformers / FRMUs installed at various locations to achieve di-electric strength not less than 60 KV at 2.5mm gap as per relevant IS with portable filtration plant, testing of the oil for the di-electric strength before filtration and after filtration complete all as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
5Supply and topping up of transformer oil with di-electric strength not less than 60 KV into the conservator tank / body tank of the transformer / OCB / FRMUs etc at various locations complete all as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Make: Apar (Power Oil) / Savita (Transol) / Asian
6M&L for rewinding of distribution (HT/LT) transformers of capacity 500 KVA to 800 KVA type by winding the defective coils with new copper wire as per I.S. of same gauge and existing size together with new insulated materials / bracings before placing in to the transformer and assembling the coil with new insulation and fitting the coils in the chamber, testing and commissioning the transformer and recording the test results complete all as directed. Note: M&L for re-insulation of serviceable coils will be measured & paid separately under relevant items.
7All as per Sl item No. 6.00 above but transformers of capacity 100 KVA to 400 KVA
8M&L for re-insulating windings of HT / LT distribution transformers of capacity 100 KVA to 800 KVA by strip opening of HT /LT coils(i.e. Primary / secondary coils) from core assembly safely, unwinding the HT / LT coils (i.e. Primary / secondary coils) complete, removing the old defective insulation paper and replacing with newDPC insulation to the copper conductor, re-varnishing of the windings with super varnish including heating, drying, backing complete carefully and thoroughly inside the heating chamber at suitable temperature to obtain required value of insulation resistance etc. all as directed by Engr-in- charge.
9Disconnection of the distribution transformer of capacity 100 KVA to 800 KVA from HT and LT supply mains, removing of Bus duct and Bus bar, leakage arresting by draining out of oil after arrangement of necessary empty oil drums, buckets etc.,dismantling of top cover and acessories, dismantling of LT bushings by disconnecting leads / jumpers from inside, replacement of gaskets and oil seals and re fixing of the LT bushings, making internal and external connections, replacement of cover gasket and acessories, reassembling of acessories and cover, filling back of existing transformer oil complete and making cable connections and assessing for energising the transformer complete all as specified and as directed. Note:(i) The rate quoted shall include cost of materials like gaskets and oil seals and labour etc. (ii) Bushing and bushing rods shall be measured and paid separately.
10Disconnecting the HT/LT connections of transformer of capacity 63 KVA to 800 KVA i.e (Bus duct / Cable bunch) keeping all the cables out from the HT/LT sides, physically checking the transformer for healthiness, performing the transformer tests like HV/LV Meggar test, Ratio Test, Magnetic Balance test and short circuit tests for checking condition of transformer complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- (i) All testing shall be done in presence of Engr-in-Charge or his accredited rep and test reports shall be signed by contractor and Engr-in-Charge and kept on record. (ii) If the transsformer found satisfactory then HT/LT connections shall be done by the contractor and has to charge the transformer. (iii)If the transformer fails in these tests then the contractor has to shift the transsformer for winding /overhauling which will be measured and paid separately. (iv)Cost of winding / overhauling if required shall be measured and paid separately.
11Shifting the Transformer of capacity 100 to 800 KVA from existing site to another site within 3 Km distance range by Dismantling of HT and LT cable connections, jumpers and busbars including LT busbar cable boxes and closing the transformers for loading into transporting vehicle with the help of crane, transportation to another site, unloading, cable connections both HT and LT, testing and commissioning complete all as specified and as directed.
12M&L for replacement of silica gel breather assembly complete suitable for 100 KVA to 800 KVA transformer as per existing with breather unit and silica gel including connecting with proper necessary gaskets if necessary & removing the unserviceable breather assembly complete all as specified and as directed.
13S&F in repair conservator tank assembly suitable for transformer of capacity 200 to 800 KVA as per existing and including connecting properly with gaskets if necessary & removing the unserviceable conservator tank complete all as specified and as directed.

24M&L for replacement of Drain plugs to valves/conservator caps of the sizes 3/4", 1", 1.5" valves and plugs, as per existing suitable for distribution transformers of capacity 100 to 800 KVA including dismantling old one and complete all as specified and as directed.
