1Supply, installation, connecting, testing and commissioning outdoor type 11 KV, 630 Amps, Extensible on both side, Outdoor Fixed Type (IP54), RMU (Ring main unit) 4-way comprising of 01 No 630 Amps, motor operated Load Break Switch (Comprising One No. Incomer) & 3 Nos. motor operated SF-6 insulated Vacuum Circuit Breaker as Outgoing, inside robotically /manually/ TIG welded stainless steel 304 (Non Ferrite Non Megnetic Grade) filled with SF6 gas at suitable pressure in accordance with the IEC 62271-103,tank having min thickness 2.5+0.5 mm having IP 67 Degree of Protection. The RMU tank shall provide full insulation, making the switchgear. insensitive to the environment with degrees of protection of IP67. The RMU shall be suitable for operations at a height up to 1000 meters above sea level and at 40 degree ambient temperature without any derating. RMU should be provided with internal busbars, as well as earthing busbars should be of copper, padlock provisions & complete with all accessories. The RMU shall be type tested for Internal arc test of 25kA/1 sec as per IEC62271-200. RMU shall be equipped with site replaceable bushing. The earthing busbar shall be provided inside each cable compartment for solid earthing of Cable sheilds. The outer enclosure main door should cover entire part of the switchgear including front cover and cable doors for providing complete IP 54 protection including raised foundation of suitable size, minimum 50 cm above and 01 meter below the natural ground levels all as per manufacture"s drawing. The unit shall include the following with all necessary standard fitting as required at site.(a) 01 No. Incoming Load Break Switch module should consist of following accessories :630A Load Break Switch module for making and breaking of fault current alongwith, Earth Switch of full making capacity, Short time current - 25KA/ 1 sec, Making Capacity - 50KA, Auxiliary contacts - 1NO + 1NC, Power frequency withstand voltage - 28KV, Impulse withstand voltage - 75KV, Nominal operating gas pressure - 1.3 (Minimum) Bar abs,Front cover mechanism - IP2X, Cable covers - 3X, Snap action mechanism for manual operation, Cable box for front termination of the cable suitable upto 3 core 185 Sqmm, 11 KV XLPE cable Right angle boots (push on type), Suitable site replaceable Cable bushings, Arc proof cable covers with self Interlocking mechanism with earth switch , Capacitive voltage indication fixed type system as per IEC61243, (i) -Impulse withstand voltage- 75kVP (an altitude<1000 m above msl) (ii) -SF6 Gas pressure indicator (iii) -230V AC shunt Trip coil for external trip signal (iv) - Live cable indicating LEDs energised through capacitive voltage dividers.(v) -All feeders of RMU shall be provided with multifunction meters having complete range of measurement including maximum demand and shall have serial port for communication (vi) Metering compartment of RMU shall be provided with auxiliary transformer of suitable capacity to supply power to battery charger. (vii) Integral earthing switch with making switch.(viii) Emergency Trip Push Button. (ix) Transformer card for auxiliary protection. (x) RMU shall be provided with 3 core metering and protection CTs minimum ratio for protection CTs shall be 400-200-100/5/1, 5P10, 2.5 VA and and for metering CT shall be 200/5/1A Class 1, 2.5 VA. (xi) 12 V Battery with battery charger with suitable burden for motor operation. Input 230 V AC & Output 24 V DC. Note: LBS shall have 3 positions, open or disconnected, closed and earthed, and will be constructed in such a way that interlocking prevents unauthorized operations. Manual opening and closing will be driven by a fast-acting /snap action mechanism, independent of operator action. LBS and earth switch shall have a min of 1000 (M1) mechanical operations , 100 electrical operations at rated current and 5 nos operations ar rated SC current. (b) 03 Nos Outgoing Breakermodule should consist of following accessories:(i) 630A Vaccum Circuit Breaker module for making and breaking of fault current alongwith Earth Switch of full making capacity. VCB should be capabl to bear 40 dead short circuit operation. 2(i) Type M: Air Insulated metering module 12KV, 630A, 25KA for 1 sec. - 3 Voltage Transformers of the ratio 11kV/v3 / 110 V/v3, 50 VA, Class 1.0 with HT fuses on primary side and MCB on secondary side. (ii) -Microprocessor based IDMT (50, 50N, 51, 51N) relay for overcurrent, short circuit and earth fault protection. (iii) - 01 No each LED Illumination. (iv) - 01 No each Space Heater with thermostat (v) - Each RYB phase indications for 2 incoming and 1 out going. (vi) - 1 Cable support bus bars, standard for 4 way unit.