Tender For Supply Of Liquid Nitrogen In Suppliers Transportation Tanker PURITY Hydrogen Oxygen Moisture Argon Methane 1.Delivery: On staggered delivery basis, to be supplied as and when required over a period of minimum one year. Department shall send the requirement details indicating the exact dates of requirement. 2.The basic cost of LIN and transportation cost is firm and fixed for a period of one year from the date of release of Purchase order. The supply of LIN shall be made through supplier’s transport tanker, having a capacity of minimum 12 MT and above. Quality: The quality of product shall be confirmed by the supplier by analyzing the liquid in the respective tanker after filling and the quality certificate shall be sent along with each consignment. The quality of the supplied product will also be tested in our laboratory at IPRC, Mahendragiri. If any deviation in specification is found out, the particular load shall be rejected. LIN basic cost & transportation is not applicable for rejected load of LIN. Quantity measurement: Supplier’s tanker: The quantity shall measured by weighing the tankers at Department Weigh Bridge inside IPRC campus before and after unloading LIN. Before weighment, the pressure of the tanker shall be maintained at or below three bar (g). The excess pressure shall be released before taking the weighment. The final billing quantity= Weight taken with LIN – empty weight taken after unloading LIN. The transport tanker shall be fitted with adequate safety devices like safety relief valves, burst discs, pressure gauges with valid calibration certificate and LIN level indicators with calibration charts for ensuring the safe operation during transfer. The working pressure of the tankers shall not be less than 3 bar (g) and the tankers shall be provided with 1½” NB (BSP M) threaded end connection at tanker’s withdrawal end. The transfer of LIN shall be carried out by pressurization method. The tanker with any other withdrawal end will not be accepted. The tender quantity of LIN (5000 MT) will be split-up as 60:40 basis (i.e., 3000 MT: 2000 MT). L1 bidder will be awarded to supply 3000 MT of LIN and L2 bidder will be awarded to supply 2000 MT of LIN after matching with L1 bidder’s landing cost. If L2 bidder is not accepting the counter offer to match with L1 bidder’s landing cost, chance will be given to L3, L4, L5 and so on suppliers. If L2, L3, L4, L5 and so on supplier are not accepting the counter offer, the entire quantity shall be ordered to L1 party. Payment terms: Payment terms will be made on pro-rata basis within 30 days from the date of receipt & acceptance of liquid Nitrogen at IPRC, Mahendragiri. The peak requirement of LIN at IPRC, Mahendragiri is 100 MT within 10 days. Party should comply this requirement. Quantity variation: The total quantity of LIN may vary ± 10 MT of total purchase order quantity. Supplier’s LIN tanker should reach IPRC, Mahendargiri premises before 12:00 noon on the date of arrival, as informed by IPRC. The following details have to be furnished along with quotation: Air Separation Plant production capacity. Maximum quantity of LIN that can be supplied to IPRC, Mahendragiri on weekly and monthly basis. Specification of LIN with impurities. Analytical Instruments used for measuring purity and impurities. Details of available LIN tankers with capacity.
