| 5 | M&L for distempering in twocoat on Wall including following procedure: (i) Preparation of old surface shall include brooming down or steel wire brushing; scrapping down smoke soot, moulds, moss and efflorescent salts and trading oil and greasy spots.,it shall be ensured that the surface to be painted must be free from any loose paint, dust or grease. Any previous growth of fungus, algae or moss shall be removed thoroughly by vigrours wire brushing and cleaning with water. Surface imperfection such as holes, removal of nails,dents fine cracks should be filled with wall putty. (Make: JK/ Birla White Wall Putty orbetter specification as per direction of E.I.C.) [The surface such prepared shall be shown to SIC & EIC for inspection before application of Primer](ii) Apply coat of primer by thining 1 liter ogf primer (Make: 1st quality Asian Paints / Nerolac Paints wall primer orbetter specification as per direction of E.I.C.) with 1 liter of water and allow the primer coat to dry for 4 hours. Sand the surface with emery paper No.320 and wipe clean. [The surface after application of Primer shall be shown to SIC & EIC before application of of Distemper](iii) Applying two coat of Acrylic distemper (Make: Asian Paints Tractor Acrylic Distepmer / Nerolac Paints Beauty Acrylic Distemperorbetter specification as per direction of E.I.C.) as per manufacturer\"s specification. The application shall be done by using roller and use of brush allowed only where roller can\"t be used. Stir the paint well before use. Painting by hand spray etc is not permitted, upto 18m height including necessary scaffolding, staging and all safety equipments, including complete cleaning of site etc. all compete as directed by EIC (Note : The contractor shall note & shall strictly adhere to the Points given below for Work Procedure and Materials to be incorporated in the work, befire quoting for the Item. It shall be presumed that Contractor has clearly understood the Specification both for materials & Work procedure and shall carry out the work at quoted rates strictly adhering to the Specification both for materials & work procedure) |

Any previous growth of fungus, algae or moss should be removed throughly by vigorous wire brushing and cleaning with water. Surface imperfection such as holes, dents fine crack should be filled with exterior wall putty (Make: Asian/Nerolacorbetter specification as per direction of E.I.C.) or mixture of white cement and fine sand in proportion 1:3. [The surface such prepared shall be shown to SIC & EIC for inspection before application of primer] ii) Applingcoat of Exterior Wall Primer (Make: Asian/Nerolac orbetter specification as per direction of E.I.C.) by thinning 1 liter of primer with 1 liter of water. Allow the primer coat to dry 4 hours.[The surface after application of Primer shall be shown to SIC & EIC before application of Ist coat of Exterior Emulison]iii) Applying two coat of cement paint, (Make: Apex Weather Proof Exterior paint from Asian Paints/Excel Total acrylic Exteriorfrom Nerolac paints orbetter specification as per direction of E.I.C.) by diluting 1 liter paint with 400ml of water. A gap of 4-6 hours should be given between two coats. Painting by hard spray is not permitted etc upto 18m height including necessary scaffolding, staging and all safety equipment, including complete cleaning of site etc. all complete as directed by EIC. [The surface after application of Ist coat shall be shown to SIC & EIC before application of 2nd coat of Cement Paint Subsequently the surface after application of 2nd coat shall be shown to SIC & EIC for final inspection.](Note : The contractor shall note & shall strictly adhere to the Points given below for Work Procedure and Materials to be incorporated in the work, before quoting for the Item. It shall be presumed that Contractor has clearly understood the Specification both for materials & Work procedure and shall carry out the work at quoted rates strictly adhering to the Specification both for materials & work procedure) |
