| 3 | Door leaf shall be minimum 60 mm thick double skin box type door shutter framing with Top Rail & Vertical Stile of size 100x60 mm and Bottom Rail 200x60 mm made out of 1.2 mm thick galvanised steel sheet (Zinc coating not less than 120 gm/sqm) and 11 mm thick glass panel of clear, toughened, non-wired, fire resistant glass with 120 minutes of fire resistance of approved brand, fixed with GI beading made out of 1.6 mm thick GS sheet (Zinc coating not less than 120 gm/sqm) and finish as specified in relevant Architectural drawing & special ceramic tape of appropriate size etc complete. The internal construction of the door shutter frame should be rigid reinforcement pads for receiving appropriate hardware. The infill material for shutter framing shall be mineral wool insulation infill treated with VIPER FRS 881 LH or as per prototype test report from CBRI Roorkee or reputed international lab, In case the test is not conducted by CBRI Roorkee. For Double leaf doors astragal shall to be provided on the meeting stile for both active and inactive leaf. The glass shall be able to withstand fire attack from both sides. The manufacturer shall give test report/certification of Fire Glass and the glass should have stamp showing value of fire rating. Shutter shall be fixed to frame with SS 304 ball bearing hinges of approved make as per direction of E-I-C. |
