22Providing and fixing aluminium work for doors, windows, ventilators and partitions with extruded built up standard tubular sections/ appropriate Z sections and other sections of approved make conforming to IS: 733 and IS: 1285, fixing with dash fasteners of required dia and size, including necessary filling up the gaps at junctions, i.e. at top, bottom and sides with required EPDM rubber/ neoprene gasket etc. Aluminium sections shall be smooth, rust free, straight, mitred and jointed mechanically wherever required including cleat angle, Aluminium snap beading for glazing / paneling, C.P. brass / stainless steel screws, all complete as per architectural drawings and the directions of Engineer-in-charge. 25Grading roof for water proofing treatment with Cement concrete 1:2:4 (1 cement : 2 coarse sand : 4 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size)
26Repairing of concrete spalling on ceiling/Anti rust treatment of steel bars all buildings slab/columns by appyling anti rust removing chemical(Dr. Fixit 204 rust remover)1st Step-A. Surface preparation - MS surface remove the loose rust by wire brushing,chipping,hammering or grinding so that majority of rust scale is removed (Dismantle/Removing of plaster shall be paid separately)B.Application- Apply Dr. Fixit Rust Remover on affected surface by using cotton waste swab or by brush application. Leave the surface to react with Dr. Fixit Rust Remover for at least 15 to 30 minutes The rusty surface will change its colour to original blackish steel, remove the same with cotton cloth. Then remove the loose rust particles by scrubbing or simple dusting with the brush. Wash the steel surface with water jetty to remove all the acidic residue left on the bar, and clean withC. Finish-When applied over corroded reinforcement steel, wash the surface with clean water before taking up further work of repairs.Precautions & LimitationsDr. Fixit Rust Remover is acidic in nature, when applied to clean the rusted rebars. Ensure that traces of acid are removed completely by washing with manually, before applying coatings or primers.For thorough removal of rust and cleaning steel bar to ST2 and ST3 standards.2nd Step - Finishing with Epoxy paint (two or more coats) at all locations prepared and applied as per manufacturer"s specifications including appropriate priming coat, preparation of surface, etc.complete.3rd step - Cover the surface with 145 GSM fibre glass mesh sheet (Gyproc Saint Gobin) for waterproofing to roof/crack patch/wall repair/ fibre wall coating/plastering mesh.4th step- 20 mm cement plaster in 2 layer(Each layer having thickness 10 mm)mixed with Dr fixit 301 Pidicrete URP : 1:4 (1 cement: 4 fine sand) after fixing fibre glass mesh on entire portion As a mortar modifier – (6-7.5 kg of Dr. Fixit Pidicrete URP per 50 kg of cement) For concrete repairs - Spalled concrete of floors, columns, beams, chajja, slabs, parapets, etc As repair mortar – Mix Dr. Fixit Pidicrete URP at 10-15% by weight of cement in 1:3 cement-fine sand mix for use as repair mortar along with 20 % water by weight of cement to the workable consistency including disposal of rubbish to the dumping ground within 50 mtr, all complete as per direction of the engineer in charge (The rate is inclusive of all the materials, tools, preparation of surface excluding removing of plaster)
