4M&Llifting of core assembly by opening of top cover and other items for checking of faults/repair and lowering / refixing the same in its original position after inspection to make it ready for transportation to carry out rewinding work in workshop including transportation of unservicieable transformer `630 KVA upto 2000 KVA capacity to workshop ( rate is deemed to be inclusive of transportation , T&P and men power ) complete all as specified and directed.
5M&L for transportation of transformer of capacity upto 2000 KVA from MES Yard to site location using Hydra/Crane and truck as per requirement to replace defective transformer including installation, testing and connecting at site and to deposit the same to MES Yard after receipt and installation of repaired transformer at site complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Contractor must arrange for transportation and installation for replacement of transformer at site immediately after receipt of verbal/telephonic/written complaint from JE/Engr-in-Charge within 1 day. Any delay beyond 1 day post receipt of complaint shall be penalized @ Rs 2500/- per day and shall be recovered from next due RAR.

7Takingout the unserviceable copper windingfrom transformer 33 KV/433 V of capacity upto 315 KVA after opening top cover,and carrying out the following workcomplete all as specified and directed :- (a) Dismantling of all attachment viz breather assembly, conservator, oil temperature gauge, HT/LT bushing etc. and keeping aside for reuse.. (b)Taking out the core with winding assembly. (c) Removing of complete winding from core and dismantling the core, cleaning of core laminate sheet and keeping aside for reuse (d) Cleaning of complete transformer tank oil fins, removing of sludge, and making the inside surface of tank dry by blowing of hot air as directed and specified. (e)Painting of outside surfaces of transformer complete by means of spray machine as directed.
8All as per item No 7 here-in -beforebut capacity of transformer 630 to 2000 KVA. Note for Item No 07 & 08 : - In case the defective transformer not repaired & installed at site within the specified period of 15 days from the date of handing over of defective transformer/complaint to contractor, a penalty recovery @ Rs 2500/- per day will be charged from his dues.
9(a)Repairsto the transformer 33 KV/433V of capacityupto 2000 KVA as follows :- (i) Replacement of all insulating materials other than incorporated for rewinding of HT/LT coils as per existing. (ii) Fixing only HT procelain bushing with studs, nuts, washers 3 Nos. and LT procelain bushing with studs, nuts, and washers 4 Nos. and connection with primary and secondary windings and reconnecting with the main terminals as required and directed. (iii) Fixing only breather assembly, conservator, oil temperature gauge after proper cleaning, minor repairs etc. as required and directed. (iv) Replacement of all unserviceable gasket from top cover, HT/LT bushing with new one by using rubberised gasket sheet 4.0mm/6.0mm thick duly pasted with suitable adhesive . (v) Replacement of unserviceable bolts with new one and fixing of existing serviceable bolts, nuts, washers of different sizes and tightening properly. (vi) Repositioning of core and winding assembly inside the tank, assembling complete unit and making the transformer ready for filling oil and subsequent testing as directed. (vii)Filling/topping up of new transformer oil of required quantities .
10(b) M& L fortransportation of transformer to the original position (from where taken-down), disconnecting the alternative transformer, taking down the same, Re-installation of repaired outdoor transformer on 4/6 pole structure/plinth/inside sub station, connecting electrically and mechanically, testing and commissioning complete all as specified and directed. (c)The following routine test as per IS 2026 (Part I) -1977 shall be carried out at repairing workshop/manufacturer having NABL Lab accredition and valid calibration of test equipmentsand shall submit MOU with any repairing from reputed workshopas per format attached along with quoted tender, (i)Measurement of winding resistance. (ii)Measurement of voltage ratio and check of voltage vector relationship. (iii)Measurement of impedance voltage/short circuit impedance (principal tapping) and load loss . (iv) Measurement of no load loss and current. (v) Measurement of insulation resistance. (vi)Dielectric tests (d)The contractor shall give written warranty of twoyear from the date of sucessfull testing and installation of transformer. The contractor shall submit test report from repair workshop for above mentioned test. Note :-HT/LT leg coils copper wire/stripand transformer oilrequiredshall be measured and paid separately under relevant items of this Schedule here-in-after as supply only.
11All as per item No 10 here-in -beforebut capacity of transformer 100 to 2000 KVA.