(vii)- 1 set Bushings for external busbar connection along with Busbar cover & Sleeved busbars for coupling. (viii) - 4x12 V Battery with battery charger with suitable burden for motor operation. Input 230 V AC & Output 24 V DC. (a) Capacitive voltage indication fixed type VPIS 9-15 KV (b) Necessay interclocking arrangement for safety and operations(c) One No. Operationg Handle for Manual Operation. (d) One No. Manometer. (e) Safety Interlocks Shall be provided as per relevant IEC/IS Standards and Manufacturers directions. (f) Above switchgear shall confirm to all relevant IEC/IS Standards. (g) Manual operation of Circuit Breaker should be possible without dismantling the motor from RMU. The motor should be fitted in such a way that it should not be outside front covers of RMU. (h) Coupling of RMU and Metering module should be with the help of Bolted type arrangement, so that the coupling at site shall be easy. Plug-in type bushing shall not be acceptable. (j) All cable bushing should be replaceable type.(k) Module should be accommodated as per manufacture"s design. (l) RMU cable box shall be front accesible type to have easy access to protection and metering CTs. Vaccum Interupter should be of same make. Cable box should be arc proof with bolted door and interlocked with respective earthing switches. Doors should be removable for the ease access to terminate cables. (m) 11 KV 630 A VCB Handling Trolly.For Ring Main Unit A special paint coating will be done for RMU since the site is near coastal region. Note :(i) The contractor will submit NABL accredited lab test reports of the RMU in original and the same shall be produced well before claiming RAR payment of the RMU. (ii) Drawing will be submitted to GE for approval before placement of order iii) Cost of construction of plinth for accomodating RMU as per manufacturer design and chainlink fencing of height 1.2 mtr as per MES specification and drawing is included in the quoted rate Note : (Item No 1 & 2) :- (i)Pre-despatch inspection shall be carried out by Rep of Accepting Officer. All arrangement for the same shall be provided by the contractor & shall be considered within quoted rates.
3Supply, install, testing and commissioning step down distribution transformer 200 KVA copper wound outdoor type 11000/433 volt 3 phase 4 wire 50 cycles, naturally oil cooled type suitable for outdoor installation, connected delta on HV side and star on LV side with neutral brought out LT side with solid earthing system with off load tap changing switch on HT side to vary secondary voltage in steps of 2.5% each with in limit and with standard accessories like oil temperature with indicator for highest temperature gauge, silica gel, breather assembly, oil conservator tank with oil filling hole duly pluged, with bare HV and LV bushings, CI roller wheel, lifting lugs, explosion vent, air release plug, earthing terminals, oil drain valve of gun metal with plug, oil filter valve with plug, name rating and diagram plate, oil level indicator and arching horn set and other fittings/ accessories and for standard requirement first fill oil including connections complete including removing existing 100 KVA transformer for the safe custody of department all as specified and directed.
4Supply, laying jointing and testing under ground XLPE insulated, PVC bedded, galvanized steel strip armoured electric power cable (heavy duty) with stranded aluminium conductor, 11000 volts grade with earthed system of size 95 Sqmm 3 core confirming to IS, through pipes or along the pole complete all as specified and directed.
5Supply,fixing, jointing and testing cable jointing kit for 11 KV grade cable for outdoor end termination heat shrink type joint complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 3 core XLPE armoured Al conductor cable of size 95 sqmm complete all as specified and directed.
6Supply,fixing, jointing and testing cable jointing kit for 11 KV grade cable for indoor end termination heat shrink type joint complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 3 core XLPE armoured Al conductor cable of size 95 sqmm complete all as specified and directed.
7Supply and fix MS Cross arms, bracing,supports, clamps and back plates fabricated from structuralsteel section including nuts, bolts, washers, welding , bending, cold or hot, drilling holes or bolt in any shape or size including 2 coats of aluminium paint complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note : Unexposed surface shall be given one coat of primer only.
8Supply and Laying XLPE insulated, armoured heavy duty electric cables with aluminium conductor of size 240 sq mm 3.5 core, 1100 voltls grade for necessary connection with suitable lugs & fixing arrengment with necessary clamps & cable glands etc complete all as directed and specified
9Ditto as per item No. 8, but of size 120 sq mm 3.5 core
10Ditto as per item No.8, but of size 70 sq mm 3.5 core
11Ditto as per item No. 8, but of size 50 sq mm 3.5 core
12Material and labour for brick protection using old size sub class ‘B’new bricks, laid flat dry but jointed, laid length wiseperpendicular to theaxis of cable all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
13Excavation in trenches in soft/loose soil not exceeding 1.50 mtr wide and not exceeding 1.50 mtr in depth for laying of cables and gettingout complete all as specifiedand directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
14Material and labour for sand cushioning with a layer of sand 8cm thick before laying of cable and 15 cm thick after laying of cable in trenches complete all as specified.