25Clearing away all bushes, small plants, grass, vegetation, saplings, shrubs, brushwood, undergrowth, roots upto root level including surface dressing n.exc 15 cm deep around and surroundings areas of E/M installations (i.e.Two Pole/ Four structures, outdoor-substation yards, pump house & Misc E/M installations etc) and removing rubbish / debris upto a distance of not less than 50 metres outside the periphery of the area under clearance complete all as directed.
26Supply and laying hardcore of aggregate using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate, deposited, spread and leveled in layers watered and rolled / rammed to a true surface in sub-station yards complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Thickness of aggregate shall be measured after compaction.
27Surface dressing not exc. 15 cm deep as in soft / loose soil complete all as specified and directed.
28M&L sand cushioning with clean and dry sand in trenches for protection of UG cable and including punning down complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Punned thickness shall only be measured and paid.
29Excavation in trenches, not exc 1.5 m wide and not exc 1.5 m in depth; for foundation, etc. or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, etc. n exc 10 sq m on plan and n exc 1.5 m in depth and getting out all excavated material in soft / loose soil complete all as specified and directed.
30Returning, filling in and including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick as in soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Note:- (i) Arrangement of necessary testing / calibration kits, testing equipments, tools etc. shall be done by contractor and cost of the same shalll deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted. (ii) Testing & tuning shall be carried out in the presence of representative of the accepting officer to the entire satisfaction of the rep of GE.
63Taking down HT switch gear (Vacuum circuit breaker ) at P-5 sub station, DEGA Sub station of capacity11 KV 250/350 MVAcomprising of following repairs, overhauling, servicing, carrying out preventive maintenance and refixing the same after repairs/ overhauling: (a) Tripping off the breaker, lowering the breaker with raising/lowering handle and pulling out the breaker complete from the panel along with the trolley for servicing/inspection/overhauling (b) Servicing/Inspecting/checking of automatic safety shutter, circuit spoutand circuit spout connections for RYB phases and replacement of spares operation for serviceability and replacement of spares if required. (c) Dismantling and checking of cross bar assembly, fixed contacts and current carrying parts of the breaker, trolley, insulated assembly and checking lamination with clamps, epoxy spout, isolator assembly etc. (d) Setting, reassembling, cleaning, adjustment of fixed contacts, main contact, arcing contacts and chamber baffle pot assembly, moving contact for proper setting of auxiliary contacts operating mechanism. (e)Servicing/Inspecting/checking ofsecondary sockets/busbar earthing plugs/earthing sockets and replacement of spares if required. (f)Checking, setting and adjustment of lowering and raising operation of the breaker trolley. (g)Decarbonising of busbar and connected items (h)Lubrication and greasing of all moving parts of the trolley, stopper bolt for proper operating and closing of shutter gear, isolation resistance of trolley of with vacuum interrupter assembly. 64j) The inspection of HT switch gear shall involve:- (i) Inspection of truck & hoist assembly. (ii) Inspection of tank assembly & barriers. (iii) Inspection of assembly & components of solenoid assembly. (iv) Inspection of assembly & components of dependent mechanism. (v)Inspection of assembly & components of spring box mechanism. (vi)Inspection of motor mechanism spring charge assembly (vii)Inspection of assembly of trip unit & related components Note:(i) The servicing includes for busbar duct chamber, cable alleys and connecting accessories (ii) The rate quoted shall be deemed to include for necessary T&P, nuts, bolts, washers, gasket, insulation tape, compound, painting of VCB panels with approved colour including lettering details all as per existingetc. to put in to the VCBs and panels in serviceable condition, testing and commissioning all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. (iii) Major spares like Breaker bushings, vacuum interrupter assly, busbar spout, busbar spout connections, circuit spout/circuit spout connections/buffer fixed contacts, moving contacts, tank assly/barriers, solenoid spares, dependent/spring mechanism/ motor mechanism, trip unit etc will be measured and paid separately under relevant items of Schedule "A". However the rate quoted shall be deemed to include for any other minor spares require replacement. (iv) The servicing shall be carried out by Rep of Auhtorised service centre as approved by GE.
65Supply only the following spares suitable for 250 to 450 MVA HT switch gear VCBs and 11 KV HT panel repair work & of make as per OEM (if not specifically specified) :-
66CTs epoxy cast wound primary CTs with minimum primary current 50 to 100 A, single/ double ratio, double core (Protection core-5P10 & Metering core- Class 1.0), 25 KA for 1 sec of 15 VA minimum Burden.