12Supply and fill unused mineral insulating oils conforming to IS 335: 2018, Type II Class (Transformer oils), Uninhibited (U), pour point -10°C, vacuum filtered in a laboratory, Breakdown voltage of min 70 kV at 2.5 mm gap complete all as specified and as directed.
13Filtration, Dehydration, reconditioning of transformer oil by using filtering equipment, vacuum dehydrator etc. to obtain minimum break down voltage of 60 kV and maximum water content of 30 mg/kg as per IS 1866: 2017 and IEC 60422: 2013 complete all as specified and as directed.
14Supplying and fixing in replacement, Porcelain Transformer bushing on LT (440 Volt) side, including brass stems conical bush and gasketafter disconnecting electrically and mechanically for indoor/outdoor transformer of capacity upto 315 KVA andre-connecting electrically and mechanically, testingcomplete all as specified and directed. Note.:- The rates quoted is deemed to be included the cost of necessary labour charges for draining out & re-filling transforer oil,opening of top cover by unscrewing nut, bolts washers and provision ofpadtype bus bar almuminium of approppiate size /capacities of transformers withnut bolt &washers.

53Disconnecting existing incoming & outgoing connections and repair, overhauling and maintenance of VCB, 33 kV, 400 to 630 Amps, 26.3 KA, vertical or horizontal isolation, installed with receiving, distribution system and capacitor bank including cleaning, greasing mechanical parts of VCB, checking operation manually and motorized with remote panel for tripping and closing, checking of CTs/PTs, internal wiring, checking of different functional parts and setting/ calibration of VCB installations including the followings: - (a) checking the condition and alignment of jaw contact and protection system calibration of triple pole overload/earth fault relay with all three phase, trip supervision relay, checking proper functioning of auxiliary relay, master relay etc. lock out under voltage relay & outgoing. (b) checking the proper connection of hardware, alarm system with hooter and reset push button system and auxiliary alarm cancellation relay system. (d) checking the breaker tripping through push button, metering system and replace the same if required as site requirement for ammeter & voltmeter with selector switch, frequency meter, indicator LED lamps for ON / OFF flushed with front of panel on incoming & out going sides. (e) checking insulation resistance between phase to phase, phase to earth in open & closed position and adjusting the clearances between the components and the operation of manual charging of the system button for ON/OFF. (f) checking and testing of relays through secondary injection, checking of motor operated spring stored energy trip and closing coil system.
54(g) checking of VCB through Buchholz relay/OTI/WTI, auxiliary switching system for manual charging & all metering equipments. (h) checking the CT coils & replace the same if required for proper functioning. (i) checking the potential transformer fitted on top of the VCB along with metering equipments and functioning and reconnect the same with as per site requirements. (j) checking the DC wiring system & battery bank and repair and replace the same as per site requirement. (k) Dusting/cleaning by smooth brushing or dry cotton and lubricating of movable mechanism suitably with oil/grease and painting with enamelled paint by scrapping the rusted surface and replacement of unserviceable/ burnt out/worn out spare parts with new one as per existing make, duly commissioned in the VCBs at 33 kV at MRS Bairagarh Mil Stn under the GE including taking down/dismantling of existing unserviceable spares parts of VCB/Capacitor Banks all as directed by Engineer-in-charge. (l) Calibration of VCB Panel and necessary report to be furnished to the department. Note: - (i) The quoted rate shall be inclusive of required T & P for including servicing, overhauling, calibration and testing etc. (ii) The new spare parts required for replacement shall be paid and measured separately as S & F in repairs. (iii) Servicing, overhauling, calibration and testing etc. shall be carried out as per the Manufacturer’s instructions/ guideline and by the authorised rep of the manufacturer and the necessary literature shall be made available to the department. The quoted rate shall be inclusive of these aspects.
55Testing of over current & earth fault IDMT relays as per time/ current characteristics by secondary injection test at 50%, 75%, 100 % plug setting and operating time at twice the set value & TMS 1 and calibrating including well cleaning and decarbonizing of relay contacts.
56Material and Labour for the followings testing of current transformers of any capacity on the site at different locations under the GE and submission of reports to the Engineer-in-Charge including servicing and calibration of current transformers complete all as specified and as directed.