15Supply & laying un-reinforced precast concrete cable cover, class HV, type I, flat, size 300mm x 180mm x 40mm, ISI marked laid flat in trenches over the cable with the length of brickperpendicular to the directionof cable length, adjacent/abutting each other complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.
16Returing, filling in, including spreading, leveling watering and well ramming inlayers not exceeding 25 cms thick each layer compete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
17Removal of surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 mtr and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 mtr above the starting point completeall as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.
18Supply and fixing galvanised pipe light grade of ISI marked 100 mm bore for passing of cable fixed to poles/walls/lay under floor complete with and including fittings as required compete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.
19Earthing complete for Transformers/ LT Panels with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 60cmx60cmx6mm thick buried directly in ground vertically at a depth not less than2.25 metres below normal ground level with top edge of the plate at a depth not less than 1.5 metres belownormalgroundlevel,connected with and including GI strip 32mm x 6mm in andincluding GI pipe 50mm bore medium grade as protection pipe (from top of earth plate up to the test point) and connecting strip to earth plate by means of GI bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers and thimbles at two places (minimum), earth plate surrounded by packed layers of charcoal dust and common salt 15cm thick, all around includingtop and bottom and watering pipe 20mm bore of GI pipe light grade with funnel and wire mesh, PCC chamber of size 300x300x300mm(top of chamber minimum 15 cm above the normal ground level (1:3:6) using 20mm graded stone aggregate and RCC cover (1:2:4) type B-I using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate of 25mm thick with 2 nos MS handles of 12mm dia including necessary excavation/ earth work in any type of soil/rock and as shown in Electrical plate No. 3 of SSR Part-I (2009) testing on completion complete all as specified. (i) Bus bar strip,four pole and capacity 450 Amps copper strip of suitable sizebased on 1.5 Amps per sqmm, coloured with plastic coated insulated and sleaves in four colours (Red,Yellow, blue and black) fixed on porcelaininsulators with necessary nuts and bolts and washers etc (ii) INCOMING : -(a) MCCB 400 Amp, 415 V, 36 KA, 4 pole with adjustable thermal magnetic release -01 Nos.(b) Panel meters with LCD display -1 No (c)Indicator with neon lamps for RYB , 3 Phase with MCBs set of three-01 set (iii) OUTGOING:-(a) MCCB 200 Amp, 415 V, 25 KA, 4 pole with adjustable thermal magnetic release -01 Nos.(b) MCCB 160 Amp, 415 V, 25 KA, 4 pole with adjustablethermal magnetic release -02 Nos.(c) MCCB 125 Amp, 415 V, 25 KA, 4 pole with adjustablethermal magnetic release -02 Nos.(d) MCB SPN 40 Amp, 240 V, 10 KA, C-Curve - 05 Nos. 22M & L for cement concrete in foundations, filling and mass concrete, PCC 1:3:6 type C2 (40 mm graded aggregate) complete all as specified and directed.

24M&L 15mm thick cement mortar 1:4 on fair faces of brick work or stone or concrete surfaces fiishing the surface even & smooth without using extra cement.
25M & L for reperation of new plastered surface of external walls and applying 2 coats of cement base paint, over a coat of alkali resistant primer complete all as specified and directed.
26M & L for 50 mm thick Cement Concrete typeB-11:2:4 (20 mm graded aggregate) in coping and the ike including weathering, slightly rounded or chamfered angles and throating, including necessary form work complete alla s specified and directed.
27M & L for hardcore of gauge exc 63 mm but not exc 100 mm deposited, spread and levelled in layers n. exc 15cm thick, watered and rolled/rammed to a true surface (brocken stone or boulder) complete all as specified and directed.
28M & L for 75 mm thick PCC 1:3:6 type C using 40 mm store crushed agg as in plinth protection complete all as specified all as specified and directed.
29Taking down old HT PCC poles carefully and including breaking of PCCmaking good the disturbed surface all as specified and directed.
30Material and labour for spreading stone aggregate 40 mm size not less than 15 CMthick around RMU/Transformer plinth and ramming it to true level all as specified and diected.
31Re-routing/re-laying HT/LT cable of any size by taking up cable protection cover, by excavation carefully and re-filling all as specified and directed. Note :(i)Re-laying of serviceable protection cover shall deemed to be included in unit quoted rate. (ii) Exc, removal and returning filling of soil will be measured under appropriate item of Sch "A"
32Material and labour for fixing cable route indicators made of PCC (1:3:4) duly engraved “MES LT CABLE" /"LT CABLE JOINT"coloured with two coats of synthetic paint in brown of size 150 x 150 x 900 mm fixed 300mm below ground level.
