1Supply, Installation, Testing & Commisioning of Microprocessor basedaddressablefully networkable fire alarm control2 loop panel ( VDS / UL / LPCB /approved ) suitable for the devices as stated in the previous items of this BOQ along with 20% spare capacity witheach loop loading not exceeding 80% of the full capacity of detectors and devices taken together, conplying to IS 2189:2008 or its latest amendments, and with minimum 600 character alpha - numericliquid crystal display.The panel shall be soft addressable type andshall be able to give pin point location of all fire/ fault conditions. Further, the panel must be able to automatically switch off respective control switches with help monitor modulewhenever any alarm is triggered. The Panel should be able to store sufficient numbers oflog events in itsMemory as per recommended standards. The panel should have extra loop card slot for expansion of capcity twice.
2The panel shall have in built rectifier,provision for external & internal printer ( if required ), Loop cards,L C D unit to indicate Fire/Fault Signal with address and analog output,complete in all respects,in built Surge protection facility, integral SMF lead acid batteries with sealed cells of 24 V capable of runningfor 24 hours normal working and then be capable of operating the system for 60 minutes during Emergency condition, with integral battery charger complete in all respect as required.
3The FACP shall be capable of being networked ( future expansion ) with other similar FACP located at different part of the premises throughsingle RS 485 modbus. The FACP shall have provision for interfacing with the public address system, remote computer and BMS interface.The system must be preloaded with licenced software. 4Supply, Installation,Testing & Commisioning of Micropresssor controlled AddressableMultisensor detector IP 42 ( VDS / UL / LPCBapproved ) withinbuilt optical smoke sensors and heat detector sensor with inbuilt short circuit fault isolatoras per NFPA style 7 wiring complete with base (Note : Detectors without built-in fault isolator is also acceptable provided one independent short circuit fault isolator per detector is to be provided extra without extra cost) the detectors should have built in response indicator with LED indicator. The detector should have 360 degree optical view with single / multiple LED that blinks on actuation of detector. Reverse polarity or faulty zone wiring shall not damage the detectors. 7Supply, Installation, Testing & Commissioning of Addressable Loop Powered Hooter ( sound output of minimum 90 db )cum strobe (strength of light 10 cd) complete with inbuilt short circuit fault isolator. 8Supply & Laying of 2 Core 1.5 sq.mm FRLS shielded copper Cable (For Loop) (Make. Finolex/Gloster/ RR Kable/Polycab) through 19 mm dia PVC "FR" type Rigid Conduit pipe including S & laying of the 19 mm dia PVC "FR" type Rigid Conduit pipewith necessary arrangement as per G.S. (Make : Precision/ AKG/ Universal/ Polycab) on the surface of the wall.
9Checking, Testing and recommisioning of existing Siemens make EN standard, VDS approved microprocessor based fire alarm panel .
10NOTE :-1) The Fire Alarm system shall comply with latest requirements of-- (i) National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) Standards,(ii) IS 2189 , (iii) NFPA 70 National Electric Code, (iv) NFPA 72 National Fire Alarm & Signaling Code , (v) Local Statutory Regulations , (vi) Manufacturer Recommendation. vii) System should be integrated with the components like FACP, Detectors, MCP, Hooter, Monitor Module, Relay Module, etc. and all these components should be of same brand.
11TESTS :- 1) The system shall be tested and commissioned by a qualified competent, trained engineer or technician authorized by the manufacturer of the fire alarm equipment to technically supervise and participate during all of the adjustments and tests for the system. 2) Before energizing the cables and wires, inspection and check for correct connections, and test for short circuits, ground faults, continuity, and insulation and other tests as per applicable Indian/International standards must be done.
12The Agency must procure the materials from the Manufacturer / OEM or from their authorised sales channel so that the standard warranty / support of the Manufacturer / OEM becomes applicable to the products to be delivered and installed by them.Documents that authenticates such procurement from the Manufacturer / OEM or from their authorized sales channel and standard warranty / support should be sent from the e-mail of the Manufacturer / OEM / authorized sales channel to the e-mail of Engineer-in-Charge and hard copy of it to be submitted during execution, of work/ submission of bill. If any refurbished material is supplied and installed, penal action will be taken as per existing rules
13Defect Liabibility Period 1 (One) year
