| 3 | (a)The above job shall be carried out by a trained electrician having ITI in electrical, documentary proof of the education of tradesman shall be produced before commencement of work. |
| 4 | (b)Contractor or his Authorised Representative has to inspect all Street/ Security Lights on Daily basis at their own arrangement between 7.00 PM to 9.00 PM and maintain the record in Register which will be put up to Engineer-in-Charge/ JE on the very regular basis. |
| 5 | (c) A Joint Inspection for Serviceability of all Street/Security Lights will be carried out from 7.00 PM to 9.00 PM on every MONDAY by Engineer-in-Charge/ JE (E/M)/ User along with Contractor or his authorised Representative. |
| 6 | (d) Contractor has to arrange own moveable Generatorof suitable capacity for repairing and testing of the Street/ Security Lights, defect rectification of Cables, etc. and to check the serviceability after repair.No Electricity shall be provided by the Department on this account. |
| 7 | (e) Quoted Unit Rate shall deemed to be inclusive of attending any breakdown of Street/ Security Lights during night. Contractor has to arrange Electrician and Helper and all necessary T&P and Equipment"s to remove the breakdown. Fault will be intimated through Telephone/ SMS. |
| 8 | (j)Contractor shall provide conveyance to the deployed labour for maintaining the services without any extra cost to department. |
| 9 | (k)Vehicle mounted ladder for maintaining services shall be provided by the contractor at no extra cost to department. |
| 10 | (l) Materials requiredfor the repairing of the lights shall be measured and paid separately under respective item(s) as supply and fixing . But labour required for taking down, dismantling, repairing and replacing parts and reinstalling and testing the street lights fittings shall deemed to beincluded in the rate quoted. |
| 11 | (m)Necessary T&P, Safety Belt, Vehicle, Aluminium Ladder, etc. will be arranged by the Contractor and Cost for the same shall deem to be included in the Quoted Unit Rate. |
| 12 | (n)All safety measures and provn of all safety devices, first aid box etc shall be provided by the contractor.Contractor will be solely responsible forfull safetyof the persons deployed for providing the services and department will have no liability for any type of accident/injury of any type. Unit rate quoted will be deemed to include the cost of the same and no extra payment shall be made on this part. |

| 16 | (i) Contractor has to ensure serviceability of all Street/ Security Lights in above mentionedDOMESTIC & TECHNICAL AREA on Daily basis in any Weather Condition at their own arrangement. |
| 17 | (f)In case of any delay in attending the complaint more than 12 hrs after handing over routine/urgent work, the contractor shall be liable to pay the penalty as described in penalty clause given here as under. |
| 18 | (g) The penalty shall be applicable to the contractor if the delay is noticed by the Engr-in-Charge more than twelve hrs after handing over works of urgent nature to the contractor. The Engr-in-Chargeshall handover the slip containing specification of work to the contractor by lodging the time and signature of contractor be obtained on slip.The contractor shall attend the complaint immediately and shall report to Engr-in-Charge with in 12 hrs. The contractor will keep his tradesmen in stand by for attending any routine / urgent works from the executive.If the nature of job is such that the work cannot be completed within period of 12hrs then the facts shall be brought to the notice of the GE/Engr-in-Chargeand the period for the working to the complaint shall be decided by the GE/EIC. If the delay is more then twelve hrs period and the GE is not satisfied with the reason for delay then penalty at the rate of Rs 50/- per job shall be deducted from the dues of the contractor. Please note that this penalty is exclusively other then the condition 56 of IAFW - 2249 and shall be treated as interim condition of the contract and shall be enforce above as and when delay in individual job is noticed and no claim whatsoever on this account shall be entertained by the Deptt. |
